All I can say is respect how Bowen kept his cool and fought to win at all cost.
These refs should NEVER work a match again wow LOL!
No one should travel to India for a match lmao
@@Lestergreen77 pls dont come.
That's right, these refs are pretty shitty at their jobs. Well Done Ryan, for being a sportsman inspite of his shifty starts and the knuckles and those clear hand advantage he takin. He tried those shitty top rolls but your stops and those comebacks. Kudos
@@Desneaky.larrat no one wants to lmao
Ref are not professional at all
17:58 OMG you can't even see Bowens thumb. I don't mean the thumb knuckle.. I mean you can't see ANY of his thumb at all. That is nuts. People have negative opinions of Bowen, but I have to give credit where it's due. To come back from the most one-sided setups and unfair reffing, my hat is off to him.
holy shit, wow lol, that is ridiculous setup
what theh hell i just noticed that.... wow!!! how did bowen recover from that
11:07 also see this😂
I have to agree, I'm not a bowen fan but watching this video I actually gained a lot of respect for him
Ryan reffed better than the refs. 🙈
The reffing is an absolute mess, but solid match. Ryan held and turned things around from some terrible positions.
Yup, the reffing was amateur hour.
Just about EVERYTHING in India is amateur hour.
Very big foul😂
@@jrock2460 yeah the match was biased like crazy
Ryan's patience is very impressive. He just continued to play even he's being cheated.
Refs tried everything in their power to push their guy over the finish line but Ryan dug deep and was victorious, bravo!!!
That's wishful thinking.
Mazahit was strong but low mileage.
That has to be the most biased reffing I've seen in my life 😂 well done on getting it done despite having to fight both mazahir and the refs
So indians called theif
This win impressed me
That's India for you. Look at how they doctor pitches in the cricket and th3 BCCI bullies the ICC for every for every advantage
But ryan was allowed to start with a cupped wrist too
This is India, In every sport Politics unvolved and not the best were never chose in Olympics
Now I know what they mean when they say "home advantage" 🤔
💪🏼😁👍🏻
Haha right this is bloody bastard hìndus
All that sidepressure training Ryan did under Todd's guidance really served him well in the match. Great win, great match.
Insane elbow fouls on Mazahir (literally inches off the pad for ages) and very lax reffing in the setups. Despite that, you did well mate - congrats.
Agreed, especially the start of round 3.
Bunch of crying the whole time.
Don't forget about his shoulders going below table surface every time he top rolled.
found the indian 😂@@montanawhite5699
yea this guy has a bigger elbow pad on his table
Where is Ryan’s thumb, let alone his knuckle 😂
I don't think the referee understands what a knuckle is 😂😂😂😂
as a indian I apologies of how the refrees did it dirty ....
Right 💯 as an Indian i can say that cheating is not our culture
It defamed the legendary Mazahir 😢
I usually joke about Ryan but he was getting screwed here with the grips honestly
Over a billion people and still can't produce a single human strong enough to defeat Ryan Blue Bowen.
Great match.
Here in india parents wants their children to be government dogs or private dogs , thats the thing other wise a sports like cricket which is known and loved by all indians there we excel same in hockey , so bro dont judge us its our failed culture that lead to this
Mazahir Saidu is the 3rd strongest arm wrestler in Asia. He won bronze in Asian arm wrestling championship.
But they have the best scammers. 999 million out of a billion of them.
@@HSKFabrications still 401millions are clean af but what abt europe be4 1940 scammed india for 2 centuries , hipocracy at its peak
@@desh_bhakt07 Bringing up the past like a crazy girlfriend.
Yeah this proves you were a tier ahead of him! The referees were useless. All good Ryan this means you’re elite now, keep going. 💪🏽
Elite is sure a word to throw around there
Very good but hes not elite 😂
1. Treacherous elbow fouls
2. Starting in the rise covering the knuckle
3. Maz’s shoulder consistently breaking the plane of the table. It’s not allowed to dip below the table or it’s a foul.
4. Fighting 2 refs as well as Maz
5. Still pulled out the win.
You forgot a sixth one a convenient lights out to get some time to recover.
@@DanielJones-hz3gj lol. They tried everything but Mr Bowen is solid.
love how you guys experienced terrible desi reffing, load shedding, and food poisoning. xD the whole experience. love it
The climb on the knuckle before the go is ridiculous. Congrats on keeping your cool and getting the W!
I really like how this is filmed, might be one of the best production qualities of any match I've seen. Feels like I'm right there watching from the side lines
With that kind of technical capabilities how the hell is he no 1 in India???
He is a charted accountant by profession and a part time arm wrestler
Denic and op is no.1 in india..not mahazir
16:38 The atmosphere when the power goes out and the traditional drums start playing.... lol, you ain't in Brisbane anymore. 😂 Great job Blue
I hope events in India aren't all reffed like that, because it'll get their athletes all used to competing with really weird grips, straps and so-on which is basically going to cripple their chances in any evens in the major tournaments elsewhere...can see Mazahir is used to basically gripping a thumbnail while forcing opponents into a Dad move. Dude is strong though and it was a decent match.
