Fnaf World is probably one of my favourites in the franchise. I just feel so nostalgic for it. The style, the battle system, the thrill of getting the “A NEW CHALLENGER HAS APPEARED” sign, changing around my party… And the Halloween update. Just, the entire Halloween update. This game still lives in my heart no matter what people say about it.
@@RemGames I'd say FNAF World is more like the first Final Fantasy: both have stories that are complicated, yet it doesn't detract from an enjoyable RPG experience. The first Final Fantasy's story was about a Dark Knight named Garland, who gets taken down by the Warriors of Light, but Garland has already summoned 4 Fiends to take over the world. Garland would later be reincarnated as Chaos, and be sent back in time, so that there would be a never-ending cycle. Convoluted, yet simple; much like FNAF World's story is, I'm guessing.
FnaF world was a game Scott put his heart and soul into. From the lighthearted 4th wall breaks to Chipper saying it was supposed to be him. This game was filled with Scott's Frustrations about how he knew he would never fufil the audiences wants and how in the end all he wanted was something fun. And it turned into a game that was hated, forgotten, memed on and some people only cared about Circus Baby's "Debut" in the game.
FNAF world was a celebration of the games and the fandom. It was a love letter from Scott that was not well received by the community. Despite that, it was truly the end of an era for the first four games and everything else that was built on them.
I think it’s hilarious how matpat defended fnaf world to death on his GTlive streams of the game but nowadays pretends like it’s always been terrible and he never liked it.
Never heard really talking much shit about fnaf world, even in recent years, so he was probably talking about the negative opinion of the fanbase when the game released Or he just changed his mind after a while, people's opinions can change
It’s absurd that the fans hated the game just because it drifted from the usual fnaf games style, this game is seriously such a underrated and unknown masterpiece.
It didn't just drift from the style. The original release was a bad game. I played it back then, and it was... worse than most RPG maker projects. It was boring, and confusing. The re-release was better. ...But I feel sad that Scott made the re-release free. It's a good game, he should have been able to make money from it :(
That’s not absurd at all. The game looked alienating to the fans from the get go. It would be like if the next resident evil game was about fluffy unicorns in fairy land. The concept is so wildly different from the reason most got into the series that it was alienating. On top of that the initial presentation made the game look like boring bland repetitive garbage.
THATS WHAT I THOUGHT WHEN I WAS YOUNGER I WATCHED DANTDM PLAY IT AND FELL IN LOVE WITH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEN FOUND OUT PPL HATED IT AND WAS LIKE WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTT!?????????
@@RemGames wait a minute we didnt get another apdate ......cause of the hate it got ?????????? Well anyway now i absolutely hate this mf comunity i loved this game i was excited for the apdate since we were hited with the to be continued 😭😭😭😭😭
@@RemGames Fans: Fnaf world is stupid and doesn’t deserve updates! Scott: oh ok then, I guess I won’t make any more updates. Fans: *say sike right now*
@@RemGamesWe could have had so much more for this game, but we didn't... because the community decided it was stupid due to not being the same? Bro, if people actually THOUGHT about things, this game could've been much better. But NOOOOO. Everybody didn't give it a chance JUST because it wasn't the same.
I've noticed people have started warming up to FNAF world, if the wider community asked Scott, he might just release that 3rd update, or better yet, a sequel.
I literally cannot believe Scott still thinks he's bad at making RPG's because so many "fans" disliked this game, the late game balance wasn't the greatest (forcing you to use the obviously op characters) but still in general the gameplay was amazing. The aspect of "live battles" was a unique rpg mechanic, and the whole pokemon style of finding characters was genius. It still very much feels like the people who hated it just didn't like that it was an rpg, and that's all.
Why is fans in quotation marks lol nobody who likes the main games are obligated to like this game, and disliking that doesn’t make them a fake fan or whatever
@@SlamDunkPyro I think you misunderstand, I am referring to fans who heavily bombed the game because it wasn't a fnaf game, not fans who simply didn't like like it. I'm pretty sure it was mentioned in the video.
Late to the game here, but I’ll just add that first time makers of RPGs often have very broken mechanics too. Just look at the first Pokémon games and how bad bug type, how good psychic type is, and how you can pretty much spam earthquake against most Pokémon and win. It’s unsurprising he got some things wrong. The game definitely got too much hate when it was clearly advertised as an RPG and not a horror game.
I was one of those people who absolutely hated fnaf world for its style change. Then I tried it out a year or so after its release and its one of my favorites out of the series. I played HOURS of it, getting all the easter eggs and trying to 100% it. I really wish others gave it a try as well. It really didn't deserve the hate it got.
