Anyone who disparages a parent has no right to be around those children. Her family is toxic and is creating chaos. I would let them have any access to my child. Seems to me, when they know they’ve done wrong, they call CPS because Mom set boundaries and they don’t like it.

Grandma is interfering with the relationship with child and father that is custodial interference which can mentally traumatize this child. She’s also guilty of parental alienation which is very damaging to a child. She needs to not be allowed to be around that boy.

This is my mother with my sister she made my sister so crazy she legitimately went crazy and has been institutionalized for it. The country bumpkin judge didn’t care what anyone said or how we explained what my mother done for years he still gave her custody of my niece to her and that was the day my sister gave up on life

My mother called CPS on 2 of my much older sisters. There was a lot of neglect & abuse. My mother had discussed with them, her concerns, they ignored. She struggled with what to do, she was hoping it would be a wake up call - this was 50 +years ago. The kids did get placed into foster care for several months. My sisters had to get their s**t together before regaining custody. They did & got their children back. My mother knew her relationships would probably suffer as a result. They did for a few years, but my sisters later came to her & acknowledged they needed a kick in the pants. While I could never imagine doing such, I certainly know it was truly out of fear for my mother to make that call.
No matter what this is a very unhealthy family and it sounds like they need to not be in each others lives.
I lived this drama- wound up having very limited contact with my mother & she died barely knowing 2 of my kids. They are grown & productive now.
