The King's Move is primarily used when in a defensive position. The entire body drops below the table (except for the hand holding the peg and the elbow which must stay on the pad), straightening the arm almost completely. This essentially creates a bone lock, making it very difficult to pin a competitor. It often results in longer matches.

They need add the rule of if the shoulders drop below the table is an automatic loss. It doesn’t become arm wrestling at that point it’s basically hanging on another’s arm. After seeing the history of the kings move it seems as a desperation move that is very effective. Devon larrat has said he thinks it’s wrong to get rid of it and just be strong enough to counter it. Though it does seem like a rough technique sportsmanship wise
It's ugly and I don't like it, but... I don't think it should be banned. In a way, it's kind of interesting, adds some variety to a very static sport. I'm 99% sure Schoolboy would have beat the guy without it though. But I think it's likely in 4-5 years, he'll be strong enough to beat these guys with it.
Not all kings move are like this. Look at crazy George. If both shoulders stay above the table (that's the rules in some organizations) and the elbow stays on the pad, then its not bad.

Out of any sport I have ever watched, there is no sport that has more inconsistent officiating as world class arm wrestling. The league really needs to step up and do their best to circle the wagons on establishing a congruent standard to train the officials and remove the ones that fail the standards expected of them. It is only fair to the athletes. Not just about declaring a just victor, but preserving the health of the athlete as well. This sorely needs to be addressed!

He is literally under the table and could basically just lift his legs and hang on his arm and use his whole weight to push schoolboys arm down. You can't even properly pin him since his arm is straightened. Why can't the referees just say "stop doing that or you are out"

Several times the match was going his way or the other guy came from way behind and beat him. I really am rooting for him to go all the way, he’s got a lot of potential and time is on his side. He (Khaled) spent most of this match with his elbow 4 inches off the pad attempting kings. Leaves a bit of a bad taste (not his fault, but the refs let it go after the first foul for some reason).

What schoolboy does have is the knowledge of different techniques. I don't think Khaled knows that much technique, but his raw strength definitely got him through this one. If Khaled can get more training, then he can really be a monster.

Всë что я сейчас увидел,это как у парня отняли победу, Халед принял трусливую стойку под столом, чтобы измотать оппонента вися на его руке своей массой, так как знает что в один уровень стойки он не вывезет у Александра.Я считаю что такой способ должен быть исключительн из армрестлинга,так как выглядит это нелепо и нечестно.

I feel like the problem with Khaled is that he does not want to loose at all so that’s why he fully extends his arm and dips below the table. I noticed this from the beginning it’s the same in the very first video that he did with schoolboy

С судейством на KotT5 в этот кон была какая-то шляпа🎩. Из-за этого внятных итогов поединков не вышло. Им нужно что-то делать с судьями. Тут 05:10 Калед сидит с полностью прямой рукой, более того, она уже вообще в другую сторону начала выгибаться от Сашиного давления, а судьи в упор ничего не замечают. Что это за бред? То же самое было когда Виталик несколько раз прижал Чеффи к подушке, а ему вместо победы выписывали фолы за толчки (!), это просто абсурд.
Виталию выписали фолы за намеренное сталкивание чафи с подушки. Пересмотри этот момент. Там видно все
судейство реально ужас. Чаффи вообще последние раунды начинал сразу с упора в трицепс)

Лалетин там из раза в раз тянет за пальцы Дейва к подушке, а тот пытается уйти и фолит локтем, но фол дают Виталию за якобы толчок, а чуть позже в точно такой же ситуации дают уже Дейву за отрыв локтя. А потом Дейв вообще стартует с утерянной кистью с трицепса и судьи тоже этого будто не замечали. Печальное судейство подпортило впечатление((
@@skrestyaninov ну спорный момент - есть спорный момент. Если судьи решили дать фол Витали, значит была причина. У них же нет цели засудить его.
По поводу того, что Дейв в последних раундах разворачивал плечо- это да. Но по сути - это не было решающим фактором в его победе. Даже Виталя сказал, что Дейв боролся чисто. Виталя, действительно, выдохся уже к тому времени и шансов противостоять пресу чафи уже не было..
Но матч в любом случае был очень крутой!
@@CalisthenicsWithME да согласен. Сталкивание небыло. У Виталия длиннее рука но видно было что Дэйв специально тянул локоть в сторону потому что было множество предупреждений за это.
They should have a rule that if your arm goes straight (180 degrees), you lose. Same as if your hand hits the pad. It would still allow kings move as long as you can maintain some bend in your arm. It would eliminate the bs where you use your arm as a lever, locked upen, and you body weight below the table height.
Just be better, you can beat the kings move with superior technique it’s been done many times
Agreed. Fully extended arm and all of a sudden it’s now 100% wrist wrestling. Rules need to be changed.

yeah there should be new rules put iin place, in championship matches watching people with their arm not even bent anymore and just pulling trying to make sure hand doesn't touch the pad. It just looks silly not even arm wrestling anymore its like a game of tug of war. Maybe rule says you have to keep your arm bent and your shoulders above the table.

@@-Sober- Just common sense, this is arm wrestling, you put your elbow on the pad, arm up as you would expect. At this point its not even arm wrestling anymore when guys are evenly matched they start doing all sorts of weird stuff. Devon even made fun of the guy in one of his matches hey man come join me under the table. I never seen Devon go to that level.