I don’t know if people hate having FUN 😂 but people were judging this game as a game it never tried to be. It proved that it wasn’t a FNaF-style game in every way possible, but people still judged it as such. It had a new website, a very accurate trailer, around 30 different teaser picture; people judged it in a way that it made sure it wouldn’t be judged as
Really hate FNAF World, its a really big maze and enemies keeps coming up to you when u just do like 3 steps (similar to Undertale but you can spare/flee enemies and avoid its attack)
When this game was first released I knew it would be one of the best things ever, and I was heartbroken when I saw that Fredbear’s first dialogue in the Halloween Edition was talking about how no one liked this game. I love RPGs and FNaF, so I felt like this game was meant for me.
fnaf world is genuinely one of my favourite fnaf games. it has so many shortcomings though, which is annoying because i REALLY want to remake fnaf world someday to just fix those million tiny issues. it feels like its ALMOST perfect and that almost is really irritating because i love the game so much but it feels like 1 tiny thing is wrong. im going to remake it i just do not have the time for a million years omds
Sadly, because the game was so hated, the rest of the updates to fix these issues never came out, so we can never have the official finished product which SUCKS because, like you said, it’s ALMOST there and it just needed that last little push!
It’s always broken my heart whenever I think about FNAF world’s fate. I was 9 during its release and previews, and the website updates had a chokehold on me. Mangle was my favorite at the time and I remember crying actual tears when I thought she’d hung herself. It quickly turned into wonder as I saw the website update, which I diligently revisited daily, setting each new iteration as my computer’s wallpaper. My only form of “social media” I had was with others I’d met on steam (where I was much younger than everyone), and all of them entertained my excitement, assuring me it’ll be something good. Everyone in my life knew how excited I was for this, I couldn’t shut up about it as a tiny autistic kid. And then it released. I was a bit late to the party and by the time I was trying to buy it, it’d already been taken off steam. I was devastated. I cried real tears over it, voicing my woes to my friend on steam. And somehow, he was like “oh shit you want fnaf world??? Click this link” This bastard gave me a link, I clicked on it, and it downloaded Fnaf world THROUGH STEAM onto my computer. I somehow didn’t get a virus because holy shit I was so stupid I would’ve done ANYTHING for free fnaf world. 9 years later, I still boot up the game when I’m not feeling great. I absolutely adore everything about the game. To this day I have no idea how that friend got ahold of that link, like I just remember clicking on it and the steam prompt for downloading a new game popped up. No third party pirating website or download process, it was really weird. I love everything about this game and I can’t help but hope it gets another chance in the spotlight. I know it’ll never happen.
I liked FNAF World back when it released. It felt like a nice break from all the insanely sad stuff that happens in the mainline fnaf games. I remember my friends and I were theorizing and furiously debating on which team was the best and most OP for Fnaf world. We were loving it lmao. Simpler times.
@@U-PN-BI-IBW I use Fredbear, Springbonnie, Funtime Foxy and RWQFSFASXC. Fredbear does Mimic ball or Regen song to set up the fight, then, Springbonnie and Ft. Foxy both do Cosmic Song and RXQ does Haunting. Then, you keep that pattern with a single twist, Fredbear will start using Mega Bite 'till you run outta Mimic ball or Regen song effects. You will use Ft. Foxy or RXQ to do giftboxes if needed. This is a very strong and solid team, but even then, it can be a bit tricky to beat Scott or Chipper. But i won agaisn't Chipper first try with this, thing that i couldn't do with any other team i used. Also, if you're not confident, replace Fredbear with Crying Child, that way you'll have another giftboxes user, plus a stats buffer.
If we're going for general enemies and money grinding, I say Withered Bonnie, anyone with gift boxes, Nightmare Foxy and Shadow Freddy with the reapers as your bytes is the best. Spamming Unscrew can decimate within seconds fr.
This game is perfect for me. Not only by the the visuality and the style, but also the mechanics. No tutorial, straight to the point, real-time fast-paced attack patterns and team strategies. I wish I could go back to those simple times. My respect is all for you Scott, for making this game for me and everyone else.
I love how a 2 day delay was surprising because Scott would plan to release a game in a few months and then release it like 4 seconds later. Good ol' Scotty C! Driving me mad and making me question my existence and reality.
I cannot agree more. It is SUPER repayable, has extremely unique mechanics both in the battles and overworld, I could go on. Fnaf world is the most underrated game in the series and I will stand by that.
His models certainly have a unique charm to them, and the way he uses special effects on the screen are so mind boggling, yet, feels right at home with the style of the game
FNAF World was my first real introduction to the series. I was such a scared kid I never touched it. I never even knew what it was really like I was scared of the *concept*. Then I saw GTLive playing FNAF World and I loved it so much! I’d always been an RPG fan, so I picked the game up for the price. I never refunded it, because I still believed it was worth it. After playing a while, I wanted to learn more about the characters I was using. So I started watching hesitantly videos and now I’m still deep in this fandom. I love coming back to FNAF World still too! It never gets old for me, and then when it does I just add a challenge to it. It just made me sad how upset Scott got over it and the fans reaction. It’s hard to see how much of the mobile port’s nihilistic humor was played up and what was true at its core, but other actions like pulling it totally and some posts really made me feel for Scott. Sometimes you have to be happy with what’s in front of you; instead of being upset over what isn’t. You’ll only ever end up being unhappy with everything
I think this was meant to be Scotts present for the community. Something sweet and very fun. But i will never understand why half the community hated it. Shame on you bastards for rejecting a gift.
