Hi, I'm here to explain German Pokémon names. And this one is really easy. Indeedees German name is "Servol", which comes from "Sehr wohl", which is literally means "Very well". The "Serv-" may also pull from "servil" (or servile im English), which basically means "subserviant".
And that's it, I guess. As always, thanks for reading and until next time! ^^

I'll follow-up with the french name, then! Indeedee's french name is "Wimessir", based on the words "Oui, Messire", which is simply our version of "Yes, sir". Nothing really complicated, working on the same wordplay as the japanese name.

    Regarding the separate gender moveset.
I believe Meowstic was the first Pokémon to have different moves based on gender. While the males would learn more defensive moves on level up, the females would learn more offensive moves upon level up instead.
Example: Male’s learn charm at level 15, but Females learn charge beam at level 15 instead

Actually both Audino and Indeedee were created by the same designer Saya Tsuruta.
YES BOTH (with Goodra, Goomy, Aromatisse and Galvantula)
So that theory could be true. But the difference was so big that it doesn't work as regional variant anymore and convergent evolution for closely related mammals wouldn't work either.

Something that's pretty interesting regarding the 'theatre is for the high-class' point is that the UK especially didn't really go for that, especially when Shakespeare was writing - while theatres like the Globe definitely had seating for the rich, there was also floor space for the poor called 'groundlings'. I’m currently working on a side-project when I’m bored during school (or when I have free time) and learning about the relationships between Pokémon and the like really helps me further develop my region. So far I only have around 24 Pokémon somewhat designed, and some are still just concepts, so.. The region is based off of nothing in particular, except maybe Ancient Greece, I’m not sure yet. Right now im worried that my bias towards certain types of Pokémon will make it so that the type distribution is wonky. (Ex: right now I have 0 Poison, Ground, and Dragon types, mostly because I’ve only started working on the first route area and have basically just entered a ‘cave’ with my Rock-type Porygon line of convergent evos) the region itself is currently called Gardius, if you’re curious. I won’t really post it online minus talking about it for a bit, maybe when it’s done I’ll share it?? Anyways, thanks for going into Pokémon relationships and detail, and showing me how connected it can really be.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but Indeedee is the most pokemon design of all pokemons since SnM.

Indeedee is kind of underrated, imo. They're both cute and pretty good battlers.

1:02 I thought male and female Meowstic had different move pools, with males more defensive and females more offensive.

that king blahblahblah thingy was kind of funny even if I could barely figure out what he was saying. :) So, Lockstin, do you think you can make a video on Hoopa, Arceus, the Alolan starters, and Koraidon and Miraidon? Thanks!

I'm surprised how unpopular Indeedee is, especially the females. You'd think the cultured community would be crazy for a smol maid...

I will say that in Shakespeare's time theatre was for EVERYBODY, it was not a solely high-class form of entertainment. In fact, due to low literacy rates, it was one of the few forms of entertainment available at all!

Always did get satyr vibes from Indeedee, but never really thought too much about them beyond that and the servant thing. Guess I should read more Shakespeare.
