Your music gets me everytime. I expect Ed Sheeran to start singing. With the X57, surely people will need upgraded engine internal for it to be anything reliable. It was good of him to be honest about that.
Great content....would like to have that one in my car. Too bad Pumaspeed sucks at customerservice. I mean no problem shopping with them, but when things go wrong, its a whole different world tbh 😖
I've got the 400r cooler and it's a great piece of kit for the money and works an absolute treat with my x47r and for the money I couldn't find another intercooler that would support the future x57 I want without it being considerably more expensive Oh and Jason did me a cracking deal on it and it arrived the next day So what was release date for the x57r
is the fueling for othe EU fiestas more robust than in the states? We are only able to reach about 280whp before the fuel system starts reaching its limits, this guy said they go up to 360.
There say u can run stock engines to 360hp but any higher then that there do say u need to to forged engine but I know someone that got the x57r and is running 383.3 bhp on stock engine and as long as u not constant on the throttle then it be fine with that power but only for road as u will never keep that amount off power down long enough but if u use it on track then there do say that u will need to turn the power down as a stock engine will not last.the x57rs u can use on stock engine but will low boost and that is also on stock engine
Bit late, but the x48 is probably the way to go, with bigger injectors you are looking at 360bhp, which is what i'm running and the engine is happy, i'm not planning to run this setup for too long though, probably another 30-40k km after which i'll swap in a build engine and a bigger turbo, because i'm not trusting this setup to last very long as is😅
We dont in the US my st makes 280+ wheel hp and torque prob 100 more than stock with an x37 full bolt on setup and i pay normal insurance rates i been paying since new. We dont add stuff like that to insurance over here i guess you could stuff like wheels and expensive body kits or something but for the most part theres really no reason and telling them you got an upgraded turbo would be kind of dumb not like insurance is gonna warrenty the turbo or something and youd just be letting them know your car is much faster than stock which would certainly raise the rates
This was brilliant. Definitely going to get an X47 myself now. Loved having him walk us through it all.
I like this guy, seems passionate and knows his stuff!
Cant believe this is 1 year ago, now its the fiesta turbo. Cant wait for it Steve. Stay awesome!
It was actually 2 yrs ago this. Thanks.
Another top video steve..trying to sort a new turbo for my 2.0 zetec conversion with no luck yet
Love these types of "tech talk" vids :-)
Love the videos, unbiased and no bullshit good work 👍
Very informative Steve 👍🏻 good watch
Great episode! 57R gets my vote!
Great vid mate, if I had the car I’d buy one from them. The chap knows his stuff 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I've got base X57 and standard engine is fine, R + RS needs forged
@@jameskennedy6771 I can vouch for you on that. I've got the base with injectors
5:36 a squeaky fart of excitement talking about boost there mate lol ;)
Nice video Steve, very interesting 😀

Tony moonlighting as a DHL driver with that jacket...

So what was release date for the x57r
i had to wait 18 months for turbotechnics to come up with a hybrid for the 1 litre fiesta. you've got to learn to be patient with modifying.
A slightly odd chap ... top notch sexism though!

Top man Tony
I think the term you're looking for is impeller.....
The man was acting crazy and he had a warrant. You need to watch the whole thing in context.
Mate has an 8 ball jacket 🧥🎱
so it is Not possible to run x57 (the normal one which make 360 hp) on Stock Engine ?
It is. it is the X57R that requires built engine and aux fuel system
Cleaver#351 I have the x57r with stock engine and still going well and I made 383.3hp on stock engine
@@x58evo2puma7 you running aux fuel?
So the 57 that will run 360 bhp will also be fine on the standard engine then Steve ?
I can't say I know the best answer for that to be honest. Hopefully a pumaspeed rep will see your comment and help
On Facebook they say you can run 57 on stock but recommend block mod or forging
There say u can run stock engines to 360hp but any higher then that there do say u need to to forged engine but I know someone that got the x57r and is running 383.3 bhp on stock engine and as long as u not constant on the throttle then it be fine with that power but only for road as u will never keep that amount off power down long enough but if u use it on track then there do say that u will need to turn the power down as a stock engine will not last.the x57rs u can use on stock engine but will low boost and that is also on stock engine
I wouldn’t run much more than 330hp without forging, just me tho

Even ya wife can drive it! lol
Wait until the SJW mob get hold of this lol
All these mods must bang up your insurance?
They would indeed.

Or get s280 from all other dealers
I don’t want to be number 2
But ya are, Blanche, ya are!
"big turbo".. 😂 😂😂
Well when your turbo is nearly the same displacement as the engine🤷🏻♂️😂
"340hp" after that dyno day with that guy that had that kit and didn't hit that, how did you not sigh right in front of him
Filmed this back in March. Long before dyno day.👍
i am number 1
Puma speed are so shit mapped my ST200 and blew my engine
You blew your own motor.
Yes I have the st200 and with 383hp and still going strong 💪
Doubt if the map blew your engine