Not the best, but I really like how original It Is and It’s such an addictive game. I can’t say anything, It was the game that introduced me to the whole saga lol
For a fan of Fnaf, who is easily scared and doesn't like to play through the games, but rather watch playthroughs, this game was perfect. It still had some sort of level of horror and being unsettling without it being too much, so the fans that are too scared to play the mainline games have something to play for themselves. They don't have to sit back and watch playthroughs and skipping the jumpscares, now they can play the game and discover things on their own, rather than watching others discover things first. I am one of these fans. I like the story, the characters, and the lore, but I can't bring myself to play the games because I am easily scared, and horror isn't my usual cup of tea. This game was like an oasis in a desert to me, a Fnaf game that I can actually play and enjoy playing without being paranoid or getting jumpscared. I really wished that Scott would've finished it instead of caving from the pressure of those who didn't like the game. Sure I have my complaints that there should've been a way to see character stats like attack, defense, speed, etc., that there shouldn't be a loading screen when you're just looking at party members, or changing equipment, that there would at least be a tutorial, and there would be a character that was a move tutor, teaching different party members a set of moves that they could learn, kinda like TMs from Pokémon. If Scott didn't cave and listened to the complaints and suggestions of those who played and wanted to see the game finished, then so many things could've been better and would've gotten fixed.
I hate the fact that we live in the timeline where FNaF World is seen as a horrific failure, but Sister Location is the one that launched the universe.
I wish we had a FNAF World universe that expanded on the first game of it. FNAF can have its second arc in SL and maybe even let us have the funtime animatronics and expand on its previous mechanics! I'm still sad FNAF World was a bust mainly because it went away from the og formula. ;.; I still remember the trailer to it. It was the first FNAF game I played longer than the OG series due to it not scaring me to death AND one I loved. Hell, I was there when the Thank You image was evolving! And I went insane from the changed and when the final change was made I LOST IT from how cute it was. And it's so upsetting that we'll never get a game like that again for FNAF.
I consider Sister Location where FNAF had a memtal breakdown and went crazy. FNAF World was 100% trying to be a parody yet fun experience of the series.
@@SilverRagaire good narrative, multiple playstyles including a fully unique fnaf mode, voice acting that is LEAGUES above security breach, so many new iconic characters, and an epic ending with ennard. Its literally the most ambitious fnaf game developed by scott cawthon. I don't get why people always have to pick an arbitrary side, not everything is a conflict. Is it impossible to enjoy both games on their own merits?
I always loved FNAF World! I thought it was such a shame that people hated it when I found so much enjoyment out of it. AT the time, I watched GTlive play the game. It was the only FNAF game I ended up being able to play, because it was free. I'm much better at the FNAF World style of gameplay, and I would have been terrible at playing the main games. That difference in gameplay is probably a big factor in what turned everyone off so much. I think that having variety in games is great, but not everyone can see/appreciate that. I'm glad I'm not the only one who enjoyed FNAF World!
Yes! The GTlive livestreams are so nostalgic to me, I used to watch them after school. I didn't even realize so many people genuinely hated the game back then and it makes me appreciate how the theorists gave it a fair shot. It was the first FNAF game that I was there for the release of, and while maybe it's a bit disappointing I missed the hype of the first 4 games, I don't really care because FNAF world will always have a special place in my heart :)
I actually like the unfinished look of fnaf world. It makes me nostalgic for older pc games, you know like big fish games and those kinda low quality games that I sfill enjoyed playing for hours and hours. I legit prefer it this way tban a very polished, optimized look.
I'm one of the people that, even when it came out and was hated by everyone, still loved it. I was there for the horror, was a fan since FNaF 1. And even before my obsession with RPG's, adored this game over the rest. I found myself not only having more fun with it than other games, but just playing it more as a whole. And even to this day, when I don't even like FNaF anymore, I still can't help but play it. And honestly, I don't think people even gave it a chance to begin with. Take DanTDM for example, he played the game without any desire to be scared, he didn't have any expectations for it, but he loved it anyway. Because he didn't just go "A FNaF game that isn't scary? Dog shit, instantly bad game!!!!", He gave it a chance and he enjoyed it. Which is what people should have done, for those who dislike it even after giving it a try, I respect your opinion, but if you hated, or still do hate it just because it's not scary and haven't actually seen it for yourself, just give it a chance. I can't guarantee for everyone, but I know for at least one person, it will be worth while
Even if it isn't a scary game, it's really funny how FNAF World has probably the most amount of blood shown on screen than any other mainline FNAF game if you think about it
i feel like people tend to forget that Five Nights at Freddy's was a pretty big deviation from what Scott was used to making, he made FNAF World because he was more used to making rpg style games and must've missed making them
From what I remember, you got a few things wrong there: the final update was in fact released, along with the mobile port - it was update 2, the Halloween Update. The mobile port was pretty terrible, especially in the Halloween Update areas, and the story (or at least the dialogues) do not stay the same: the clock ending isn't serious anymore, fredbear finds it fun to scare people with his glitchy form, Animdude is referred to multiple times by name, the controls are ass, the sound effects and music are lackluster (and there's even some dialogue talking about how the port is "pretty good except for the sound effects") Baby wasn't introduced until the Halloween Update Actually, I'd love to see someone cover the android version
I'm so glad to finally find someone who loves the FNaF World music. I absolutely love the music, and it makes me feel like it's 2016 again every single time I hear it. Something about this game just makes me so incredibly happy. I remember watching DanTDM play this for the first time in 2016, and I immediately installed it, and played it for probably like 2 or 3 hours. I absolutely love this game to this day and I have probably replayed it like 15 to 20 times. Along with FNaF 2, this is one of my favorite FNaF games, and just overall games, of all time. I understand the hate, but it makes me so incredibly sad that it is what meant that the game didn't get many updates, or a sequel. I am thinking about learning how to develop games, and to make my own, huge version of FNaF world, with every character, from FNaF 1, to Security Breach. I really want to do this so I can think about, and make, what I think a sequel of FNaF World would've looked like. I like to think that FNaF World actually is canon, and it was simply just a game that you could play on arcades in the FNaF establishments, and then the Halloween update was based off of different arcade games in the pizzeria. Of course you would need to twist the truth a bit to say this, but I guess it's my personal headcanon.
