The one on 1:13 is the only one I found by my self, watched it 10 times already and can’t find rest of them I bet is something to do with your name or initials but I give up. I seen your video about your first ring ages ago this one seems very similar. I wish you made this 10 years ago when I was getting married. But I guess you were in to multi rotors (as we called drones) back then.
If there is one in the first 9 minutes besides the first one time stamped above, I'm going to declare myself legally blind... 😅 Update: 5th watch in, only found 3 so far. 🤣🙌
I literally said to my wife last night something about not having seen anything from your channel for a long time, I was going to make sure that UA-cam hadn't unsubscribed me or something like that. Awesome!
Holy smokes! A random email out of the blue from flite test after years of silence and an upload from David Windestal just hours later? Glad to know you're alive man!!
Dude wtf. I've followed you since flitetest and loved every single thing you've ever put out. How do you keep being so epic? Also, water jet those bad boys. Cleaner cut and even less waste.
Glad to see you're doing great! I enjoyed seeing you on FliteTest, and I have one of your Tri-copters sitting on my drone workbench. More success in your future endeavors!
It might be interesting for you to know, that if you heat copper up to 1000-1050°C for a couple of hours you can grow copper crystals, which you can see after etching with 40% FeCl3 for a little over half an hour. But there are two problems: The melting temperature of copper is 1085°C. The crystals get a lot smaller when machining.
I don't know how we ended up on a very similar path. but I went from flying model planes, to not having room to fly model planes, to making rings and jewelery and knives, and if you're also making knives and blacksmithing now... then I think that just means that model hobbies have a very clear trajectory to outer-space ring. (I mostly work with copper and silver, no space rocks yet) Very good stuff. Happy to see you on the feed!
Good to see you're still alive and kicking! Hope you and your family are doing well! I hope we get to see some more of your fun videos in the near future.
These rings are stunning! The patterns from the crystal formation are so cool. Love all the care that goes into making these. And the video is likewise amazing. Thanks for sharing!
It's Ironic that we've not seen a video for years, and now a video about something from many many years ago! - Love it!! Really, hoping to see more weekly posted vids again.
So Happy you're back!!! I was just thinking to myself the other day and i was wondering what happened to your videos!!! Welcome Back and the video doesn't disappoint !! Amazing one of a kind ring!!!!
10 min in and i finally took notice of who this video was by. OMG. I still have my original tricopter from the old days of David. Need to see more from you bro its been to long.
WOW!!! You are amazing!! So glad I found your channel. I’m in awe of your ingenuity. Thank you for sharing your talents with the world. We need more news like this. You are an Inspiration. Kathy
Hej David! I’m wearing one of your first meteor rings right now! 😃 It is getting a bit rusty but I still love it. And it seems you have advanced in your build technique and tools a lot 👍.
Some of the shaving could be turned into pins, earrings, bracelrt bits, so many ways to make sure we use it all. But I heard they rust easier that other metals? Is there any ideas to slow that down?
Hi David, to fix the silver lining you may use a rounded and polished pusher while turning the ring on the lathe. It may get a better fit than by just sanding away the excess material. You do this on both sides and the lining will stay where it is even in variant temperatures.
Amazing to see you turn to craft! I make pens for a living last 9 years and made a few rings over the years, for myself and my wife and few custom orders for friends. Tried bending a ring from thin meteorite slice - that's almost impossible, tiny internal cracks ruin it. Cudos for not drilling away cental piece like some people;) just maybe laser or waterjet it? You'd also have less shavings - more rings) That's what I'm planning to do when return to meteorite to update our wedding rings.
Maybe the offcut discs from the center of the rings can be hydraulically pressed into thinner, large enough diameter discs for further rings without destroying the crystal structure, it may also be possible to similarly punch out the centers, a local engineering works maybe?
Oh, man! I saw "new video by David Windestal" and I was like: Wait... THE David Windestal? so long no see (talking tri-copter age in my case). What a great video and super production! About a minute before the end I thought to include a 'my precious' mention in my comment, but of course you beat me to it 😁 Excellent content and wow!, those rings 🤩
Hi David, a big fan since your days at flightest. you inspired me to start with flying and building drones. its nice to see you are still active and make highly enjoyable videos. please keep it up. a fan
So nice to see your videos, David! I love your enthusiasm! I tried finding all the letters in the video, and I couldn’t. 😔 I watched the video 3 times.
Great, now I want one of these even more! I don't generally "get" jewellery, but I totally get these. It's so fricking cool to own something that insanely old and unique! Your craftsmanship is amazing too David. I'll keep saving... :)
Hey! I really enjoyed your video, thanks! How thick is the ring liner silver that you use? I unfortunately couldn‘t find any useful information online, so I thought I‘d ask a real pro😉 greetings from Austria
Considering how rare these rings are, I expected the price to be ten times as much as you are asking. You are practically giving them away! I could not find even a single letter in the video and I watched it several times...
when you do something you really do it ALL IN! and with this you cant be anything else then a viking ;) actually saw the Flitetest Planes-plane epiosode a week ago, and as a couple of the others here -I also have my 'david-tricopter' hanging on my wall at the office, reminds me all days a week of the 'good old days' :)
Nice to hear from you David! Totally awesome looking ring!!! Fascinating material to work with. But I gotta say that I watched this video two more times. And the only scattered letters I saw were the Q and maybe your website? But that’s too many letters. 🤷🏻♂️ Mind you! I was still getting distracted by the video and watching your craftsmanship in process. I hope you do a follow up video. Showing where these darned elusive winning letters are. Because I really want a chunk of that stuff! Or… could this be some sort of UA-cam algorithm trick that kicks in when people re-watch a video 🤔
It seems like I hid the letters a bit too well 😅 The first one is at 1:13
The "Q" at the end is not part of the 6 letters you need to find
come back to youtube, we have cookies.
Took me like 10 or 12 views to find them all, but definitely possible.

