I love this random lore about Bob's being haunted since the very beginning before the fridge incident 😂 I hope they eventually did another live episode together, this time at a haunted place
You know, this actually happened to me one time! I think it was from a big-ass gust of wind that came through the attic vents and created a bit of suction, that pulled the attic access open. This doesn’t explain the bigger gap in the update pic, though, that’s probably from Crenfield
If they left it open the first time, it’s possible another gust of wind came through and just jostled it more. It would probably be even easier to do so since it was already slightly opened.
I mean, I look forward to the new stories about Bob and his newly haunted house. But the logical part of me was thinking it might be the air current from the AC unit? We have a similar hatch to the attic and its always shifting like that as well.
Our house has a similar thing! When high winds blow and all access points are closed, the attic becomes low pressure (cause it's connected to the outside fairly openly) and so it will suck the panel up and down repeatedly till it hits a weird angel
If Bob has a new house, does that mean he had to buy a new fridge too? Or stick with what's already there? Surely the legendary fridge has been left behind.
Nah, he left all the appliances behind. The funny part is that he was legally required to explain on the documents about how the fridge absolutely sucks and they still managed to get a buyer, lol.
@@gmaster2647I'm not american so I don't know if it's a rule, but are you not allowed to bring appliances from your old home into your new one even if you paid for it? Is it nowconsidered the property of who owns that house?
So I have a question. I've seen this comment a few times and is it normal for you to leave your fridge when you move? I live in Australia and my fridge has always come with me and I've personally never moved into a house with whitegoods already in it
I’m guessing the corner that’s most open is “falling” raising it’s opposite corner allowing you to see inside, might just need a new properly fitted hatch. Still a fun story though
air pressure. a new, modern house should have very good seals to contain the conditioned air. a windy day might add a low pressure zone in the attic that pushes the inside air into the attic, moving the attic door. Check if there has been a particularly windy day recently if you noticed it's moved (yes i know i'm late to add a comment I just had to write this)
Reminds me of the story of a family who found out their neighbor was getting into their house at night (using a plank if I remember correctly, to get between his house and theirs) in order to spy on the wife and kids. There have also been many stories of people finding out random squatters have been living in their homes for months and they never left a trace. It happens, and that's terrifying. I would honestly keep a very close eye on things (maybe even install a camera or two just in case).
see the good part about living in Australia is that our attic gets hot enough to cook birds (yes this has happened before, they make nests in spring and cook in summer) so I know there is no one living up there
It’s probably just pressure that creates a puff of air that lifts the tile whenever a door opens. Our ceiling did that all the time so we have to be careful about closing the door too fast.
it's actually pressure from the expanding air from the heat popping to get out, opening it. it's heavily documented as that hole is the only way for air to get in or out in most houses
Perhaps some kind of tremor could have moved the attic door? My house is near a sand and gravel pit where blast mining regularly occurs, and those explosions are big. The house is solidly about a kilometer from the blast mining and the state I live in is not frequented by natural earthquakes, but when these detonations happen, the house can be felt shuddering, I can visibly see the motion. I think activity like that could easily cause an attic door like that to move in that same way if it hit just right. Either that or it's just Crenfield.
Careful about squatters, we thought my old house was haunted or has a squatter in the attic because the closet door that lead to the hatch would be open in the middle of the night even after we closed it firmly.
this could be one of three things: a/an squatter(s), animal(s) or ghostie-goos. they should find a way to access the attic to check for either remnants of someone living up there, or to check for nests and other evidence of animals coming in to roost
I've heard countless stories (no idea which are real and which are not) but a lot of times squatters (Homeless people, usually) either hide in the attic or crawlspace or a home and will come out at night to get food or water. I'd suggest installing a camera in the garage or at least locking the door into the garage if you don't already. Also, check the fridge in the morning. See if there's anything missing or out of place. If anything else with that attic door occurs, and I mean ever; I'd suggest calling your local PD or Sheriff's to come take a look.
We had one of those hatches in our carport but it was bigger. I saw it was open once when it hadn't been that morning, actually had the police come take a look. That carport has since been closed off and converted to a new room but not for the reason
Reminds me of how we were haunted for multiple years. Though I personally didn't experience any hauntings other than unreasonable feelings of fear or feelings of being watched during the night, apparently the ghost would touch my parents shoulders, grab at my brothers back, and cause spine chills and horrible feelings to them. Eventually my Mum got annoyed and told the ghost to go away and it hasnt returned since. Personally I'm skeptical, but they dont really have a reason to lie to me and my other brother for multiple years.
