She says since she finally revealed it to her family, they called her a pathological liar and refused to believe her, despite Earl being convicted of first degree criminal sexual conduct. Her mother, DeeDee, says Earl is a great man, but Amanda's grandmother says DeeDee is in denial and “brainwashed” by her convicted felon husband. This mother should be chrged, go to trial, and be convicted for crime of failing her duty to protect. Its never too late, for this!!

Disgraceful mother. I know this is an older episode and I really hope that woman was able to heal through the trauma. She’s been through. That’s not easy. Especially with a horrible family who doesn’t believe you on top of it all.
Whether it was physical abuse by your mother or sexual abuse, you keep silent so the family will not be destroyed. You become a scapegoat for the family.
Her mom believed her first. Then Amanda lied to the cops.
This story gets worse, the mother having her daughter discuss what abuse is unacceptable with the abuser....wtf

Her stepfather but I’m guessing based off everything she’s said it sounds like he’s been in the picture since she was a child
regardless of if it was her biological father,or her stepfather,it is still the same amount of DISGUSTING,&& DISCONCERTING,either way!!!!!🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢
He adopted her when she was 5
I believe it’s her step father, but doesn’t really matter it’s still an adult abusing a child and none of the people she’s supposed to be able to rely on believing her.