Does it matter if password is typed in Caps or small letters to win the meteorite piece?
When the world needed him most, he returned.
well said sir!
And then disappeared again!!
Watching this was like hanging out with an old friend that you haven’t seen in years. So glad you’re back!
My dog would bark his head off
Holy shit. First video in 2 years and I am here in the first 2 minutes. You still have that subscriber base David!
I literally said to my wife last night something about not having seen anything from your channel for a long time, I was going to make sure that UA-cam hadn't unsubscribed me or something like that. Awesome!
OMG I've missed you!

That's so cool, love to have a ring made from a meteorite. I have found several of meteorite s in the 5 months I have been looking for a fall

I love it how you detail the material dating method. Good to see you back here :)

You can hear the passion for the craft in his voice.

Been gone for 2 years and you come back like nothing happened.
I love your editing on this. I reallynwish I could afford one of these beautiful rings.
Im amazed it is older than the Earth. Another amazing thing is the rocket knife!!!!
So Happy you're back!!! I was just thinking to myself the other day and i was wondering what happened to your videos!!! Welcome Back and the video doesn't disappoint !! Amazing one of a kind ring!!!!
I literally visited your channel 2 days ago to see if I was unsubscribed for some reason. Welcome back! I love your new passion.
Amazing craftsmanship! Was not expecting this kind of video but it was really cool to see
We missed you! Glad you are still around!!!
10 min in and i finally took notice of who this video was by. OMG. I still have my original tricopter from the old days of David. Need to see more from you bro its been to long.
I keep seeing you in old flight test videos and was just thinking I really wished you'd make a new video!
WOW!!! You are amazing!! So glad I found your channel. I’m in awe of your ingenuity. Thank you for sharing your talents with the world. We need more news like this. You are an Inspiration. Kathy
These look amazing. Awesome work
OH HELL YEAH NEW VID
Btw, is RC tank battle Part 3 coming out? Or did the series just end with part 2?
Hej David! I’m wearing one of your first meteor rings right now! 😃 It is getting a bit rusty but I still love it. And it seems you have advanced in your build technique and tools a lot 👍.
There is no way I could be less interested. I am still a fan and it’s good to hear from you.

The craftsmanship that went into this I think this would be the only ring I’d ever wear
So THAT'S what you've been up to! Great to see you making content again!
Amazing. I'd love one, glad you're back.
Good to see you're still playing with fire 🔥
Hello from Beglium !
3:36 what do you do with the rest?
Maybe the offcut discs from the center of the rings can be hydraulically pressed into thinner, large enough diameter discs for further rings without destroying the crystal structure, it may also be possible to similarly punch out the centers, a local engineering works maybe?
So freaking awesome. I think about the first ring you made all the time, amd I’m so glad to see you back!
Hey Dave, it’s been a while, niiiiiiice to have you back. Those rings literally are out of this world 🌎 man. They are stunningly beautiful 🤩
Bout time, we missed you David
Rocket knife…

Meteorite rings!
Thanks for being a bright light David! Wonderful hearing your voice again!
Long time no see!
I think the tricopter needs to rescue one of these rings from the balloons in the forest!
Oh, man! I saw "new video by David Windestal" and I was like: Wait... THE David Windestal? so long no see (talking tri-copter age in my case).

