Oh, yeah! Thank you so much for your video! I was very delighted to hear some of your theories for this very fascinating legion. I appreciate your summaries and your thoughts on it.
Hello! This is my first video I've seen on your channel and I really liked it so I've subscribed. I really liked you asking for fan added content. I was coming up with a Homebrew Dynasty that really matches with the Thokt Dynasty. What I was thinking is that a Dynasty that is influenced by these bright, radiant stars inflience necron psyche. I posit that the Thokt Dynasty would use powerful and hard-hitting weapons. Burn bright and fast, just like the blue stars. So I figured they would use a lot of things like Destroyer cult units, Doomsday Arka, and Monoliths. They tend to bias towards the "all-or-nothing" type of viewpoint with extremely deadly but swingy weapons. In addition thank you very much for your video! Blue is also my favorite color and I thought the idea of being in a nebula or region with lots of blue stars is a very cool idea for a dynasty. Since there's not a lot of lore on the Thokt, i named mine the Thokk Dynasty, lol. I call their legion "Impending Oblivion."
It's really a shame there's nothing on them because the Tome Keepers White Dwarf chapter lore mentions briefly that they were in a long war with the Thokt. I'd love to see more of that fleshed out.
Oh! I forgot to add that I I have for my Homebrew Dynasty (the Thokt expanded) let the high levels of radiation from the blue stars has sort of fried the necron circuits a bit more than they expected. As a result, higher instances of Destroyer cults and even flayed ones than normal.
Forreal! Its really wild how in 8th edition there were around 7-8 dynasties with profiles and lore but in 9th edition so many of them were regulated to the "myriad dynasties" section. Including the Thokt! Such a shame.

Forreal, it really is a shame. There is a lot of potential for cool lore in that and for the Dynasty as a whole.

Really wish GW wouldn't have just kinda flushed the Thokt from the most recent edition. Love the core concept!