Ryan's usual defensive position is weird, but clearly works. Would love to see these 2 under different rules - would be a great match anywhere I have no doubt.
Well done blue. Maz rising in every set was crazy. Your side pressure held strong. Rematch in Australia Bowen wins 4-0 with rules.
Maza is way 💪 than bowen only reason he lost his because with high 🐴 power comes blow mileage
@@clempat4I mean, clearly it’s the literal opposite. In the second round with a fair set up Ryan effortlessly smashed through him with a hook. He’s much stronger maz is just a cheater
16:11 Lmao 😂
11:16 LOL .. look at how high Mazahir is gripping
In despite of the ilegal setups and elbow fouls, Ryan gets the win. Congrats man, continue to do your thing.. cheers from Chile
Great Match Ryan, you had a lot of adversaries in this one 💪💪 Best regards from Québec, Canada
You didn't think they were gonna just let you win did you? They pulled out all the tricks 😂
Been looking forward to this one💪
Unbelievable that Bowen still won with that reffing!
Ryan was forced to be the referee of his own match, a disgrace to refereeing in India
Ryan literally grabs his wrist and says where is my knuckle. Classic.
He had to , Maz’s webbing was always two inches higher. The Ref had know idea what to told.
11:06 mahazir obviously gripping higher during the setup. Classic mahazir...
@@bob-uj4vngripping? He is barely gripping lol...he wait till the last second b4 actually gripping SUPER high...its disgusting
Well done bro. Big trip, but worth it for the competition and making new connections.
Good match btw. Would be good to get a few of the Indian lads over here for a few matches.
That was an uphill battle. Brillant gripping and pulling, Ryan.
I think that Ryan was explaining better than the referee😅. Huge respect for Ryan Bowen🙏🏻
11:16 and 16:10. I am laughing so hard. Under WAL rules or KOTT rules Ryan would have murdered this guy😂😂
What about you son?
So you are now the No.1 arm wrestler amongst 1.4 billion people? Wow.
It's all refree fault he didn't settled the mazhair hand properly as a Indian I Apologise for this
he's a Muslim they create nuisance in our country shameful game
Few observations!
Ryan tried a toproll intially and understood that Mazahir's toproll is better. While both were toprolling, both were on each other's knuckles and both were okay with it. Noone complained.
From the second round Ryan was smart enough not to try toproll and gripped Mazahir Low and loose. He surely has better side pressure which earned him a win.
Third round he again tried to use a higher grip which surely didn't work in his favour. He said he would wanted a tighter strap which may not have made a difference if he was gripping high.
Ryan table IQ is really high and he again gripped low and loose to make it a side pressure battle.
In the later rounds, Ryan was holding Mazahir really low by choice. It wasnt Mazahir who was adjusting to get a higher grip. Ryan dug his thumb deep and pushed it back in order to get better access to Mazahir's wrist. It is what many hook players do to get better access to side pressure against someone who has a very strong toproll hit. In this case, a referee's grip would have been a better option because Ryan was digging his thumb down which automatically forced Mazahir to grip high and come over his knuckles.
As per WAF rules( which the refs are trained with), the strap has to be tight without any slack. The competitors can request the referee to tighten it but the one that has the buckle on hand is given a bit of preference. If the strap is already tight without any slack, the referee may not tighten it further. I don't see any issues there.
Overall I feel Mazahir had a stronger toproll but couldn't finish the game by locking his dominant position with his structure. Ryan's elbow integrity was the game changer. He could hold Mazahir easily once he got his elbow lock set. Toddzilla training has surely worked for him.
I'll be eager to see a rematch as the match was way too close and it was fun!
Outstandingly accurate read. Well done.
according to WAF rule number 8.1.6 Competitors cannot drop the competing shoulder below the level of the elbow pad when in a
neutral or losing position. This will be considered a dangerous position.
The neutral position defined as the starting position down to 2/3 of the way to the losing side
of the table. and Mazahir is doing it through out the match and no one even warned him. at least be graceful no matter your fellow country man is winning or loosing, this is pure pathetic and disgusting.
Perfect breakdown. Exactly wat I saw. Dude covered thumb but Ryan was so low how could he not lol. Hope Indian dude felt no shame. He looked like a bad dude that day.
Come on this is a ridiculous breakdown, are you serious? Ryan bowen held to low? Even a monkey can see mahazir was climbing his hands during the setup....
19:28 is just a perfect example...
It was interesting to see someone wanting a super loose strap. I'm very used to a tight strap but may experiment with it being loose on the buckle side as it allows a toproller more movement to gain height once the round starts.