Holy crap David! Long time buddy!!! So glad to see a new video
OK DANGIT! that video was incredible.
Ok also I've watched the video 5x and I can only find 3 letters.... those are hard! Btw, love that you used SMD solder for the silver joint.
The legend himself is BACK !!
Hello David, beautiful work and great to see that you are fine! Finally finished the Baby Tri and it flies great :)
Good to hear your voice, hope all is well in your world!
Did you put anything between the liner and the meteorite? Or is it just a press fit?
Where can I buy one pls
Hi David, a big fan since your days at flightest. you inspired me to start with flying and building drones. its nice to see you are still active and make highly enjoyable videos.
please keep it up.

@David, Vad är det för laser du har för att göra graveringen?
Where have you been? We’ve all missed you
Great to see you back David. Unreal concept. I watched the vid 3 times without seeing a letter. Anybody else had any luck?
Hey, just came here to say that your meteor ring is now 4,566,300,002 years old, now.
Haha. Great video David 👍👍🤙🤙
Funny...I thought Sauron's voice would be a little deeper than this. Really gorgeous ring and I'm glad you're back.
Amazing process and craftsmanship. The laser etcher is fascinating too.
Where did you get your torch from?
Wow! I’ve been wondering what you’ve been up to. This is really impressive! :)
Wow, TV-shop har verkligen lyft sej i skägget!
Excelllllllent Ring ! The Video work in this is ALSO Super GOOD !!! Thank You , Now I will check out your web site !
Awesome! How does it fly?
Hey! I really enjoyed your video, thanks! How thick is the ring liner silver that you use? I unfortunately couldn‘t find any useful information online, so I thought I‘d ask a real pro😉
greetings from Austria
Just a pinch of the lathe shavings would make my day😊
It’s hard to wrap your head around how old this metal/rock is….; very cool !
David!
Amazing work.
Next. shooting a slab of metallic meteor down a track and into a case of paint cans......
Considering how rare these rings are, I expected the price to be ten times as much as you are asking. You are practically giving them away! I could not find even a single letter in the video and I watched it several times...
literally remembered you a couple days ago, and then i saw 2 years of inactiviy...
wow how time passes
when you do something you really do it ALL IN! and with this you cant be anything else then a viking ;)
actually saw the Flitetest Planes-plane epiosode a week ago, and as a couple of the others here -I also have my 'david-tricopter' hanging on my wall at the office, reminds me all days a week of the 'good old days' :)
I have been waiting for a 1000 years for you to return
Question: Can it be plated to shield you from the nickel. Maybe ? electro plate?
Excellent ' way😢of making meterious metal ring. This is a matchless and unique art. Thank you
My future wedding band...
Awesome work David!!!
Realy awesome!
I am speechless...
Nice to see you back mate
Hell yeah. Glad to see you back. Wife and I want one each. His and hers.
We have missed you, welcome back!
Video! Great to see you here again.
Wow great job .beuatifull design brustifull .color ..like Antigo.
Thought about you from the flight test days and I had to track down your page! You should definitely be making more videos!
Put some fabric or clingrwrap on the ways of the lathe. Abrasive dust from sandpaper is destroying them fast
So good to see you again! It's David!
A David Windestal video! 😱 and a beautiful one at that! ❤️😍
That is a beautiful ring.
Do you have a website or way to get in touch with you?
Your back! Yahoo!!!!
Omg yes yes yes, David is back
Magnificent!
Nice to hear from you David! Totally awesome looking ring!!! Fascinating material to work with. But I gotta say that I watched this video two more times. Dude. I loved your videos in the past, but that realy blow my mind ! Thats by far the coolest Ring i ever saw ! 😍
who is also waiting for rc tank battle part 3?
Wait a minute. I'm sure I've seen this before.
It's a re-upload or a new edit. :)
