- Power-scaling the FNAF World characters since apparently I've got nothing better to do and I'm stuck in 2016. I love this game TOO MUCH man!!
Edit: The opinions in this video are expired and invalid. My thoughts on some characters have changed massively. Does that mean I’m going to make a new list with my current opinions? Hell no, I’m not doing this shit ever again!

I probably should have added the obligatory disclaimer at the beginning of the video, but here it is as a pinned comment. Obviously, these are just my opinions, and they’re not going to match yours, and the way I play the game is probably not gonna be the same way you play. Forty characters is a lot to rank individually. Of course it isn’t perfect, and some of the placements are going to seem scuffed. So don’t complain that “Mangle is too high” or “Phantom Freddy is actually good”. Well, I guess you’re going to anyway.
The only character on the list I’m apologizing for is Golden Freddy. I did him way too dirty with 35th place. I’d bump him up to somewhere low to mid B tier.

while i understand these are your opinions, golden freddy is genuinely the best support character in the game, and allows you to complete the entire game pre update 2 content without giftbox abuse
I'm pretty sure everyone knows this list is subjective, but when a character you like is ranked low, or vice versa, it just kinda feels right, to say how you feel about it
I think withered freddy is worse than toy freddy, esc key is much worse than speed song which is the onpy thing withered has over toy
Fredbear definitely drops the ball for how hard he is to find. Hismonly Redeeming factor is the funny Universe ending, which I always liked myself.

Funtime Foxy is a staple of any team build i use in this game, and seeing them get the love they deserve is heartwarming to say the least.
Status moves are actually really viable if you apply them correctly. And golden freddy specifically with his haunting and rainy day 2 can steamroll. He and Shadow Bonnie basically carried me in the scott fight.
I highly disagree with the constant dunking on Status Affects. They've saved my ass plenty of times, especially Gloom Song/Gloom Balloon.

also i completely disagree with you on stat lowering attacks. They seemed extremely useful during my playthrough but I'm not that good at this game so maybe im just wrong
@@IbnMesud I mean, sure they can be somewhat handy early game. I guess Phanton Freddy really ruined any good impressions I had about a few of the other phantom characters. Fun fact: Phantom Freddy is the only character in the entire game which is incapable of killing enemies.

@@CDLune_VAoh just remembered the Crying Child is a third character who can't kill on his/her own.
What!? Golden Freddy is 35!? Haunting can stun bosses for so long (having Mimic Ball while using Haunting helps with the whole random chance to miss thing by A LOT) and rainy day 2 is the only debuffing move in the entire game that also deals DAMAGE. The damage of Rainy Day 2 also surprisingly scales VERY well with Golden Freddy's level too iirc so the damage output of Rainy Day 2 can become pretty good.
Of all the disagreements I’ve heard so far, Golden Freddy is the one I can get behind the most. Looking back, I’d bump him up to high C tier or low B tier.

He can defeat a whole team on his own. He also can block alarm.
2: Nightmare Foxy
Hot cheese 2 and Unscrew 2 is a very good duo
3: Funtime Foxy
Shes an excellent healer and damager
4: Jack-O bonnie
The pumpkin bomb is way too useful.
5: Springtrap
The mask ability is hella strong
6: Toy Chica
Best starting character, hands down.
7: Withered Chica
Prize ball. Thats all i gotta say.
8: Fredbear
We all know why.
9: Nightmare Bonnie
His abilites are very cool
10: Nightmare Freddy
He got extra points for raising 8282738282 kids alone
11: Crying Child
He can boost and revive
12: Phantom Freddy
Hes one of the most important characters. He can keep makign the enemies weak.
13: (bonus) Shadow Bonnie
The reason why hes 13 is the haunting, mimic ball and gift boxes.

