I watch k dramas and they dont always use filters so you can see all their pores and flaws just like everyone else in the world. Sure some have smooth skin but most don't.

pores arent a flaw lol. its literally a sign your skin is alive and functioning. these beauty companies are picking perfectly fine parts of the human body, and hyper-fixating on them for no reason, gaslighting you into thinking you're ugly and buying the product.

Don't forget about filter, editing, lighting, make-up etc. I think Korean agencies will always use filters and do some editing to their idol's photos. Pores are normal, and some people have big pores because of their genetic condition. And of course, that's a normal thing!

You forgot to mention the Phenol Peals and Botox

I don't get this, what's wrong with pores? They are just there, it's part of our face!! Its not like it's something unhygienic

One of the biggest things to remember is that celebrities literally have teams of people who’s main goal is to make you look as good as possible when on camera

People always forget that these celebs are also just covered in makeup as well. Stuff like pore primers etc exist to create these effects

I used to think Koreans in general had better skin than me because of genetics, environment and access to skincare, but then I went to Korea and saw that it's just the same as everywhere. Celebrities use tons of make up and filters, so don't feel bad about pores, lines, wrinkles etc. :)

    Filter also 😅

  • @renarouge5558

Please. They have filters, makeup artists and access to great dermatologists.

Korea can keep their beauty standards to themselves ❤️ It's already bad enough where I'm at

Please Dont let the toxic beauty standards of this country ruin other people on the world

Just fyi for anyone who isn’t aware, the clay mask isn’t really making your skin soft and poreless, it’s just the fine clay dust essentially left over filling and smoothing over the surface and once your cleanse your face again it’ll go back to normal

I am an Md and dermatologist and i think all these products on the skin, even if the result is nice, are not healthy.

  • @DeathtotheAshes

Tretinoin helps regulate sebum which indirectly helps pores not seem as expanded.

Don't forget the bitter fact that we have skin texture and pores to breathe out of the shit on our skin. We don't have to be so obsessed but high maintenance for our goodness is a must. Just don't ruin yours if it feels not right for you. Love yourself, peace ✌️

Its also genetics and what kind of climate you live in. Im Korean whos never received any procedures on my skin, never been crazy about skincare (only moisturizer and sunscreen) and my pores are small and barely any wrinkles.

  • @MissXoLove

Pores are the holes your skin needs to breath and cycle naturally although there are reasons that pores may get bigger or scarred like picking at your skin harsh chemicals and smoking can enlarge your pores so there are ways to stop them from getting bigger its best just to let them be on your face

  • @armchaircouch

I used a rose clay on my face once and oh my goodness did it really help my pores on my nose area!

His eyes are very pretty ❤