this fnaf world thing reminds me of how people HATED the wii U for how it worked as a console but when the switch came out, every hater was nonexistiant.
I have a lot of nostalgia for this game, playing it during class, exploring it, it's a very kid friendly active timer rpg. A formula that I do think could be expanded on and work and has a lot of potential for fan games.
Thank god someone still remembers this game. It's truly a hidden gem. People just hate because it's not "SCARY" and that bothers me, it deserves more love! It's so good that someone named "Krash Kandicoot" made a fan made sequel called FNAF World Simulator!
I loved FNaF World, it returned to Scott's pre-FNaF style which I also love. It's one of those games which had a soul of its creator, wish Scott was still making games like this...
I absolutely adore this game, I constantly find myself playing it or replaying it, trying out different characters or breaking into the code and making the game way too hard for anyone sane to attempt. I have dreamed of the day that Scott decides to start working on the game again, I know it would never happen but just imagine a multiplayer where you could fight your friends with your teams of animatronics. I would sink so much time into it
I love Fnaf World's gameplay so much. The combo of realtime attacks with swapping teams mid fight alongside the character collecting really worked for me. I would love to see someone else take a crack at FNAF world's gameplay and make a game in its image, fully realize it's potential
My biggest fnaf world complaint is near the pinwheel funhouse segments where there’s walls you’re expected to go through with 0 indication that the walls are different to the regular ones, and that the entire purple tent segment is literally useless because you’re expected to ignore it and walk through rocks and tree stumps instead of going through the tents which are shown to be the main purpose of the area when in fact they affect nothing
I think the best thing about fnaf World is the batte system. The fact that it's a real-time battle, and that attacks are actual projectiles with hitboxes makes it very interesting and unique
Same I mean I've played it to the point I know the battle system and moves inside and out. I know what enemies can use Unscrew or Esc Key, I know exactly the dream team I need to for the final boss on hard mode The only thing I don't know is, how does the move Poppers work?
The game was released in January 21st, 2016. Not October 30th, 2015. Also, the reason why the game got such a bad reputation was for the reason that the original release version of the game had its overworld in an 8-bit 2D style, when the trailer showed a 3D styled overworld. The game was slandered very hard, because Scott has false advertised it. This is the reason why he pulled the game from Steam and gave anyone who purchased it refunds. Just a few days after the game had released. He would then re-release the game as FNAF World Update 1 to GameJolt in February 2016, which features the 3D overworld that was promised in the trailer. But it was too late, as FNAF World had gotten the bad reputation, and FNAF World never got a second chance. Although Scott would release FNAF World Update 2 in May 2016, which is the latest version of the game.
I mean, I'm really biased here because I love this game. It's so cute and cheery and calming, the music's great, it feels so nostalgic, and it's really just a feel good game until foxy.exe Honestly not a big fan of the holiday update games, but i really loved the original.
Fnaf world is just a game made for pure fun. Idk whats wrong with people spending so much negative energy just for this little silly game. Its just made for fun. Get over it haters.
The comparison to Security Breach is genius. Yeah, FNaF World never tried to be like the rest of them games. That's why i like it so much. As much as i love fnaf, i'm an absolute coward when playing games, so i usually dont play them myself. But i still play fnaf world to this day (with the different endings and whatnot, it does have replayability. Or optimizing the difficulty way beyond what was intended). Now, i also love Security Breach for being the glitchy mess that it is. However it is a game full of missed potential and way to friendly feel. It doesnt feel like it fits in at all with the franchise, while FNaF World atleast felt somewhat connected to the other games (which, it techincally is connected to FNaF 3 and literally is connected to UCN. But that's besides the point). FNaF World being deliberatly different shows a lot next to Security Breach being unintentionally different.
fnaf world is one of the most amazing games i ve ever played. Its really sad to see how people hate on it without a solid reason, but the graphics, the gameplay, secrets, endings and especially the music will always be in my heart
FINALLY someone else that agrees FNAF World is good. I tell ya, the people who complained about not being told what the controls do have no sense of exploration or DIY at all. FNAF World is good because it's different. It's a nice change of pace from all the horror prior to it and I think now in 2022, after seeing where FNAF's decline has lead to (Security Breach), the game deserves more love. I've loved it since the day it released and will continue to far into the future. Might even make some sort of essay myself as to why it stands out too. Fun action, different setting, different design approach, and well executed gameplay. Wouldn't have it any other way. Would have been nice to at least hear what could have been for Update 3 though. Thanks a lot to those who complained, us fans for Scott's creativity *outside* of horror really appreciate it-
I replayed this game three times over the years now, and probably will play it again in the near future. the community wasn't accustomed to this drastic change in format, and unfortunately judged too quickly. fnaf world is easily my favorite fnaf game in the franchise.
