Was there on the 8th - best gig I have ever been to or ever will go to. Amazing memories watching this now.
I can't believe how good they sound! Reni's playing even better than before!!! I don't even know how the best can play better? And Squire??? He's an absolute master, and will go down in history as one of the most influential and inspirational guitarists ever to have lived! And him and Brown together? The little songs they wrote together in their room soundtracked a generations lives! wow! Speechless at how awesome this is! I live in Australia, I'm making the trek to Singapore for July 22!

Young Mancunians. We were proud back then. We had something to be proud of - the Manchester scene (madchester). No trouble, just a good vibe wherever you went. I'm from that generation. Happy days. Live down south now because those days are long gone. Consigned to the annals of history, unfortunately. Tragic, really, because Manchester had really reinvented itself back then. It has now, but only within the city centre. Not where it counts. Not where people live. Not where the local pubs are.
Absolutely Superb!!!!! What the British music scene has been missing, a whole generation has missed out on this sort of stuff because of being brought up on boy bands and X Factor crap, roll on 29th June in Madchester!!!!!

I was lucky enough to be there, and it was one of the best gigs I've ever been to. Small venue so an incredibly intimate atmosphere. No support acts, so the anticipation just built and built, before the Stone Roses finally appeared and - genius - opened with 'I Wanna Be Adored'. Totally blew the roof off and the place was on fire with joy. Two solid hours of love. Ian Brown even got John Squire to take centre stage and the crowd to applaud him; lovely, gentlemanly touch. What a glorious night.
Singapure awaits this legend come sunday!! it will be one crazy nite. woohoo!

Ian is still the best front man, Squires the best guitarist, Mani the best bassist and Reni is the best drummer, still the best songs.....what part is nostalgia The Roses are back to claim their thrown regardless of the haters.The people shall here real music once again.

It was really cool to hear and recognise "wanna be adored" coming on the air through my window in finsbury park, with thousands singing along, strangely they were quieter on saturday than friday, maybe the wind took the sound away, wandered up toward the park saturday night in the dusk and a london fox came with me up near the park as though it were interested in the sound.

Its a fucking miracle they got together again....and they're gonna get slagged-off. Its the way it goes. Ok so there's some nostalgia in all this...but the shit is still fresh....and they're the funkiest white band Britain will ever produce. Its a great reminder of what was missed and can still be achieved....a new legacy.

crikey...what kind of time machine is this?... back to the moment indy-rock morphed into dance and the guitar solo that inspired thousands to pick up a six string??...not quite... I think they may actually be better now.. fine wine etc.. John's playing is sharp as ever and the weakness in the band (sorry Ian) is no longer a drawback as the whole crowd are singing the song and can't hear Ian's singing anyway ;) but seriously...what a cool performance...congrats everyone..keep the fire burning..
