The story of the Prince performance was really amazing! I'm pretty sure you can find a video talking about it, but here's what I remember of the story. The forecast for the day didn't expect rain, so for the brief moment that Prince was performing, it didn't start pouring rain until he started to play Purple Rain. Nature's timing there was perfect

There was a really great mini documentary vid by the NFL. It was a full on rainstorm and they weren't 100% sure Prince would be able to perform. They asked if he would be ok and he asked them if they could make it rain harder haha. The real props are to the backing dancers who performed on a wet slick surface wearing heeled boots though. Nothing about the performance should have worked, and Prince made it (imo) the best superbowl performance of all time.

vip5hawol, please don't minimize the reality of the claims against him. He was a brilliant creator and entertainer, but no matter what you believe, he did himself no favors in the way he consistently behaved with children, even in the very midst of allegations being leveled against him.
None of us know what happened for sure, so please don't speak as though we do. Regardless, I struggle a great deal with our capacity to overlook these kinds of issues because they make us uncomfortable, whether it has to do with celebrities or people we know personally. Too many children have suffered enormously when they speak the truth because of the disbelief of adults, so I feel the need to acknowledge that here.
      Thanks for your time.

I don't make excuses for anyone of course, but based on what I've seen the evidence of innocence far outweighs what was alleged. The reason why I'm saying YES PLEASE to you guys doing more reactions like these is because you're reacting to things I know about but never bothered checking out myself, and seeing you react to it makes me more curious about it. I'm not American and have zero interest in their sports (or any sports tbh), but of course I've known about their epic performances, I just haven't been bothered to check it out. It's like that with most of the things you react to, or it's you reacting to things I love and want you to share as well and it's a joy to have you react to what I like as well. So whatever you choose to react to, I'll love it. That's how it's been for every video on your channel so far, so I feel confident to say it will continue that way lol.

Thank you for your empathy and sensitivity surrounding the U2 performance. I remember it was somewhat polarising at the time, as not everyone liked the band and all that kind of thing, but generally everyone agreed it was good to try to return to a sense of normalcy and to, as you said, handle things in a way that both acknowledged how bad it was but also celebrated moving forward and the lives of those who survived it. Edit: I also appreciated your insights on how different cultures handle tragedy differently. Very good point to make. I enjoy watching your reaction videos, thank you for sharing with us!

Diana Ross is such a Diva... I swear that woman invented that phrase... hahaha Michael Jackson and Prince are both legends and both gone far too soon. We miss them so very much. I've seen Prince in concert numerous times and each time was greater than the next... Micheal was a showman and his shows sold out within minutes of the ticket sales so it was very hard to get a ticket... I only got to see him once in my lifetime. What U2 did for the victims of 911 was amazing... we were all grieving so terribly at the loss of so many beautiful souls all at once. Each building and each flight represented 86 countries as many who lived and worked in New York were from all around the world. So 911 touched many countries... it is the saddest day in US history and we still haven't fully recovered. Thank you for adding that one.

its so interesting and cool because I have always known about the Half time shows but seeing it from a non-American perspective shows how special things like this are! probably the same for Korean events that my friends think are so normal but I find fascinating! thank you for sharing your reaction to this :D

As for the performances, my faves were U2 (9/11 was very significant to me) & Prince (I always preferred him over MJ).
    Keep up the good work!

Interesting that you guys reacted to this, i kinda like the one with the red hat ( sorry don't know names) she was really getting into the songs. I've been skipping the halftime shows since 2007, but it is really cool to see others taking a look.

Yes to part 2 please! I have to admit I was crying during the U2 replay of their half time show. In my mind I flashed back to where I was when 9/11 was happening live. I think most American adults, that were alive at that time, remember where they were and what they were doing on 9/11 watching the events as they happened. Watching live on TV when the buildings collapsed was truly heart wrenching.

Even almost 19 years later, I well up at anything 9/11-related. I remember back in 2002, U2's performance was controversial. I'm glad you included it in your video. Thank you for being so sweet and kind in what you said about that horrendous day. As I said, it still brings so many of us to tears remembering the day, as if it is still so fresh in our hearts.