The main reason I like FNAF World is because of when I played it. Back in middleschool(2016) me and my friends were all obsessed withFNAF. I had it on PC, they had it on there phones, we’d talk about theories, lore, and other stuff we saw online. We saw the FNAF World teaser online and we made fun of it, but when it was made free I downloaded it on my laptop and we sat down to play. We got far enough to get the puppet in our party, Dylan sees the attack name “Escape Key” yells it out of nowhere and slams the escape key losing all of our save data. We fucking lost it, all four of us were on the floor laughing our asses off cuz of how random it was. FNAF World was the last FNAF game I played, because it was the last game I played with that friend group. I moved away at the end of that summer and we don’t keep in contact anymore, but anytime I think of FNAF I think of the four of us on the floor laughing our asses off
Fnaf world isn't just a fnaf rpg, it's a homage to Scott's classic style. If you played his old games/watched his old animations, it becomes so much clearer
I love fnaf world, easily one of my favourites in the franchise. Really sucks that there could have been more sequels and updates but Scott unfortunately stopped because of the hate.
People just never were really ready to a whole spinoff of FNAF. Everybody just thinks that FNAF will always be about jumpscares. Why are they not complaining about the troll games Scott made?
I played fnaf world for the first time a few weeks ago, and I love all of Scott's other games. THE GAME IS ACTUALLY GOOD. Like you said, it was exactly what he promised. I'm about to beat the game, and I love all of the secrets and the fact you can fight characters for them to join your team. For some reason it feels like Pokémon Go. I've played and beaten all of Scott's games including all of the 20/20 modes, except for UCN, that shit is impossible. It's always good to take a break from the horror, the best part is that even though it isn't scary, it still keeps the theme. It's an amazing game and I totally recommend it if you like relaxing games!
The biggest issue for me was the flashing lights. I suffer from migraines and like almost NO video games trigger that at all, and if they do I just go to the appropriate accessibility setting to turn off all of the flashing lights. But this game. oh my god. every single time you get hit, or an opponent gets hit it quickly flashes the ENTIRE screen white (this includes constant damage from hazards or poison and such). AS WELL as characters themselves flashing every time they get hit. AS WELL as moves usually having super bright flashing lights as their animations. And not a single setting to change ANY OF THIS. Scott actually had to quickly add a warning about the flashing lights after multiple people had seizures playing this game and I've seen tons of people complaining about it so it definitely isnt just me. It's funny too, I modded the game and just simply fixed it. Within maybe 3-4 hours I modified all the textures and animations that triggered my migraines and just straight up got rid of textures that flashes all the time for no reason. I have barely any experience with modding or textures so if I could make a functional "photosensitive setting" it's beyond me why he didn't do anything other than a small warning.
He actually wanted to add a lot more (photosensitive could come) but due to the community being a bunch of crybaby furies , he had to cancel the 3 update in order to work for the next instalment
@@ΓιώργοςΠαρασκευόπουλος-ω4τ I promise you no one had a gun to Scott’s head forcing him not to add it. He just didn’t care enough to add a photosensitive mode. He’s not a perfect guy.
@@casperaaron5530 I of course don't know what he would add and I never mentioned that he would 100% add it,as you said he is not a perfect person which would mean the negative feedback had a huge effect in deciding whether he would update it or not. Also considering the fact that all of those attacks make the game mesmerising,it would be difficult to make such mode without making the game aesthetically dull
I find it very funny that you mentioned the trailer music for security breach being based on crumbling dreams, because crumbling dreams is actually based on the pinwheel circus theme
A cool feature that should have been added is the ability to switch between the 2D and 3D over worlds for people like me who prefer the 2D one, because going from being on a boat to being on a lily pad feels weird.
This game was really fun. I still play it from time to time. I played it so much that I basically have strategies for each major boss in the game and usually it's the same unless it's a special case. Like the fact i keep Phantom Freddy on the team because he's a debuffer. He can slow Scott down to give you more breathing room. My backup team usually has at least one character for instant kills. My strat for Scott is kinda simple but it works. First team is Phantom Freddy, Funtime Foxy, anyone with Toxic Bite 2 and then Nightmare Foxy. Freddy can cycle the stat debuffs. I have auto mimic for survivability, makes Funtime Foxy gift boxes hard to be negated with 4th Wall. Toxic bite us good damage over time especially with Nightmare Foxy having Hot Cheese 2. This team is basically trying to whittle him down as much as possible whike staying alive to do it. Team 2 is an all out DPS team for if team 1 goes down. Spring Bonnie, Springtrap, Endo 2 and Crying Child/RXQ, depends on who I get first. Spring bonnie and Springtrap both have Springlocks which does a big chunk of damage. We all know Endo Army, basically hitting them wirh rapid Eye Beams which can sometimes do 1000 damage. Again, this team is just praying they can finish the job if team 1 dies
Personally, I found FNaF world extremely entertaining. I loved walking around with a squad of my dream FNaF team and taking down enemies left and right. Don’t even get me started on the lore, there’s probably some we haven’t even dissected fully yet.
