From Rock to Ring!

  • In this one, I take you through the full process of making a ring: collecting the raw stone from the field, cutting the gems into cabochons, and setting the stone into a silver setting! Hopefully you find this process interesting or become inspired to try for yourself! I hope you enjoy, and I'll have another one out soon!

      Glad to help!😊 I just tried it out one day and was extremely pleasantly surprised that it worked! Refractory brick can be expensive, and I'm still only about a quarter of the way through the 13 dollar bag of plaster that I bought 5 years ago 😂

    the word is "hard flow" solder, meaning it takes more heat to melt it so it wont melt easy while we are doing more heating soldering.
