Dragon's fury lag metagame refers to the fact that Dragon's fury can lag peoples games when they play on weaker PC everytime you shoot it
I am proof of tgis i had an old laptop and that gun killed my frames and even held a funeral of my frames
Bro I have a i7-7700hq when someone fires the dragon fury I go from 80 or so to 20
yeah i drop a frame everytime i shoot it
if i recall its due to making a dynamic lighting everytime the ball spawns. Why valve made this a thing it does, especially given the other flame throwers dont, is beyond me. It even makes it harder to aim because it flashes you every time you fire it.

The Diamondback hidden stat is a meme in TF2, the "hidden" stat is that every crit you have it will ALWAYS miss
I have a itch to add some explanations myself:
-Teletraping - more likely refers to placing entrance and exit on a steep slope, with exit being underneath entrance so that the teammate teleporting throug them gets trapped in the hitbox of the entrance and can't move.
-Hatism - its TF2's own version of sexism/racism, where players with more hats are believed to be superior to peaople with less/no hats.
-Enineer missing hitbox - I believe this one referes specifically to the fact that engies crotch doesn't have an hitbox, which was known and memed well before Shounic's video.
- 3D sprays - people used to (I don't know if they still can, but probably yes) make sprays that displayed different picture based upon how far from the spray was the viewer. So for example the spray could be showing naked woman from affar, but as you get closer to take a look it turns into scout laughting at you.
-Killing Sentries as Scout - sentries are Scout's hard counter so knowing how to kill them as him is pretty advanced knowledge.
-Taunting Israelis - most likely a comedic spin on the infamous "Dancing Israelis". Go check that out for yourself :)
-Building are players - its actually true. Beneath the spaghetti layer of code, building are counted as players, altought bot controlled. You can for example kick them from match if you acces to console commands. You can do it on your own server with sv_cheats 1 enabled.
-Mercs don't respawn - could also be an very old theory that Mercs are an army of clones, whose consciousness is being transferred to a new body after death.
-Robin Walker dopplegangers - valve employees steam accounts have access to OP unique weapons (search for "valve rocket launcher" for example) that they could use on any server. Robin Walker used to visit random servers and wreak havoc most of the all employees, back in the day. There's theory that many instances of him doing so was actually hackers getting access to these weapons and pretending to be Robin to not be suspiscious.
-Gmod snuff films - this has a lot to do with TF2 as the early gmod animators used TF2 Mercs models a lot in their movies, so they would naturally use them in this kind of movies too. Also, main point of some very old animations was brutally killing Mercs and other models, it was a trend almost.

The "Short Circuit Time Travel" one was about how back in the day, the Short Circuit made the entire server lag. Delfy made a few videos on it and it would cause people to go back to the original position they were at like two seconds ago, and would sometimes cause people to phase into the walls. At least I think so.
I think the australium wrench is talking about the golden wrench which could be obtained rarely with crafting. But people found out an exploit to always get it. And the teleporter cloning thing is about bread cloning.
I believe the Australium Wrench Trading circle refers to a joke about how for about 4ish years it and the aussy medi-gun wouldn't drop from mvm and traders would just sell it back and forth to each other.
Drunken_F00l managed to get THREE, got VAC banned for it, then had the ban removed when Valve hired them.

There are two administrators, depending on how you think of it. They say personalized lines based on what team you're on, like "we have taken the enemy intelligence". They could be two-sided/neutral though
There is only one administrator, she has just done this for years and theoritacally she has a voice command kit or set that allows her to speak to both red and blue at the same time
I believe at some point in one of the comics, it shows the administrator fiddling around with a console. I think her microphone was plugged into, say, the Red team's port and she said something like "alert, the enemy has captured our intelligence" and then she plugs it into the Blu team's port and says something like "we have taken the enemy's intelligence." One of the earlier comics if memory serves me correctly.

For general info: "Spaghetti code" is jargon to refer, rather than to malfunctioning code, to code that, even if functional, is so unnecessary convoluted it can be incredibly hard to update whenever a patch should be dropped, or tends to experience bugs after a patch in some other related parts of the program.
I think the "Railways connect all maps" thing is due to how a huge portion of TF'2 official maps have railways or tracks somewhere in them, in the background or otherwise (Well being the obvious example, along with maps like Freight, Steel and Badwater also being good ones too) and that they should logically all connect to each other in-lore.

This might be referring to an event that Steam held during the Winter season [forgot which year] in which people could get points called "coal" that they could horde for a chance at winning every steam game that was currently available or you could break your coal to get a random in game item for supported games. TF2 was one of these games that were supported during this event & the items given out through it are exceptionally rare with the rarest one being a sniper hat that only two people obtained.
(Someone's already probably done a better job at explaining this, but I felt like throwing out my poor attempt at an explanation.)
The hat for Sniper was called "Randolph The Blood-Nosed Caribou".

25:00 The Universal Strangifier DOES work with everything. There was once a bug that caused Strangifiers and Killstreak Kits obtained during a certain period of time to not be attributed to any item, and would just cause them to display nothing, and also be usable on any item, that's why you can find stuff like Killstreak hats on rare occassions.