"Dad...No, dad I'm not a Security breach fan I'm a FNaF World fan... "What's the difference"? The difference being ones a good game and the other's a mental sickness!"
Scott said in Dawko's latest interview that he might possibly look into making a fnaf world 2 if he has the time for it and if the passion is there. He mentioned the graphics and he mentioned the roughness about its release but Dawko was there to speak for [most] the fans to say that he loves this game, and so do I
I always loved and always will love FNaF World. Genuinely super fun and endearing. Sad that the game is no longer getting updated because Update 2 was phenomenal.
Ngl, FNaF World is one of my favorite FNaF games. I remember that sheer joy I had from playing FNaF World back in the day. Obtaining new characters, fighting Security, purchasing bytes and chips, I adored everything in this game. I know that it's "not scary". But it wasn't meant to be! Well, generally. Even now, returning into this game, I feel a fraction of that joy, growing more as I dive deeper and deeper into this beautiful and nostalgic game. Sad that no characters were added since Hallowe'en update, but the existing cast is also cool and very familiar and lovely.
I wish someone would just remake fnaf world. Better looks Better sprites Longer story More characters Etc. How has this not happened yet? The premise of the game is so fun.
Yea i wish it too.. And also if someones gonna do it , need to make an non-fast starting battles, like in pokemon fading in and fading out, like in trailer with fnaf 1 characters heads or with memories from fnaf 4,3,2,1 and more, and why i do this, but i still think what fnaf world was fit in original canon, i think its dying mind of crying child , mind what tries to fix themselves and do like this forms goofy fedy chic toilet bony fox, same with nightmare animatronics his mind tries to do those nightmares cute and calm crying child...
fnaf world wasnt disliked originally cause it wasnt what it was promised to be, scott cut a lot of things just to release it earlier, then charged for it. He relised his mistake, added what was promised, and re-released it for free
I was honestly sad that this game wasn’t too well-received. I unironically loved this game, and it was probably my favorite out of the entire franchise. It was different, that’s for sure, but I love how it deviated from the usual.
Honestly, I think Fnaf World should get a sequel. Considering people are starting to appreciate Fnaf World more and the fact that people were fond of both the Freddy in Space games, I think the fnaf fandom has become more open to the idea of non horror fnaf spin offs. I feel most of the problems Fnaf World have can be fixed in a sequel.
When Fnaf World was first coming out, I was excited. At that time, I was young and a wussy. I was scared of Fnaf, I couldn’t even watch UA-camrs play it or anything, but I wanted to enjoy the series cause I thought it was cool. Then I saw Fnaf World and knew that it wasn’t really scary and I could handle it. Then I saw everyone hating on it so I just sucked up my fear and watched all the Game Theory Fnaf videos, wether it would give me nightmares or not… sad, I know.
I can’t help but wonder if this game is a in-universe game in the fnaf world, especially since the other games canonically were retellings of the original events, and the game was supposed to look janky and unfinished because it represents the rogue game developer going crazy before baby off’s him. The clocks could just be a representation of looming deadlines and that he doesn’t have enough time to get everything in place.
I'm truelly sad the game never finished. If anyone wants the closest thing to a sequel, check out Fnaf World Simulator, one of those games that makes you play the bad guys(?). It takes place after freddy 'n co. beat the game and freddy becomes ultra powerful and destroys the world, making the enemies of fnaf world join together. There's methods of getting characters and skipping boss fights. Almost every character you gain is unique in how you get them, some of which are new characters the dev, made, recolored, and unique enemy encounters with the freddy crew
GOOD NEWS: Scott is going to release a FNaF World board game called "FNaF Fightline" and added to the fact that Scott had also said that he was working alone on something that we were going to love, there is a certain chance that Scott will release an update 3 or that he will release a FNaF World 2.
Great video! I admit I hated the initial release of FNAF World, but once the overworld graphics were updated I was hooked. I mean, RPG elements, AND Chibi FNAF characters? Don't mind if I do lol
I always thought it was a good game(for something i never played). And i think Fnaf world is the Fnaf game for me. I mean there are no jumpscares, It looks cute, And it looks like if the plushies had a sinp off game. Edit: I played it and i loved it :D
I still remember playing the first version of fnaf world back then.. its nostalgic... its weird to be how much the game has changed.. i kinda prefer more the retro overworld style more than the current one..
What you sorta fail to realize is that SB was rushed into an over ambitious corner, Steel Wool work on VR games, the cut content shows that the horror element was present, but they scrapped it all because whining fans couldn't wait
Developers don’t scrap content so they can get things out faster that makes no sense lol. don’t blame the fans, the game just had extremely inconsistent direction on all fronts, trying to please way too many people. It’s not like steel wool HAD to make an open world basically RPG with like 6 endings, they were the ones that set themselves an impossible goal, don’t blame “whining fans” for their inability to complete their own task.
