something i do is, after noticing your minimize setting, just disable sounds you don't need while the game is minimized, for example, i have system sounds on while minimized only so i know when queue is finished if i play DPS and want to watch something while waiting.
When I first first got up I just spent a while sitting at the top and looking around. And then a fc member sent a cryptic message calling everyone to the house for a challenge... to climb Kugane tower. So of caurse I just completely lost the ability to do it again for that day. Oh and I missed the lamp post when jumping down. I did eventualy manage the lamp post jump but it took enough tries I actualy got good enough to do the tower fairly consistenly... ish.
I spent so long attempting that tower...hours and hours and hours. Finally made it to the top once! I have not accomplished it again since. But I got the sightseeing point so that's all I need....except then I messed up the jump down to the lamppost. Gave it several more hours' attempt to get back up again....and then gave up, called a friend who's good at the tower, picked up BLU, and learned to explode myself.
You don't have to get all the way to the top to get the lamppost jump. There is a video on here showing a spot were you can use the Dancer dash to get the distance needed to land on the post. After failing that jump 3 times finding that video and learning I didn't have to go 100% to the top saved my sanity because F that jumping puzzle man.
