Colorado MOTO ADVENTURE / 1 day 4 passes. Crazy Ophir Pass 😳

- Adventure Motorcycle camping journey at 73 years old continues into the rugged Colorado passes. Four passes on my loaded DR650 conquered. A Toyota Camry ventured into trouble on Ophir Pass blocking the trail making a very challenging climb more so. Stunning scenery throughout and camp at Animas Forks, high in the Rocky Mountains.
Correction: the pass name is Hurricane, not Hurrah which is in Utah. The drone shot credited to my Son @michaelcharliedelta. He rode the pass a week earlier on 800GS Adventure. See his COBDR on his channel.
So impressive! Your core strength, cardio, grip strength (got arm pump just watching the video), legs strength... and yes that dude on the GSA was killing it too! Ton of respect!
Did one with my boys. Loved it. I have some many places I would love to ride. May be awhile before I'm back there Lord willing.
JR & DR, dual sporting beast! Great job of riding those incredible mountain trails. When they look steep on the camera, they ARE steep. You captured beautiful video of the mountains in all their splendor. Just stunning. Video editing and music top notch. I'm stunned that people are that clueless driving their cars on those roads. Very impressive seeing you climb Ophir Pass from the West side. Congratulations JR on succeding this well known difficult Pass. You're a great inspiration for me to live more adventure on my motorcycle. I greatly appreciate your video for I plan to do the COBDR next summer. I think Ophir Pass will be my biggest challenge on that route. Just hope that the weather will be as good as you had with minimal traffic. Can't wait to see your next video with Brock Gill. All I can say is WOW ! You got the moxie sir , thanks for a stunning video , again . I will keep my thoughts on anyone attempting that pass on anything wider than a side by side to myself .

Huge respect on the Olphir pass! Brock drugged me down Olphir back in 2020 I had less than 50 miles experience on a dirt bike and it was the first day of riding in Colorado. Great times and some good memories.
I did Ophir in my Land Cruiser a couple years back. A few motos went down in front of me in the big scree. I was happy to get out and give them a push.
