What size tank is that, and how many angels are in it?
55 gallon ... a lot of growouts
Question for you. I picked up 6 angelfish at the same time (around the same size) and one platinum angel is a huge bully. He only really bullies one other fish, but chases him under a rock. Any idea why this happens? Or if I can anything to keep them together?
Chances are the second fish is also a male and the dominant male is trying to get the sub dominant fish out of the tank - there’s very little chance they will get along - and as they mature the aggression also will increase
Hi, I originally purchased 6 angels as quarter sz. fish thinking that they would pair off. My tank was only 29 gallons, and as they grew, I had to separate them, and now I have had to put 2 of them in one tank, each with tank dividers . They all have 29 gallons tanks. I see you have many in 1 tank. How large is your tank? What should I do now to get a pair. I was not really seeing pairing, but I was not experienced. I did think I had a pair and then realized they were fighting because they were both laying eggs and then they fought and I separated them both. I can't figure out if I have males or females with the other 4. I see u are very experienced with angels and wondering what you would do?
Is it alright to breed a pair of angelfish in the same parents?
