Cool light, just ordered the Plus version.
I do, however wish they would bring back the original obulb without the RGB mode. As it becomes avit annoying to toggle between colors when all I want is dim or bright light.

That's why I like the new pro S. You can go direct to the white light mode and adjust the level manual without passing through the other colored modes. It's a major win.

I’ve recently bought the Plus and while I do love it as a fixture desk/wall option for the kid/bathroom/baby, I really feel the actual button on the Pro S is better for me, as I usually carry it around in a bag. The Pro S is a bit more compact, which I prefer, plus if you handle it a lot or have it touching up against things in a bag, the lockout setting is better. I’m sure some love the app control thing and options are great, but all that stuff may as well not exist for my uses. Really great review, thanks a mil 🙏

I was very interested in getting one of these. I realized they’re not meant to be used while plugged in. Would be nice if it could be used as if it were a lamp that provided accent lighting, but seeing as I would constantly be having to recharge the darn thing…. Annoying.
Great thorough review! Does the new app still require you to have your location turned on in order to use it? The last app had it, and that was a no-go for me
Unfortunately it does, which I find weird that it even asks at all since location typically has nothing to do with proximity for the app to actually be used with the device. The app works up to about 30 ft or so. It's not like we can use it from the next town over. 🤣 If we could it would be justified but since it's not it's just creepy.

I want an obulb that functions just like the original one, but has more lumens and a longer runtime... I see pretty much no use to all the new functions, but it's nice

Wait until they dont charge anymore like the two I bought. Olight has yet to respond to my inquiry. 100 bucks down the drain 😢
I made a point to ask the Olight Facebook forum if others were having issues with their bulbs. Many said they are experiencing the same problem.
Does anyone else have trouble making the automation settings work on the Pro S? I set it all up but automated tasks just don't work

It didn't say it had any motion sensor capabilities in the manual for either light. So I'm assuming doesn't.

Can you toggle between colors by pressing down on them like the original ones? Or it has to be paired to the phone in order to use