The fact that Shadow Freddy is a character built off sheer RNG is listed higher than the goat phantom Freddy breaks my heart
Yes chips exist but looking at my person best hard mode runs always sees me running full enemy debuffs and full team buffs with a damage dealer like nightmare
For several of the lower rank characters, you underestimated them or completely missed their strongest playstyles. Some of the higher tier characters are also debateable. You seem to value big/more damage numbers over anything else. That's a totally valid playstyle, but it does tend to scew the actual value of a lot of the roster.
Aw come on, who doesn't love big numbers?
I'm here just to say exclusively that withered Bonnie should be higher because of the fact that unscrew works on bosses they are like one of the only ways killed Scott in my first playthrough
11:34 YEEEEEEESSSSS TYTY I've been thinking about this since I 1st played FNaF World. Phantom. Mangle. Solos. And is honestly one of the strongest early-mid game characters.
Edit: It's also funny that she's pretty much Phantom Freddy's opposite.
i have to agree with a decent amount of people here and say that the dunking on of status ailments really brings down an otherwise pretty good list, especially when phantom freddy in particular can be so useful in the right playstyle and when you’re not just going for ‘this character can’t attack therefore it’s bad’.
phantom freddy, golden freddy, and regular freddy plus another character of your choosing that is very powerful pair up really well, i’ve found, because then you can keep using sludge and gloom song plus golden freddy’s rainy day two to keep the enemy’s stats lowered, and can use freddy’s birthday to buff your own stats so that you can use one of those ‘raw damage’ characters like spring bonnie or funtime foxy. Given that now you didn’t spend all your chips on like, curse and the stat boosting ones, now you can use them on more important ones like mimic ball that make your status attacks last longer/you get two attacks out per turn while the enemy can barely move/you’re also using haunting on them in between rainy day 2s, or pizza/freddle fury which does even more damage now, and neon wall so you take even LESS damage!
I like everything you said about T. Bonnie, and fun fact: Munchies damage is literally Bash Jam on steroids. It does the same amount of damage three times, and if you're lucky hits other directly neighboring enemies.
I do like how fnaf world is such a big and open endes game that even with a video theres things you cant help but disagree with. Very good video
Hear me out, Golden Freddy is goated due to his haunting being able to stall for other characters which could save someone's fight, like if you're about to lose, hit his haunting, and pray that the next move is a character with giftboxes or healing. But that is quite a specific thing, but haunting is still good overall.
As somebody who uses a Team 1 of Jack-O-Chica, Nightmare Fredbear, RXQ and Funtime Foxy, it was relieving to hear how high up the last three were placed-
I gotta disagree with Phantom Freddy one, Having one character that has all 3 negative effects is good and with endless speed (which is kinda better than mimic) you can keep stacking negative effects and the damage reduction and other negative effects are indeed effective, which also allows you to make the other 3 characters completely based on damage and defense and if you equip all 3 endless chips and if you can keep the enemies to have negative effects you will be indeed dangerous

Phantom BB's overall ranking makes sense to me, I'd slightly adjust it, but mostly to switch him with P. Freddy, and put him above the likes of of Toy, Freddy.
I think crying child above RXQ is valid but the utility of haunting is seriously underrated, I definitely think RXQ is better

All of the Phantoms do feel weirdly difficult for how early they are. But imo P. Foxy is just the ever so slightly improved P. Chica.

It’s sad to see my 3 favourites so low! (My 3 favourites are Phantom Freddy,Freddy Fazbear (OG) and Fredbear!) I love Phantom Freddy’s completely support moves! I love Freddy Fazbear’s Completely Balanced Set Up and I somehow love Fredbears move set!…I actually would put Freddy Fazbear as the highest starter! Phantom Freddy where Phantom Mangle is! And Fredbear where Springtrap is and Spingtrap in Springbonnies spot! And Spring Bonnie somewhere around Nightmares area!

Endo Plush makes sense, I never use him since I knowmI'll replace him for final fights anyway, but I completely agree and dven encourage the use of him even if I don't use him.

Toy Freddy carries early game by playing him as support. If you put him on team 2, you can switch to team 2 from team 1, use speed song, then switch back to team 1. Of course he is worse than most characters, he is just not as bad as he seems.
I'd argue W. Foxy is not that bad, while considering the fact you may not find him as easily as the previous row, he is still common enough to warrant good usemof him based mostly off of HT 2, my Rainy Day point stands, and the idea of gradually limiting the necessity of P. Freddy with W. Foxy is a good example.
I would say W. Bonnie can definitely be effective against boss enemies until late on, but regardless his ranking makes sense since it is definitely an offensive improvment and doesn't suffer like Endo Plush did.

