Left to Right, you have Leon Wilkeson bass, Billy Powell piano, Ronnie Van Zant lead vocals, Gary Rossington (sitting) guitar, Bob Burns drums, Allen Collins guitar, and Ed King guitar. All of these guys have passed with the last being Gary Rossington who died in March of last year. My friend you are just tapping in to one of the greatest bans ever. This album was Skynyrds first release on August 13th, 1973. They released a total of 5 studio albums and 1 live album between. 1973 and 1977 On October 20th 1977 their plane crashed in Mississippi. 3 members of the band, including lead vocalist Ronnie Van Zant, were killed as well as the bands road manager and both pilots. 20 people survived and many were injured so badly they and spent weeks and months in the hospital. Call Me The Breeze and Free Bird are a couple to check out. Thanks for the reaction enjoyed it.
This was in the 70s, they were in a plane crash in 77. They have 3 guitars plus a base, piano, drums, lead singer and 3 back up singers. I seen they 3 times before the plane crash. There best live performance of “free bird” was July 2, 1977 in Oakland California football stadium. It was about 3 months before the plane crash, it’s worth the view to see these artists perform… ua-cam.com/video/QxIWDmmqZzY/v-deo.htmlsi=j2G8JN7dxMp8Xb_t
Love your reaction son, reminds me of my mom talking to me,RIP, you are doing a great job, try some music from a group called "Shocking Blue"you will enjoy 😎 thanks 👍
Dude...loved that you got this song...didn't love the copious amount of interruptions. I think you can get more out of it if you would listen....LISTEN...then comment. And I also think you need to go deeper into skynyrd....and 70's music in general because if you do, you will NOT confuse 70's rock with the 80's.
Simple man and Free Bird are 100% timeless songs. This band is dope af.
