I'm and MBA who love coding (self learning). So I resigned from my job, and started a tech business. Rise and fall and rise is a usual business stuff in the way. Now I have 4 developers and 5 staffs work with me. What I can say here is that I agree 100% with Brad about starting a SME. Good luck my friend. ❤️
I also love coding but I have not more experience?? But I have to start bussines in web development.. What can I do ?? Please suggest
I'm a BKM student I want to use my skills that I learned in class to earn some money to pay my tuition fees.

I just wanted to thank you for your effort in putting these videos out there. I know the last months might have been a little rough on you at a personal level, so I really appreciate the effort and I do hope that your personal things get only better. Thanks.
So glad to see you again. I love what you have done with your channel. Thank you for your hard work in making these videos and sharing this information. Thank you for being an inspiration to so many ❤
I am 32 with a wife and house and a supervisor at my job...but I want to be like Brad when I grow up.
I discovered your YT chanel last March. You gave me the inspiration to follow a post grad in web development. I first started as self taughted, then I went back to college (night classes).
I would like to thank you for such high quality of content. Your videos do not only teach us tech skills but also soft skills and all the different path that are available for us as web dev.
Thank you for your work and your dedication especially during this crazy context.
I was contemplating of whether I should start my own business as well; cheers for this video.
Your channel is like a One Stop Shop Brad- I can find everything in here- I have been looking for a video like this! Thank you!
This video is a good mix of general business startup ideas as well as some important IT client communication aspects. I want to start early next year, definitely going to follow this framework. Thanx a lot
Hi Brad, your content is worth equal to the MIT degree for us. Thank you for everything.

Great video Brad. You inspired me to create my own tutorial channel and now I'm posting a video every day. Thank you for being an inspiration and much love ❤️
great to see you back man all the best to your health, your channel helps a lot.
Good stuff, Brad!
Pricing - I used to own and operate another type of business that included a labor component. What I used to do is sit down and come up with a price that I thought this "project" is worth - for me to do and for the client (the fixed price). Then, I would also estimate how many hours it would take at a competitive rate. I would then compare the two as a sanity check. Sometimes they were close, sometimes not. The times they weren't close involved some more thought. I realize with web/app development we can reuse a lot of code and don't have to start from scratch every time - so this industry is a little different. The other component to this is competition. If you have a competitor offering the same thing for half, then you have some "selling" to do. I think it was the movie Boiler Room where it was said "Either you sell the client a reason to buy or they sell you the reason why they won't." Or, you just let the project go or figure out why you are double.
EDIT: Also - Look in to liability insurance for in case stuff hits the fan. It's something we don't want to think about, but we have to. Thankfully I never had to use it, but it was nice to know I had it. Also look into a personal umbrella policy over the top of the business insurance. When you are a LLC or S-Corp/C-Corp, you are supposed to be somewhat isolated from liability personally. And at minimum - always get enough coverage to cover your assets.
Always appreciate and love your contents !! Keep it going !!
I have nothing but million of thanks....

Brad should also teach us how to read minds of people, I mean he's a master at this...
haha..so true
Apart from being very good at JS, Brad knows "Brainfuck" very well, so reading the mind becomes very easier.
This is super helpful! I’ve been looking for something like this for a while. I’m 40 years old and trying to start a freelance web business, so thank you for this.

I miss this amazing Brad's videos... Thank you
Last week I was trying to figure out how to connect a contact form to firebase. I started watching a few videos from ppl wearing firebase shirts. I felt good about it at first, but they talk as if I should already know the info, they talk really fast, distract with useless sidebars that are jammed into place due to the rushed delivery. The whole things leaves me with a bunch of code that doesn't do anything. After growing a distaste for anything from firebase directly, I avoided them all and found Traversy Media. I watch 1 friggin video from you and boom...in like Flynn. That was the quickest I ever subscribed to someone. It's clear you care about ppl, and I appreciate the offering of knowledge that you put out there. Have a great day!
Thank you Brad!!
It's really helpful video
