When Kirk gets in the turbo lift and orders "bridge", he communicates with Spock and thinks he has things under control. So he tells Spock "I'll change first, then." And diverts to go to his quarters first. I still say that the "one minute" in the trailer was meant to be used with Sulu. Listening carefully and you will "we grant you" is spliced together with " one minute". Simply the trailer's way to make things seem more dangerous and urgent than they happen to be in the final episode.

You beat me to it! I remember that conversation well, because it shows that "Captain's Quarters" is in the Turbolift's list of destinations - an odd choice of priorities by the programmer! 😁😁

Agreed. That's not a blooper. Makes perfect sense for Kirk to change his destination once he learns that there is no immediate threat. I've never noticed the other bloopers.

      I think,this work’s for me,here!Sometime’s,I don’t even spot the blooper’s.Unless,I go to;a blooper page in the first place?The blooper’s show:‘we’re human’,and also like a sense of humor,too!

I've not spotted that McCoy transporter gaff before!
I think I will just add it to the pile of evidence that people can in fact move around during transport 😉

I always wondered about that, "I knew he would", line. Never made sense. Great explanation, thanks!

Apparently, Shatner loves to walk around with an oiled up torso. Lol!

3:10 My mental gymnastics here to justify the line led to the possibility that Spock was talking about the individual orbs on the Fesarius as being a mile in diameter, but for some reason forgot to mention that part or just assumed Kirk would know that's what he was talking about.

That close up shot of the monitor it's probably a stock shot that they just insert a new video in the middle of. Instead of keep having to set up a close up shot each time. Though honestly it probably is the same monitor they move around from set to set like the chairs.

I believe the stock monitor shot for compositing is the most likely explanation for those two shots. But I have never considered before the likelihood that they may have moved them around. In fact, the more I think about it - I would bet they only had maybe two that they would move around. They would need two in case one broke at the last minute. But they really didn't need more, did they?

After Balok (BAY-LOCK) makes his announcement, McCoy comes to the bridge and says the alien's name incorrectly.

I am told that the Red Shirt in the corridor where you pointed out the sleeve rank issue is Jonathan Goldsmith who later became "The Most Interesting Man in the World" from the XX Lager Beer commercials. Could you looked deeper into this?

Hi there! Actually, the actor has publicly denied he was on Star Trek twice in the past 10 years or so. However, the rumour started when he was included as a cast member in the 1995 version of the Star Trek Concordance. It got in the Concordance due to his name being listed on a call sheet for the episode. He auditioned for Bailey, but lost the role. Somehow, they left his name on the call sheet.

At 3:00 , Starfleet is based in the US (San Francisco), right? The US has never used imperial units, which share the same names but most of which are significantly different in their amounts.
Love your stuff and want to make sure the accuracy of your videos isn’t diminished by this confusing misconception.
    For example:
    US Pint: 473 ml
    UK Pint: 568 ml

Hi there! Actually, I just learned something that I never knew! The US and UK have different values when referring to volume measures in the Imperial system. That’s crazy! But not without precedent. Actually, we do use the Imperial system in the US. It’s officially referenced to by the ANSI folks as the “US Customary System”. Because we adopted it in 1824, It features the same values as the British Imperial system, which the exception of volume (ounce, pint, quart, gallo). In the US, it is still simply referred to as “Imperial” because most people have never even heard of “US Customary” since it is taught in schools as” Imperial". However - I love comments like this because the conversation breeds curiosity, which then turns to learning. At least for me, anyway.

@@TREK-WORLD Glad you liked the comment and learned something. I do need to be pedantic to teach you the importance of the distinctions, however, which are confusing enough that most US citizens think your entire statement is correct:
The US has never used the Imperial system, period. The Imperial system was a “fix” to the complex English units that both the US and the UK used until 1826. The US never adjusted our units to match Imperial units. Instead, on July 1, 1959, six countries (the Five Eyes plus South Africa) created the International Yard and Pound).
So no, the United States does not use Imperial units for anything. Those six countries agreed to adopt the identical definition for the yard and pound (and thus every measures derived from them), but the internal yard and pound are not the Imperial Units.
Many outside the US are crystal clear on the differences. I once had a housemate that was from France. I asked him if he preferred the standard French beer glass (500 ml), a US pint, or a UK pint. He looked at me like I was clinically insane and then with a smile on his face, said UK Pint always!!!
