I've gotta note about Aaron Eisenberg. He REALLY loved his role on DS9 as Nog, the first Ferengi to become a Starfleet officer. After he passed, the show Star Trek: Discovery had a new ship show up. The Eisenberg class. In the video game Star Trek Online, they do winter holiday event every year where they give away a free ship to the players for basically just logging in. In 2021 it was the Eisenberg class. His character of Nog is still in the game, in various missions, and if you visit Deep Space Nine in the game, Nog is always there at Quarks, talking to Odo. Another character from DS9, played by the also passed Rene Auberjonois. Just to let folks know Aaron is VERY fondly remembered by all of us Star Trek geeks. May his memory always be a blessing.

I would say it's not pay to win, but it is pay to "space barbie". So long as you know how to build your ship and what abilities to equip, you can easily complete every mission and be good in co-op missions without ever spending a dime. If you want a specific ship from a show, a specific uniform for your captain from a show, then yeah you will need to spend some money, or grind for ages to make enough to trade for it in-game. At the very least I think every Trek fan who games should give it a try. If you love DS9, I'd absolutely say to play until you complete the "Gamma Quadrant Arc" which was basically a giant love letter to DS9. They got a lot of the cast to return to voice their characters. It's a little bittersweet now knowing that it's the last time Aaron and Rene got to play the characters, but damn did they get a good send-off. and sidenote since I'm aware this could sound like an ad. I'm in no way affiliated with the game or anyone involved in it. Just a geek who hopes more folks will enjoy stuff I enjoy.

Oh and there's a demon too And if the Lutz family still has some kind of ownership of the franchise rights, their made up story really worked out for them. 50+ entries in the franchise, that has to be a record. I'm willing to bet there is an Amityville: Bloodlines in there, they love using that subtitle. Edit: I did some "research" and since Amityville is a real place, the house is real and the events are historical public record, regardless of the specifics were true or not, there is no proprietary ownership of the story. Not in a nightmare way but always a little leery of those old toaster ovens and garbage disposals...especially in houses with creepy lamps. And no that wasn't a joke...

He had an illustrious career too, including Hitchcock's "Saboteur". Apparently the reason there are so many "Amityville" movies is that nobody copyrighted the original title, so you can pretty much make any movie and call it "The Amityville (whatever)" with impunity.
Since "Amityville" is the name of a real town, it's practically impossible to slap a trademark (you can't copyright a title) on that specific part of the name. "The Amityville Horror" is trademarked, but that wouldn't stop anyone from making a movie titled "Amityville Bigfoot".
jane Wyatt deserves a mention in all this. she has quite an IMDB page. she was one of the leads in 'father knows best' and the first actor to play Spock's mother in 'star trek' (o.k., I'm a star trek fan). she's also dead.

jane Wyatt deserves a mention in all this. she has quite an IMDB page. she was one of the leads in 'father knows best' and the first actor to play Spock's mother in 'star trek' (o.k., I'm a star trek fan). she's also dead.
