As an American we admire this unbelievable history taking place in front of us. It's a once in a lifetime event. Perhaps what amazes me the most is the utter seriousness and dedication the British people and the Commonwealth countries are now dedicating their allegiance to their "liege lord". It's amazing and somehow fascinating that such things as monarchs do and can exist in the age we live in. King Charles III is indeed blessed.
I feel the same, given how far our country has fallen yet their traditions are not yet bastardized by politics, trolling, classlessness. I once, as an American, felt a lot of distain and disgust for the monarchy we separated ourselves from but things are different now, seeing it all in front of me, history being played out. I'm sad to announce that we as Americans have killed off whatever sacredness we once had. We relied on democracy and Constitution-based traditions to give us identity, but we have attacked them. I now feel this affinity for these monarchical traditions that invoke God and such continuity. The Brits and Commonwealth are doing fantastically with this hard transition and taking it in spades, that's what's the most impressive to me. Americans can't accept anything anymore, the Brits are still going strong.
