Great southern rock band from the 60's-80's. It is very sad what happened to this band in losing so many members in a plane crash. My favorite songs are "Simple Man", "Free Bird" & "Sweet Home Alabama". They had lots of great songs such as "Call Me The Breeze", "Tuesday's Gone", "The Ballad Of Curtis Loew", "What's Your Name", "Gimme Three Steps" etc.
You should check out the Shinedown version of this song. One of the members is married to one of the og band’s daughters and it was done as a tribute to them. There are quite a few people that think it’s even better than the original
Greetings, I just discovered your channel, and I dig your vibe. It was an easy decision to Subscribe. Thank you kindly for reacting to Lynyrd Skynyrd, the standard bearers of Southern Rock. I highly recommend a few songs to get started on your 'Skynyrd trip. "Free Bird" "Call Me The Breeze" "Gimme Three Steps" "That Smell" & "Sweet Home Alabama" 😊✌
One of my favorites! My playlist has so many different genres too lol. I often have to tell different groups of friends just try to listen first and even though I’ve listen to all kinds of music I never would have anticipated being a huge KPOP fan or rather a huge EXO fan but here we are 💗
Saw them at Soldiers Field in Chicago with Ted Nugent and REO, in 1977, about a month before the plane crash that killed Ronnie Van Zant. Incredible band.
Love ur videos just found ya. Have u done second chaynce ?? He bounces between country, rock and rap. He is amazing. I love every song he does. I can't pick just one.
The plane that they crashed is still in the woods. There is a memorial set up not far from it. The last performance was in Greenville SC, just an hour from me.
I know you love guitar solos. You need to react to the live in Oakland version of freebird from the 70s. You will lose your mind during the guitar solo at the end
I love this song. My son is getting married in November and this our Mother/Son dance song. ♥️
Nice
So perfect 🥰 congratulations 💖🦋
Going down the Lynyrd Skynyrd hole, keep digging man, get to the bottom, awesome band! Best band of all time to me!

The lyrics/line in this song, “troubles will come and they will pass” is just as the Holy Bible tells us many times “And it came to pass, ...” 😊

Momma knows what she's talking about. ✌️

All our music teaches something.
Shinedown has a powerfilled version of Simple Man you should listen too. It's more vocally oriented with just a little less emphasis on instrumentals.
Listen to “Free Bird” it’s 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Listening to this wants me to make a playlist for my son! 😁
"forget your lust for the rich man's gold, all that you need is in your soul"