The energy in that room is CRAZY! Well done
It was crazy, 800 fans going nuts, the Indians know how to put on a show :)
As well as nasty curry smell in there lmao
Man that was an awesome match, glad Ryan persevered through the bad starts.
That was one heck of a match 💪.. I thought he had ol Ryan after seeing the 1st couple rounds but the Bowen got er done 💪
They turned off the lights for that darkhouse effect. The drums added alot of atmosphere too. I can appreciate that.
Great production!
Incredible match, very impressive technicalities
As an Indian i say there is nothing fair. Most athletes are from rich background and the political leaders have no educational degree except money and power. Welcome to India.
Well dayum...i feel bad for ppl that came there to armwrestler lol
Well dayum...i feel bad for ppl that came there to armwrestler lol
Thank you for the match, guys. I wish you the best. 👍
19:32 what is this grip???
Well done Bowen! The reff should've been more aware here. Love from India. Keep shining bro
Excellent match!
Ryan .......Great job Mate , Proud of you , You played splendid ...
Great match brother!
The dude working the electricity bike got off to do a piss. 🤣
Ryan we all see how when he was gassed the lights went off😂😂 needed time to rest
My victory speech wouldn't have been so magnanimous. Credit to you Ryan.
Once I heard the blown out speakers and the screaming crowds and the banging drums, I knew without a doubt, this match ain't taking place in Austria!
Austria and Australia different countries 🤣
This was actually ryan vs sadhu and 2 referees .
Great match. Reffing was a mess though 😂
We need to have similarity in the reffing between the leagues
LOL, what a joke on the setups...it's no wonder you always see Mazahir always cupping and starting crazy high in all the videos you see him in...Larry's channel for instance...it's because the refs over there don't ever concern themselves with it...they just let it all go.
I'm sure the reffing will get better in time, league is young, good match mate!
Yikes... the reffing
ref was trying everything to let mazahir win and he still lost lol, what an absolute clown fiesta
lmao power goes off. This is the most Indian thing I've ever seen.
Ryan well done the reffing was terrible, Mazahir was doing all the dirty tricks.
As an Indian, I agree the fact that the refs were awesome 🔥
Awesome performance Ryan....nuff respect to you and Mazahir.
Well done. Worst reffing ever...
Respect to Blue, felt like you were fighting most of the room g
Just when you thought you’ve see it all LMAOOOOOOOOOOOO😂
Excelente, saludos desde Costa Rica, pura vida !!!
I never thought I would want Ryan to win a match as bad as I wanted him to win this one
bowen is crazy strong.... look at this thumb completely gone in the setup yet he recovered and pinned mazahir..... monster
Congrats, Ryan!! Exciting match. You have a very well rounded game.
just a headsup, you should always have a image with the score on the screen during these kinds of matches.
This refereeing was as legitimate at the indian moon landing.
Well done blue! Battled on despite the bad ref , a well deserved win
The timing of the lights going out… Convenient
Strongest taxi driver I've seen yet.
I’d hate to think the lights went out to give mazahir more time to rest because it sure looked that way :)
Buena victoria Ryan un poco complicado en la configuración pero pudiste salir airoso. Mazahir no pudo a pesar de las ayudas de los árbitros
Well done Ryan!
Awesome match brother
Awesome match. You earned it, Blue.
Ref was lost… No one will ever want to go there for a supermatch if the refs doesn’t give a fair set up
Hahahahahahah refs:'are u guys ready? Goooooo' 🤣
Why does it seem like the tables so high? Is it not regulation spec?
Great event for armwrestling community. Arm wrestling is really getting popular right now, and this is because of this kind of event. My only pet peeve with this match is the different angles of the camera during the fight, it's not like your filming a movie so why change it, we want to see how the fight transitioned even in preperation, you could do it in post matches as recap. Regardless, love the event.
If you watched any types of combat sports they barely changes the angle because people want to see the raw reaction of the fighter/player after a win or lose. However, in this match they always show a random zoomed angle instead of the wrestler, specially after a pin. Anyway, that is just my opinion as a fan of this sport but still just like I said, great great event. 💪
Great match! But you release an edited version with no visual for score??….any non-armwrestler watching isn’t going to know what’s going on
Bowen become one of my fave now👍
Congratulations
Pro panja set up and the stage is on another level, what a professional organisation
But these white people on the comments are saying that is the worst set up and the Indian reffs were cheating and being biased !!!!! I don't see any problem with the set up . One also wrote the set up is illegal , what??!!!!! Absolutely no idea why they have so many problems against anything related to India, it's kinda like these people get a kick out of painting us as bad , dishonest people.
Sadi ke jaisa laag raha tha
oh man, the reffing made it almost unwatchable and the bad commentator sound quality. but great arm fight. congratz to ryan for pulling this off. do we see coach ray vs ryan rematch?
That was wild.
Holy shit that was impressive
One of the few times I was rooting for Ryan.
Great battle 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Ryan- You see it, I know you do, you've gotta call it
Ref- no speak english