@@mozambiquewithhopup1561 Killstreak cosmetics do not actually track anything, since you need to kill with the item for it to counts towards the killstreak. The killstreak on them only gives them value for a few people who like collecting rare glitched items.

the scout killing sentries is about sentries' being scout major weakness, however a skilled scout will be able to circle around the sentry while shooting it should an engineer not be nearby to repair it

the first time I ever played TF2 I joined a 2fort server that was nothing but A pose heavies and A pose scouts I was chased around the map it was terrifying.

I really dont know why it happens, but for the entry itself its probably referring as to how you could create a meta of lagging players out with it or something lol

About scout equipping his nail gun it's actually possible in the orange box version of tf2. In first person perspective it looks like the stock pistol but in 3rd person it has the model of the nail gun and fire rate as well as medics needles
Melee weapons in TF2 are hitscan weapons with short range, so a swing with it is technically a shot.
Solem Vow is a melee weapon, and also a head.
Each SV attack, therefore, is a head shot.
I think “cloaked spies are not invisible” refers to how it isnt technically invisibility, its really immersive “camoflauge”, explaining how if someone bumps into a cloaked spy, they become visible.

I'm pretty sure that the flying scouts one refers to a bug that was in the game where as a scout you could fly by equipping the atomizer, throwing the Mad milk and picking up another mad milk item while holding the attack button (I think, it was patched a while back so I don't remember it too much) While the bug was active scouts could basically jump in the air for as long and as much as they wanted while doing the default A-Pose and could at anytime return to normal by selecting their primary.
You just brought back me some repressed memories, I had totally forgot about it, and I used to do that all the time.

Teletraps were a thing where you could put a teleporter above the other on a slpoe, preferably the exit at the bottom, and the entrance at the top. Because both teleporters have collision for everyone, people who were unaware of them became stuck inside the teleporter entrance, unable to move.
It was mainly used to troll new players and perform silly trampolines using other players or amazing kills from the other side of the map as Engineer and other explosive classes.

I think the railways one might refer to the fact many maps have a freight train in the background or running through the map. Even 2fort has one(BLU side in a shed). It's almost always the same engine/livery which would imply the same railroad, hence railroad connecting all maps.

The Australian wrench trading ring might be a mistranslation of golden wrench trading, where people could manipulate crafting to get a golden wrench, a limited time item that came out before any of the Australian weapons
25:40 Source 1.5 refers to the current engine version of TF2, during the years the game has been updated along the source engine having numerous upgrades and revisions (Source Engine 2007 and 2013 are the most common you can find). The 1.5 simply means a more refined Source engine compared to standard "vanilla" original version.

I think it's a theory/trope/meme that's shared among all sci-fi works which contain teleporters in their universe. The most notorious one is Star Trek.
Dragons fury isn't bad it's just more agressivo e then supportive that's why there is a 200% airblas wait time and you can 1v1 a heavy and come out with half heath it seems pretty good to me
Interesting video, there are a lot of things in the lower levels of the iceberg that I’m hearing about for the first time, but I believe the two administrators one is referring to the theories revolving around The Administrator and Miss Pauling and that Miss Pauling is a younger clone of the Administrator. I’ll try to reply to this comment when I get some more solid proof. In the meantime I dropped a sub, looking forward to more content!

The flying scout one is relating to the bug that gives scout infinite double jumps. I don't remember how to do it, but it has to do with Scout throwing madmilk at himself, dying, then picking up the one he dropped or something

18:40 meet the scout is not a lie. i once looked more closely and realised that the bullets that are missing scout in the beginning are from a heavy, not a sentry. you can see that the bullets are firing too fast for the level 1 sentry seen in the scene before that, and you can hear a minigun firing, not a sentry.
i have no idea why valve decided to put the sentry bit there, because the sentry is not seen later.

16:32 I suspect that this is a joke by the iceberg creator referencing an incident that happened in 2001 when the thing that I can’t talk about happened at those towers that I can’t talk about. The actual incident has the same name as this entry, though with “taunting” replaced with “dancing”. The incident involved individuals from the country in question who were affiliated with the intelligence services of that country dancing when they saw what happened to the towers.

How do infected sprays work? If I turn off the setting to delete temp files after the game shuts off, that deletes all the user’s sprays that were imported from the community server. But I usually use VTFEdit to save some of those sprays for myself (mostly reaction images). But do some of these sprays had malware on them? Should I turn that setting off then?

While I will say the dragon's fury can be quite powerful, it's got an unreasonable amount of problems with it, mainly due to the numerous bugs like being unable to fire on stairs, the projectile not being able to shoot through enemy projectiles, the particle amount being astronomical meaning some PCs drop frames super hard and so on. If it were completely fixed I would definitely see it a lot more but as it stands, you're at a huge disadvantage when using it in most circumstances.

Just thinking of the "2Fort Blackboards" entry: I was looking at the blackboards in 2Fort while being told to defend the intel (they are in the "background" in the corner between the two enterances to the intel), from what I can decipher and from the appearence of the "background", I think it has something to do with ICBM launches; thinking of dustbowl. Though I rather think it has someing to do with the coding of projectiles ingame.

It's quite astonishing how archaic and frighteningly undocumented this game can be sometimes. There are so many interesting/creepy things that are never mentioned in any exterior sources and only a handful of people know about them.
I think the conspiracy about 2 administrators came up because of the fact that blu and red hear different voicelines of her in the same game. For example: The blu team fails and are told by the administrator that they failed. At the same time, the administrator also tells red that they won.
This was when I first watched Zealot, When he made his first short it was the end of actual content.
