- Can you beat Dark Souls 2 using only the Bone Fist jump kick (one-handed running or backstep attack) while wearing the symbol of avarice? The Bone Fist has a really unique moveset and since the kick animation to stagger shield enemies was changed in this game, I suppose this is how you can do kick only Dark souls 2 challenge run

This was one of the runs of Dark Souls 2 I had the most fun with. Playing Dark Souls 2 as a D&D Monk first with Fists, then Caestus, then Vanquisher Seal and finaly Bone Fist.

I love that you can actually wear the symbol of avarice in ds2 and not have to worry too much about your health. In ds3, that thing ate away at your heath.
Yeah but on the other hand, that makes it feel a bit useless. I mean a mimic head run in DS3 feels like an actual challenge run. Whereas in DS2 it's more like a gimmick.