@@thesensur6214 Dude all I'm saying is that the fans influence Steel Wool to grow ambitious and they scrapped all the content later on at some point because they knew they were coming up on the release date, they weren't trying to please anyone but fans, lmao, there's so much cut content because they scrapped it after realizing that it could be for the DLC or future content
@@SERMareep2007 That’s very possible! deadlines and such are often semi-enforced by console companies. It definitely makes more sense to blame sony than “whiny fans” lol
this comment needs to get more likes.... but of course it won't bc the fans who forced them to rush it now are angry at them... (altho it prob wasnt intentional.- I think -and I mean no offense to those fans)
About the mobile port, the Android version was officially released but it was removed a day later(you can download via APK), only the IOS port is cancelled. And the reason why Scott said that there won't be an Update 3 was because of hatred by fans and there are errors to fix and fixing all the errors would also mean recreating the game from scratch. I wish Scott was there to remaster FNAF World but it's very unlikely because FNAF World is a failure and Scott is officially retired from making games because of politics which we won't dive in that can of worms. The Android port of FNAF World had some changes like dialogues for comedic purposes, animations or frames are removed due to limitations and stuff and a few more bugs that the PC port didn't have. In 2018, Scott was in an interview that he realized the mistake he made, and he knew that he rushed the game and that he felt like the spin-off should be released later on and not interrupt FNAF lore.
i actully dont understand why people hated this game, it was suppose to be a cute game, AND IT ENDED UP BEING A CUTE GAME. Good vid dude! (Also that desk guy is Henry, hes pretty important in the story too)
yeah but like i. fnaf 4 u can get what’s happening , child gets his head bit by fredbear and (maybe ) has nightmares about him which is the entire plot for fnaf 4 and very ez to decipher
i think the problem is that no one really knew scott cawthon's past games and how his branching off from the cute kids games that he wrote he made for his kids into the horror genre was a huge step for him, and he wanted to get back to the kids games. instead of making a game for the community he made a game for himself
I think a big part of it now is also the nostalgia. I remember playing this game for hours, and it added so many things to the FNaF franchise itself
When I was younger I loved the game

@@RemGames I'd say FNAF World is more like the first Final Fantasy: both have stories that are complicated, yet it doesn't detract from an enjoyable RPG experience. The first Final Fantasy's story was about a Dark Knight named Garland, who gets taken down by the Warriors of Light, but Garland has already summoned 4 Fiends to take over the world. Garland would later be reincarnated as Chaos, and be sent back in time, so that there would be a never-ending cycle. Convoluted, yet simple; much like FNAF World's story is, I'm guessing.
I still play it
FnaF world was a game Scott put his heart and soul into. From the lighthearted 4th wall breaks to Chipper saying it was supposed to be him. This game was filled with Scott's Frustrations about how he knew he would never fufil the audiences wants and how in the end all he wanted was something fun.

It's a good game, he should have been able to make money from it :(
It'd help if I could look at it for longer than two minutes without getting a headache.

The game definitely got too much hate when it was clearly advertised as an RPG and not a horror game.
the live battle mechanic was used in a previous rpg made by scott called the desolate room
The monster collector style of finding characters not the pokemon style

Click this link”
This bastard gave me a link, I clicked on it, and it downloaded Fnaf world THROUGH STEAM onto my computer.

I can't guarantee for everyone, but I know for at least one person, it will be worth while
fnaf world will always be my favorite
Even if it isn't a scary game, it's really funny how FNAF World has probably the most amount of blood shown on screen than any other mainline FNAF game if you think about it
i feel like people tend to forget that Five Nights at Freddy's was a pretty big deviation from what Scott was used to making, he made FNAF World because he was more used to making rpg style games and must've missed making them
The FNAF world overworld theme feels like something from an *old* RPG game and it's so calming.
From what I remember, you got a few things wrong there: the final update was in fact released, along with the mobile port - it was update 2, the Halloween Update. The mobile port was pretty terrible, especially in the Halloween Update areas, and the story (or at least the dialogues) do not stay the same: the clock ending isn't serious anymore, fredbear finds it fun to scare people with his glitchy form, Animdude is referred to multiple times by name, the controls are ass, the sound effects and music are lackluster (and there's even some dialogue talking about how the port is "pretty good except for the sound effects")
Baby wasn't introduced until the Halloween Update
Actually, I'd love to see someone cover the android version
Same
I mean I've played it to the point I know the battle system and moves inside and out. I know what enemies can use Unscrew or Esc Key, I know exactly the dream team I need to for the final boss on hard mode
The only thing I don't know is, how does the move Poppers work?
@@lastpringle8904 Liked a timed stick of dynamite, it goes off randomly and does a hell of a lot of damage.