Okay so devils advocate here - my interpretations of those pictures and seeing the progression between the two, it looks like the tile is just tilting out of the hole in the ceiling, not necessarily lifted and turned askew... as if the hole or board has warped over time, possibly due to water or the house just aging, and its just tilting on it's axis. For further explanation of what I'm seeing, when looking at the second photo you were sent, the top right corner appears as if it's closer to the ground, while the bottom left corner appears to be elevated higher than the others - of course this is all from photos and the perspective of seeing it in person could completely debunk my theory, but I wanted to throw in my two cents because to me it looks like that board may eventually fall and could possibly seriously harm someone below or any property stored below, so I would feel terrible if I didn't say something - by all means prove me wrong, I am obsessed with the supernatural and the possibility of ghosts, but as there's the possibility of someone being injured I wanted to speak up just in case - absolutely love the content though gusy! I hope you all are doing well and are happy :-)
I'm at 2:04, which is just after Mark's description for audio-only-viewers. THIS HAPPENED TO ME. My bedroom has the only attic access in the house. It's just a square hole with a slightly bigger flat and square piece of wood (which looks just like the ceiling but recessed up into the ceiling just a bit, pretty much exactly like the pic Bob showed) I came home from work one night to find that panel off-kilter slightly, looking like someone had hurriedly closed it and left it off-kilter slightly. Exactly like the pic Bob showed! Freaked me RIGHT out. I was always sure our house was haunted and HERE WAS THE PROOF. But it's my bedroom, what am I gonna do?? Right? So now I just lived on high alert for a good long while..... until one day it was really windy. My window in my room faces the direction where the wind is always blowing. And, after a particularly strong gust of wind, that attic access thing went *FLUMP* I nearly had a heart attack, then started watching it like a hawk. Then another gust of wind and it happened again! Turns out, in my case, the wind blew against my window and the air pressure increase caused the door thing to pop up and open like a cork for a champagne bottle. Still scared me, but now at least I understand it lol
There are so many horror stories of people finding their food missing or stuff moved around and finding out someone is livin in the attic or a crawl space in the walls so if this isn't bs i would definitely check for someone set up a camera that's usually how they catch em lol
In all seriousness check for an animal (or person) like they will find a way and if it’s an animal sometimes they can like slowly scratch into stuff like insulation or drywall… not too big of a deal but like if it’s close to your roof it can lead to leaks.. two bird got into our house roof and eventually died but it did peck into the wood and other places a bit and next thing we knew there was a bit of a water stain
With the amount of stories ive heard of people living in other people's attics secretly and whatever, they should get it checked and make sure that no one is actually living up there.
The fact that the Distractible video recommended below this one is titled "this house has a sexy secret" with Bob shirtless holding an S&M whip feels oddly fitting.
Fun fact: In the US there is a haunted house clause that states that a house that has a ghost in it or has had a ghost in it actually depreciates in value meaning Bob can get some sort of compensation from the realtor for not bringing it up before hand.
Ghosts don't exist my dude. And "haunted house clause" isn't a thing. -.- My family have been real estate agents for years, in fact you don't have to disclose anything involving death or murder let alone "paranormal" when selling a house...

Good seal on the garage, every time you close the door the air rushes out the only exit, in the roof vents. Blows air through the only escape, and pops the door up. You ever wanna hear a ghost story, I have two personal experiences
Fun aside, I doubt a person would be dumb enough to leave it that obviously disheveled, I can imagine a creature following the light is attempting to escape and that final picture has it teetering on Corners so it could have escaped through the lower corner and it's see-saw'ed back into that position... Call an exterminator.
It's called a racoon, Bob. Wade seriously underestimates the intelligence of racoons, they're very capable of opening an attic hatch, Bob, check the attic for droppings.
Raccoons! Squirrels!!! RATS!!!!!!!!!!!! Runaways! ALIENS!!!!!!!! GHOSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Phasmophobia IRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What could be in Bob's attic??
Well, this is pretty easy to explain. The attic should have a vent to let out heat. If there are any open windows downstairs or when a door is opened a wind gust could rather easily pop that up.
