Nice ! Using IRT (but Studio) for funk and fusion music, works extremely well. Love that pedal friendly clean tone ! And crunch / lead tones are really impressive too, not agressive in a bad way, just cutting through the mix right where you need them to !

Yeah, it seems to be really good too ! I do not have the feeling of an absolutely different tone, you can really hear they're from the same family. Laney team just released a video like 17 minutes ago about this very amp, demoed by the very talented Lee Wrathe ! Go check it out, buddy !
The answer is semi-subjective. I mean, yes it will with most drummers, however if you have a drummer that pounds his drums like he or she is trying to awaken the dead and summon Satan, well that could prove to be a bit of a tall order for a 112 combo. Also thoughtful proximity between yourself and the drummer would prove to helpful as well.
That guy would sound good plugged into a tin can - you guys should send me one so i can show everyone what an average guitarist sounds like through one :)
I dont think lee is the right player for amp demos. Every amp sounds amazing when lee plays it and i want to know if its still so pretty when i play it :(
Apparently, you missed a considerable amount of the demo - 1:02 Clean tones on Tele 1:30 Funk on Tele 1:48 Jazz on Tele 2:11 Ambient on Tele 2:31 Blues (clean breakup tones) on Tele In other words, it seems you missed the part of the demo that showed the tones in the vast middle area where the amp shines.
You can also get a cheap headphone amp and plug it into the DI out. Just make sure you turn the CI off because you'll need the output to be single ended.

I own a Laney VC50 212 combo and a Laney GH50L with a Laney 412. Laney's are excellent amps
