      @@GadgetryTech wholeheartedly agree.
      Without true criticism customers feel misled when discovering faults on there hard earned purchase.
      Also without that said critism brands wouldn't get the necessary feedback to know where to make changes and revisions and see how the unbiased masses will react to there brands.

    The gaming headset manufacturers show no respect for money by setting excessively high prices.

      Some stuff is overpriced. If you keep paying high prices manufacturer will increase the price even higher The consumer has control we lose control by paying what the manufacturer wants. There's no demand price will drop

    Price is steep for no simultaneous bluetooth, good luck selling very many. I understand the noise canceling is probably the best but that it. There is so much competition out there and more coming! Honestly at that price the mic better be at A50X quality! For me to buy a headset strictly for noise canceling, I would have to be in a gaming internet cafe for it to be worth it. All one has to do is start up a game and you can't hear what's going on in your house anyways, if they are closed backs with good pads. These would be more attractive at 100$ less. I'm waiting for audeze maxwell 2.0 with 70mm planar drivers and in a lite package 300-350g, I would be all over that! Only reason I returned them was because of the weight, I just can't wear those past 1hr before I'm annoyed by them.

    • @guybrushtwood
      @guybrushtwood 8 днів тому

      You are gonna be waiting a while for that Maxwell. You should’ve got the Capra Comfort Strap for the Maxwell. It literally turns them into one of the comfiest headphones around. It distributes the weight so well

    • @Amp_Edition
      @Amp_Edition 8 днів тому

      @guybrushtwood yeah, I can wait. I just dont want 500g sitting on my head, I don't want to notice them at all when playing. Anything more than 360g and I can notice them. I'm sure the strap helps though.

    Next wireless headset for me will have to be multi console compatible with a flip to mute or at least a mic you can push out of the way. Stealth Pro weren't comfortable for me and Mic wasn't good enough. Astro A50x was close but stupidly sold them. Perhaps they are my only option still? TB Stealth 700 Gen 3 maybe as long as clamp isn't crazy and I can get them sounding good with Eq?

    Best gaming headsets ive ever owned, and ive had quite a few.
    Epos Sennheiser gsp670, shame it ended up with distortion issues after a yr or so.
    Arctis nova pro, only disappointment was no balance, as im slightly deaf in one ear.
    Audeze Maxwell, still using those and no complaints so far.
    This is just my personal preference, happy gaming.

    Hi. Which headsets should I be looking at if the primary things I look for in a headset is a good microphone, game to chat mix, and good comfort while wearing glasses?
    My budget is up to about $200 but I might be able to stretch it to a little bit more if necessary but not much. I don’t care whether it is wired or wireless and I am only going to use it for playing on a PC.
    At the moment I am leaning towards the Steelseries Artics Nova 5X, but I would really like to get some inputs and suggestions.
    Also, I think I need to mention that I am from Denmark just in case it effects the prices of headsets in any way.

    This has to be one of the worst headsets I've ever seen on this channel. Almost $400, terrible mic quality for a late 2024 headset (especially at this price point), one of the ugliest looking frequency response graphs I've seen, bad mic foam cover and flip to mute function as well as no detachable mic, creaky and cheap feeling, no simultaneous bluetooth, no pc software/web-app, somewhat sensitive to interference, hiss with ANC that's almost as loud as PC fans... These would have all been "fine" at $189, NOT at $369 ($400 after tax).

  • @JukedByPowerback
    @JukedByPowerback 8 днів тому

    Is there a hard plastic nub that sticks out at all in the center of the earcups? I think it is some sort of ANC nub (like on the Nova Pro wireless). This was an issue with the wired version when I tried it, as it caused me pain by pressing on my ears.

  • @lawry1337
    @lawry1337 8 днів тому

    Love the anc + sound profile for tac shooters, esp. cs2 but damn the wireless performance, range especially, SUCKS. And yes I have updated the headset as well as the dongle, but leaving my
    room with it on just a tad bit -> disconnected, connected, disconnected - so I catch myself just leaving the headset on my desk when I wanna get up, cuz it's useless. might as well stay wired, they have to improve on that!! Cuz the same use cases worked fine in my small flat with both the cloud 2 wl, cloud 3 wl & stealth pro!

    Wait a minute, so the headset would be connected to my phone through bluetooth but it can only be used for configuring the headset and not receive calls or listen to music etc. What would happen if I get a call and want to switch to using bluetooth for taking that. How easy/hard would it be to disconnect from the dongle and back again? Nice review by the way :)

    Do people actually find 100db too low? Anything over ~80db for me is quite loud to my ears. Currently sitting at a cool 22/100 on windows volume on my beoplay portals 😅

    • @GadgetryTech
      @GadgetryTech  8 днів тому +1

      @@producerevan88 100 is crazy loud. But that’s firing a weapon in a first person shooter. With a more quiet mastered track, you lose at least 10dB or more at max volume. I only point this out because based on testing of other models in the past, some people find this peak lower depending on what they are listening to.

    369$. 369 US Dollars. Three hundred sixty nine bucks. For a headset that looks like it came as an extra with your budget PC you bought as a kid. Not to mention the weird creaking sounds, garbage NON-DETACHABLE microphone which has the worst mute system I've ever seen, only 35h battery life, and they aren't good for listening to music.
    Well, at least the case is cool I guess

    LMFAO 100% my terrible review and feedback to them caused the change to their cable. i chewed them out SO MUCH over the awful rough cable they included in the Aspire, it caused SOOO much vibrations and reverb up the cable into the headphones. was my #1 complain with them by far. glad they actually listened to my feedback and return and didnt stay stubborn and keep their heads in their ass etc and changed to a smooth cable with way less friction