No no no no no, I disagree so much, I would say basically everything you said about Mangle for long term usage but about Bonnie. For Mangle I find Poppers doesn't scale enough, especially when compared to PW 2 + Rainy Day + Endless: Strength. And PB is not capable of good enough attacks (with consistency being the bigger issue) to make me feel like I can count on it when I need to.
Its insane you put phantom freddy in the bottom.
His debuffs carried me throughout the whole game while letting me keep my chip slots for something more useful.
I even beat the owl with him on my team.
In my personal opinion, I mostly disagree with this tier list especially with the lower tiers like Golden Freddy as I’ve used him against may of the bosses using haunting to stun bosses and rainy day 2 to cause damage and lower defense with team 1 having Nightmare, Nightmare Freddy and Nightmare Fredbear and he was actually the 1 to carry the team, plus I personally disagree with Phantom Freddy’s placement,sure he ain’t great but I personally think normal Chica is the worst 1 as her abilities can literally be used from other characters and like you said she doesn’t have any attacks, but like you said it’s your opinion
You are undermining the potential of curse statuses. Gloom Song, Sludge, and Rainy Day are by no means useless. Especially when you're going toe to toe with bosses. Gloom Song decreases the enemy's attack well enough that fighting against a boss character can at least keep your character alive. Sludge is slowing down the enemy's attack attempt and it can win you quite some time while your party members mow the boss' health bar down or if you got any damage-dealing bytes. Rainy Day tones down the enemy's defense and lets you do more damage for enough time, nothing wrong with that! While yes, there is a Curse Status chip that applies all three statuses at once, it only applies them at the beginning of the fight for a short period.
Meanwhile, party members with curse status moves are free to apply those each time they get their turn. So, personally, If I had to choose between the two, I would rather get a character with curse status moves than simply slap the chip and call it a day when there are other much more important chips. Friendly reminder that while a few characters are indeed in great need of a rework in terms of moves, that doesn't make them any less disgraceful. I love them all, and funnily enough, I have Withered Freddy as my top-level party member sitting casually at level 70(yes, I'm that much of a grinder with 200+ hours in the game, no farming).

I understand your opinion, but i really hate the fact that you think so low of debuffs. There is no chip that gibes permanent debuffs, and rainy day is legitimately useful. Lowering your enemies defence os the same as buffing your entire partys damage. And you can stack it with power song/ power chips. If you can already deal stable damage and heal, then why not take a debuffer with you. Im not saying take phantom freddy, i agree that he is in the lowest tier(mainly because being nothing but a debuffer is actually worthless), but maybe look at that rainy day 2 when you are using springtrap next time(actually, i dont remember whether he has it. I think it was either him or nightmare.). Also, since the debiffs last for two rounds(every character in the team attacks twice) you can make a strategy like 'rainy day - attack - rainy day - attack' or 'rainy day - buff - rainy day - buff'. I cant force you to do things, but i want you to at least give debuffs another shot.
Dont take this the wrong way. I love the tierlist and agree with most of what you said. Its just that i disagree with you on two things. One is your opinion on debuffs. The other is your opinion on prize ball. I really hate inconsistant moves. I can tolerate unscrew and escape key, as well as haunting. They are powerful mobes that need the randomness to be balanced. Unscrew oneshots an enemy, escape key kills all enemies on screen, and haunting can send an enemy into paralysis for longer than jumpscare. But prize ball just gives you a random move. Its not overpowered. I would much rather just have a character with that move in my party than have to use prize ball and hope for the best. But hey, thats just my point of view. Im sorry if i sound angry and/or talk way too much. I kinda get mad about stuff too easily, especially online. Once again, your tierlist is overall good, and i am thankful for having a tierlist at all. I got to know some things i didnt.
@@Mr.Eous_Mann Worry not. There is no wrong way this could be taken. A few of the things I said in this video are not accurate with what I think now. Honestly debuffs have grown on me. Even in this video, I do talk quite highly about rainy day 2. I just wish there was such thing as gloom song 2 and sludge 2, and I wish that there were better characters who had gloom song as an ability, since the ones who have it now are either weak from the get go, or they’re useful early to mid game, but won’t scale well with the rest of your party late game. Then again, maybe that would be pointless since late game the enemies either deal so little damage that your party can just tank it, or they’ll one shot you no matter how weakened they are.