The wind from the roof of the garage can move the hatch we have one in our hallway and the wind blows that hatch open all the time. Same thing of a push up snd raise up the panel all you have to do is weight the panel somehow like we attached a small plank of wood to ours.
Mark and Ethan should do another paranormal investigation in Bob's house

So now I just lived on high alert for a good long while..... until one day it was really windy. My window in my room faces the direction where the wind is always blowing. And, after a particularly strong gust of wind, that attic access thing went *FLUMP*
I nearly had a heart attack, then started watching it like a hawk. Then another gust of wind and it happened again!
Turns out, in my case, the wind blew against my window and the air pressure increase caused the door thing to pop up and open like a cork for a champagne bottle.
Still scared me, but now at least I understand it lol
The garage has a drafty attic and the difference in air pressure is rattling and moving the hatch.
the new Phasmophobia map, *Bob's house*
Omg marks face at 1:11 is hilarious
Giving "Hello?" energy
When the hatch fully opens the demon comes out and kills you. You're forever cursed to keep closing it
I love how they can joke about everything like a ghost
I had a attic cover suck up into my attic when a very small and dying tornado past over my home breaking some limbs.
Ghost just chilling with the ultrakill hud "something bobby this way comes"
We need a series of Bob's New Haunted House Updates now lmfao
AWESOME joke Wade!! You deserve 20 points!
I have listened to every single Distractible episode literally 10 times over, I'm not kidding, somebody please help me
Am I the only one who gets anxious seeing Mark's boar spear propped up like that?
It's gonna warp over time! You gotta lay it flat!
That guy even followed the married couple to different houses. It really was quite the crazy situation
Don’t forget that he murdered the husband, too!
I don't think Wade should have lost points for his pun... That was cruel, Mark.
5:30
Don't Worry Wade, I Liked It. 👍
Bob about to become the subject of a true crime podcast.
I appreciate that they are posting clips that are very visual on the channel
What are the chances that Mandy's parents are messing with them?
if they are listening to the podcast then yes it could be possible.
If they didn’t reset it after the first incident, I wonder if it just fell more open over time. That first opening though… that I don’t know.
4:15 OMG I know the story Mark is talking about!! It was covered in one of MrBallen's stories in his channel!!
There are so many horror stories of people finding their food missing or stuff moved around and finding out someone is livin in the attic or a crawl space in the walls so if this isn't bs i would definitely check for someone set up a camera that's usually how they catch em lol
How hard did they close the door when they left? Probably just air pressure.
Bob get some blink cameras in there! In the attic too!
I think that's when you put up a lil Ring camera to see what's going on
Bob moves back to Ohio and is already counting on the days to leave 😂
Time to turn Bobs new house into a phasmophobia map
@@ericaallisonc So then explain the Black hope curse where a whole housing area was built on graveyard full of Black slaves?. yes It a real fucking law ya troll.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stambovsky_v._Ackley
Bob when you get there just press B to blow
We’re all laughing but I’m sitting here with second hand anxiety because WTF?! That’s so unsettling. I’m calling the fucking police to check the house. I’ve seen this horror movie and I know what happens 😤😤
"I can see the latency!" Oddly hilarious line.
Lol, this actually happened to me at my mom's old house. Turns out there was a family of possums living in the house and were trying to get into the garage
Phasmaphobia investigation 😂
Attic goblin bull was not what I was expecting.
This reminds me of that time when I was a kid and I went to on a school trip and our cabin had an attic and one day we came back and the lid had been moved just like that.
Dang! There's nothing but Bob's experience with haunted stuff in here 🤣
Good seal on the garage, every time you close the door the air rushes out the only exit, in the roof vents.
Next Distractable Upload:Bob’s Fridge is Haunted
The biggest question is how is Bob getting his fridge to his home in Ohio
It is time for Bob, Wade, and Mark to go ghost hunting.
Call Jack.
Bob you have a Lixian doll, it's so cute.
Time for "Haunted man".
Good thing Wade started his paranormal channel. Can investigate the strange occurrence in Bob's place. Lol kidding
Well, this is pretty easy to explain.
The attic should have a vent to let out heat. If there are any open windows downstairs or when a door is opened a wind gust could rather easily pop that up.
Then why is it opening more and why didn't it open before?
The wind from the roof of the garage can move the hatch we have one in our hallway and the wind blows that hatch open all the time. Same thing of a push up snd raise up the panel all you have to do is weight the panel somehow like we attached a small plank of wood to ours.