0:55 I like how nightmare chi a just sees all their friends turning into a different version of thenselfs
There was a version of the game released on october 30th 2015, it just wasn't the one we got in january 21st
man I liked the 2d models better
@Bernardo Coutinho Beny2000 The ones for the overworld. Unpopular opinion but I loved the "arcade game" vibe it had compared to the 3D overworld.
@@klltx2001cool but.....no it was annoying. The slow stuttery walk made walking anywere take ages
I really did hate the fnaf fans for hating the game, and making scott basically cancel it.
I mean, I'm really biased here because I love this game. It's so cute and cheery and calming, the music's great, it feels so nostalgic, and it's really just a feel good game until foxy.exe
Honestly not a big fan of the holiday update games, but i really loved the original.
FNaF World being deliberatly different shows a lot next to Security Breach being unintentionally different.
facts
fnaf world is one of the most amazing games i ve ever played.
This game was one of the best and most fun games I’ve ever played and Scott needed too update it more
Rip fnaf world
People just never were really ready to a whole spinoff of FNAF.
I love World but I also suffer from migraines and it triggers them relatively quickly so I can't play for long
I find it very funny that you mentioned the trailer music for security breach being based on crumbling dreams, because crumbling dreams is actually based on the pinwheel circus theme
A cool feature that should have been added is the ability to switch between the 2D and 3D over worlds for people like me who prefer the 2D one, because going from being on a boat to being on a lily pad feels weird.
I feel like that has been added though, hasn't it?
@@wall-knight2830 nope, it sadly has not
its in "Fnaf world REDACTED" a remaster of the game. it uses the same saves from whatever ur doing in the og so u can still continue off where u left
pretty sure if you press 7 or a number on your keyboard you can switch from 2D and 3D, if only my memory wasn't so foggy haha
The battle system of this game is so good, and also really unique, it's not something I've really seen in any other game.
The difference being ones a good game and the other's a mental sickness!"
nah, its not that, its whether youre a veteran to the series, or youre a child.
Better looks
Better sprites
Longer story
More characters
Etc.
FNaF REDACTEDDDDDDD
fnaf world wasnt disliked originally cause it wasnt what it was promised to be, scott cut a lot of things just to release it earlier, then charged for it.
Finally someone who sees it
When Fnaf World was first coming out, I was excited.
THIS this is my favorite interpretation
“My world was filled with colourful creatures, but you all wanted to be scared!”

I love how this is the Polar Opposite of your last Fnaf Video Essay. XD
(Except to the end.)
Well, it’s also a very different game lol
I'm truelly sad the game never finished. If anyone wants the closest thing to a sequel, check out Fnaf World Simulator, one of those games that makes you play the bad guys(?). It takes place after freddy 'n co. beat the game and freddy becomes ultra powerful and destroys the world, making the enemies of fnaf world join together. There's methods of getting characters and skipping boss fights. Almost every character you gain is unique in how you get them, some of which are new characters the dev, made, recolored, and unique enemy encounters with the freddy crew
tbh was pretty sad everyone hated this game, i never played it but seeing gameplay made me wanna play it
GOOD NEWS:
Scott is going to release a FNaF World board game called "FNaF Fightline" and added to the fact that Scott had also said that he was working alone on something that we were going to love, there is a certain chance that Scott will release an update 3 or that he will release a FNaF World 2.
Great video! I admit I hated the initial release of FNAF World, but once the overworld graphics were updated I was hooked. I mean, RPG elements, AND Chibi FNAF characters? Don't mind if I do lol
Bro i cant believe you arent verified yet
FNaF World is one of the best games in the series. The Scott cawthon final boss is so iconic
I am SO GLAD to see someone who thinks the same way as me (apart from the Security breach bit) AND worded it better than I would've tried!

Fun fact Scott made the first old style horror game with fnaf world way before puppet combo would have
I always felt the arguments for hating this game were unfair. Most people just hated it because it wasn't normal fnaf and just started nitpicking
I still want to get Fnaf World so badly!!!
It's free
The worst part is Mendo never had a chance out of this game he was stuck in a unfinished game forever potention for Mendo to return
@@thesensur6214 wasnt it Sony's fault?
@@SERMareep2007 That’s very possible! deadlines and such are often semi-enforced by console companies.

6:01 at,east he didn’t say pikachu (also didn’t know that a mythical Pokemon is cute)
As a solitary art piece this is my favorite thing in FNaF. It’s the only FNaF game I can get myself through.
No mattter what people say, this game's soundtrack is great
ofc it is!!
i actully dont understand why people hated this game, it was suppose to be a cute game, AND IT ENDED UP BEING A CUTE GAME. Good vid dude! (Also that desk guy is Henry, hes pretty important in the story too)
13:46 so is all of FNAF lore
yeah but like i. fnaf 4 u can get what’s happening , child gets his head bit by fredbear and (maybe ) has nightmares about him which is the entire plot for fnaf 4 and very ez to decipher
I never understood why it was so hated, I loved it, I thought it was cute and charming. It wasn't perfect but I still loved it
I always thought it was a really well designed game
i think the problem is that no one really knew scott cawthon's past games and how his branching off from the cute kids games that he wrote he made for his kids into the horror genre was a huge step for him, and he wanted to get back to the kids games. instead of making a game for the community he made a game for himself