Endo 01 is better than Endo 02, calm down, hear me out, both have moves that can be replaced by chips, and endo 02 has better moves, however if any of endo 02 moves run out you can easily die, so you have to time them perfectly to not die, thus it is better to use those chips than to use endo 02, replacing endo 02 with endo 01 and using shield and speed chip is better.

Dude, how are status effects not important in the grand scheme of things? Gloom song which is one of phantom Freddy’s moves halfs all enemies attack power and boss attack power. That’s op asf.
I quite don't understand few placements, like golden freddy, haunting is really op ability that makes every enemy stunned for 10 seconds, including bosses. Or plushtrap, bad pizza is such a strong ability, dealing 100-900 damage makes it REALLY goated

Before this video I literally never used poppers, but now that I'm using it it's insane how much damage you can output honestly.

Phantom Freddy is a pretty controversial character, people either put it at the bottom or at the top, and for me it's definitely towards the higher end; having all the 3 debuffs on command can be extremely useful depending on the situation you're in. For example you can make a boss that one-shots your party members have less damage, they would survive a hit which is a pretty huge deal, or you can make a really strong boss like auto chipper attack less which is insanely useful to beat him. Towards the end when you have access to gift boxes he isn't as useful but during early and mid game he's extremely useful. The chip argument I don't think it's valid because who's gonna equip the debuff chip instead of the actual good ones, specially when the debuffs don't even last the whole battle, nobody is gonna equip that instead of endless buffs or neon wall. You can't tell me Phantom Freddy is less useless than Phantom BB when he's the exact same but changes one debuff for an extremely underwhelming and weak attack that barely has any impact, some attacks are so weak that debuffs end up being better, you can lower the enemy's defense which makes your entire party deal more damage. And don't even get me started on the insane trash that is Shadow Freddy, no idea how he's higher than Phantom Freddy when he's pretty much useless against bosses. Some could argue that you can have other party members with debuffs so that Phantom Freddy doesn't occupy a whole spot, but 1 it is not easy to make a good lineup with all debuffs, and 2 I fully think having a sole debuffer for both teams is better, you don't even need Phantom Freddy in your main team, you can have him in the second team as the debuffer.
In short, I think Phantom Freddy should be way higher, him not having attacks that deal damage shouldn't mean that he's any weak, he has a lot of virtues and utilities in different scenarios basically throughout the entire game, from early to end. He should be ranked for what he can do instead of for what he can't do.
Honestly phantom freddy goes in s or high a tier because of how broken as hell the debuffs are like i haven't played the game in a while but i know rainy day makes characters you have do 2x dmg and im pretty sure gloom song can reduce dmg taken to 1 third! And you get this guy in world 1 as one of the more common characters and also the debuff chip is one of the last avaliable chips.
Another thing i got to criticize is that if your fast both of the characters with birthday can act like 3 chips for the cost of 1 character slot

My only complaint with this video was that you did the status effect appliers way to dirty. I realised, when I played the game last time, that they can be pretty powerful.

Why does everyone not like Phantom Freddy? Seriously no one ever seems to like him that I talk to. I'll look at his moves one at a time. Rainy Day: if you have your Freddy at level 12 (or whatever level which Pizza Wheels doess roughly 20 damage I think it's 12 but I could be wrong.) You can increase that to 40 damage; per wheel is insane, even just three wheels now deal 120 damage to all enemies. This can be stacked with Endless: Stength to bring the damage to 60 per wheel. Not as helpful in the long term since N. Bonnie can self sustain this, and does more damage in the first place, but really good early on and in Fixed Party Mode.
Gloom Song: the same idea as before combined with Endless: Defense you can can take surprising amounts of damage, but remain almost unscathed. Plus it's an important part of the Max Defense route, since it can aid you in taking only small amounts of damage even from late game characters like Bubba. (Admittedly this isn't practical, and falls off as soon as you get to Super Goon but still impressive.)
Sludge: a while ago I would've say Sludge was the worst of the three debuffs, and one of the worst moves in the game, but recently I realized it can result in even Animdude being way less threatening due to not attacking as much. (Although N. Freddy may be better due to being otherwise valuable at this point in the game.)
Conclusion: he's great early, just ditch him after younstart getting Nightmares who do the same things but with other better moves, roguhly Pinwheel Circus.

