This is the original script, unfortunately Leslie Nelson and George Lucas had a falling out mid shoot and so they had to find another actor in its place. Lucas swore that he'd never release footage of Nelson in star wars but that all went away once Disney bought the property in 2012.
That works so incredibly well. It's like the Star Wars spoof we never got. With Leslie Nielsen as bumbling rebel/stormtrooper who happens to get into all these scenes on accident. And that wouldn't been impossible. Mel Brooks did Spaceballs and Dracula: Dead and loving It, the latter also with Leslie Nielsen. So a Mel Brooks Star Wars spoof with Leslie Nielsen is at least plausible.
And funnily enough, it could have even been in the actual Naked Gun movies, seeing how ridiculous that driving scene was anyway! (I mean ridiculous in a positive way of course.)

Wow! The thumbnail looked good but this was way better than I expected. Great compositing and hilarious editing. Looks like you did a ton of manual rotoscoping too. Naked Gun fans will know that the trench clip at 0:20 isn't actually fake but is taken directly from the third movie! :-)
