Thanks you for sharing your adventure. Well done.
That is Hard Core Riding!!
Thank you for sharing your adventure. I’m armchairing it from Southern California.
Looks like a great bunch living life to the fullest!
What an awesome looking trip!
I have done a couple trips very similar to that, crossfox sleds, a bunch of WT’s or SWT’s, AO’s, and Coors Lights.
I think we have many of the same interests as well, I was the one who always took pictures and videos and turned them into movies. They all have copyrighted music so I don’t put them on UA-cam, but I have posted a couple on Facebook.
I am glad that there are people out there traveling like that. I am still making some trips but it is hard to get a gang all free at the same time, and takes a bit more planning and motivation.
Watching the ice you drove on makes me thankful for the nice solid ice we have around Kotzebue. Overflow and white outs can get people, but around here not usually any open water or real thin spots that are not predictable and few.
Happy trails man
With these tunes, people expect you to be twirling glow Stix.
Awesome footage!! Can’t wait for the next one.
Great trip
Great video and an awesome adventure. I like those expedition SE., good choice is snowmobiles.
Great trip, nice. My ass hurts just watching.
Great video/editing. Hi from Georgia Colin! Great to see some familiar country. Congratulations on a great adventure.
Ugh. That spring guide got me too. It didn’t break the bolt came out. The spring then got into the track window and cut right down the track. About 10 windows. Then I turned track backward and got it out. Tucked the spring inside of the rail and did another 200 miles to get home. I check that bolt often now
love your video nice riding with people that know how to ride and not breaking your sled to much I started on a nordic when I was 13i think and still on da same KIND OF ride got skandic wt 600 ho modified just enough I ride up north Quebec L"ABITIBI its call. around the reservoir GOUIN love it the go ice fishing for walley heaven guys take care ride safe the mountain MAN
Good ride guys! That looks like a heck of an adventure!
man what scenery.
I have seen those sprig guide break on same skidoos on other channels...dad design!!!
Those damn spring supports! I heard stories of it happening and first notice it happening on my 2021 Skandic WT. I was paranoid so I replaced them every year.
The 2020 Expedition LE that I upgraded to has a different part number for that spring support and I have noticed they do not wear as quickly as the old ones.
What a trip! Never having snowmachined can anyone explain why the sleds are always flat on snow as opposed to being on skis to reduce drag....I am sure there is a logical answer "center of gravity" etc.. Just would have thought on skis ...easier to pull , less effort and as such less fuel used? Great trip!
Uhmw plastic is very easy to pull and less likely to have issues when crossing water etc. less pounds per square inch on the surface of the snow works really well.
Awesome video
Really enjoy your video how much fuel did you all pack with you an how many miles did you put on I did a run something like what you all did my machine is a 600 ace I took 75 gallons we did 900 miles or 1500 Kim’s in 9days You can not beat good friends on a trip like that thanks for sharing brought back a lot of memories
Only had to carry an extra 20 or so to get to our stops.
That’s only 12 mpg. That’s not great. I though the 600 ace could get about 25 mpg.
@@LostCaper hauling those sleds you burn double the amount of fuel. I have seen som sleds burn over 10 mpg
This is nothing compared to what us Inuit go through up in Kuujjuaq Quebec, btw nice vid
Love to get up your way some day. I’ll keep practicing. Cheers and stay safe up there.
Are you guys all friends and do this every years? this is rare to find a group of guys willing to do this challenge. I am looking for an adventure like this for 2024 but its really hard to find experience group of guys that seem to get along and have a great adventure. Are you all open to more joining your adventure or are you mostly good friends keeping a low fun profile with just your friends?
you guys really rock and it looks like a dream trip that i would love to join if its duplicated next year
Groups over 4 are more rare
Awesome adventure! (added to favorites) I didn't see any northern lights footage.. That's it , Redo the trip.
Got a few new ones planned for this winter.👍🏻try to get some northern lights on those. Cheers
can you share the type brand of snow sled trailer s and hitch your using in the video..
www.airframesalaska.com/Northern-Sled-Works-s/1877.htm. Siglen sleds. Excellent sleds.
AUsome!
Great video! What trail did you ride from Tok back to Paxson?
Mentasta to Mankomen lake trail then just cross country.
Do.ypu guys carry a rifle when travelling in those parts?
No not really needed.
who made all those cargo sleds? bought or built? I know a guy...
Most are northern sled works
@@aksledshed1804 My dad used to make all the ones Compeau sold until 2012 (when he died)...those ones you have have some higher sides...than our old designs
What do you use for a winch setup?
We had one guy with a skidoo winch setup. Used it once and it was fantastic. I may get one for my new expedition this season.