Don't know about poppers, pretty lackluster if having to use it twice or more for it to do anything it doesn't do very much damage. Honestly Mangle is the second starter I get rid of (after toy freddy of course) and should definitely not be that high up maybe D.

You weren’t being rude, you were giving constructive criticism. Thank you greatly for your input. I’ll say that I know for a fact some of my placements were a bit off. Forty characters is a lot to rank individually, so it makes sense that it won’t be perfect. And of course, everyone prefers different play styles, so the characters which are less flexible in what their ability set offers are at a disadvantage, since some people will find them incredibly useful, and some won’t see any appeal in them whatsoever.

I know that those are your opinions but saying that phantom freddy is useless cause there is a chip, and leter putting chica in c tier despite ther being the orb, chip, and mulitple bytes that can heal is just not logical for me

Just for putting Phantom Freddy in bottom tier everything else you've said in this video is invalid and you are getting sentenced to Chica's Magic Rainbow blast... /J
But jokes aside, Phantom Freddy is a PHENOMENAL CHARACTER early-mid game up until you get your hands on endo wall. His synergy with all CHARACTERS is great (excluding the stat de-buffers) as how much he lowers the attack of enemies is life-saving at times, without his gloom song some enemies could even ONE-SHOT YOU (This is more-so directed at hardmode but I'd argue he is even more broken in normal mode) and due to his effects lasting for a good amount of time, you can cycle between other DE-BUFFS to apply to enemies then after a few turns, you simply just re-use gloom song. As Phantom Freddy is the only character in the game with only STAT DE-BUFFS, he is just a great character with his viability going strong... I'd say he is either A or S tier worthy!

Could you try doing debuffs main? I noticed how you always trash talked status effects and i would be interested in hearing your opinion once youve done a playthrough trying to have debuffs active most of the time

@@moltengears7483 No. The list is so janked because I ranked some of the characters before I realized their true potential. These are no longer my opinions, and haven’t been for some time now. The list for me is drastically different now.
To give you an idea of how much my opinion has changed, I now think Nightmare Bonnie belongs in S Tier, Phantom Freddy in B Tier, Golden Freddy in A Tier, etc.
Back in 2016 Bonnie was like my favorite character of all time so I beat the entire game with him every run
And it was the classic one too

Like fantom freddy can help a struggling team in the early game against some heavy-hitters with debuffs, but its your tierlist so i'll shut up
You make a fair point. The only other reason I put Phantom Freddy at the very bottom was because he’s the only character in the entire game which is incapable of killing enemies.

Plushtrap has the Sludge point point which I don't need to bother with again. But my only nitpick here is that Bad Pizza can be a bit RNG heavy at times since it can deal any where from 150-850 damage, which can be great or feel devistating. I can totally agree though.
I completely disagree with phantom Freddy’s placement, this one animatronic is so underrated, if you say have a bad team but don’t want to grind for characters, he is very useful, and I challenges he gets better since if you are doing a challenge with weak characters, than phantom Freddy is a great choice and even carries some teams, and I would know since he did for me
i'm not one to fight over opinions, but golden freddy being that low just should not align. rainy day 2 gets decent damage plus a defense debuff, jumpscare is aight in normal battles, and haunting can carry some bossfights
N. Bonnie is better than N. Freddy, but yeah the Freddles are strong.
I thought it was just MB 1 gives you Withereds and weaker characters (as determined by placement left to right and up to down) and MB 2 can do this with stronger characters giving a chance for anything from Withereds to Endo Plush, (determined in the order like before). Where did you find this out.

What happened to the Halloween animatronics-
Springlocks suffers the same fate as Bad Pizza, especially since neither are effected by buffs/debuffs. But otherwise I can agree, especially since Springtrap isn't too uncommon and has a higher range I'd estimste Springlocks typically does 350-1250 damage, and can also soemtimes achieve that neighboring enemy thing T. Bonnie did.

withered foxy at rank 30 is an actual crime btw do you know how good hot cheese 2 is, literal fixed party mode speedruns use withered foxy in their teams because of hot cheese 2
