Correction to my comment in the video about this Pete maybe being a 362H … there is no “362H” only a 352H that was developed as an interim model between the 352 and the 362 platform when the truck sales weren’t supporting the costs of full development of the 362. The 352H was built for the bigger engines and cooling needs of the large Cats like the 3408, Detroit 8v92 and the KT Cummins. The 1st 352H was built as a '76 model year - last in 1980. The build numbers for the 352H and the 352 are merged together. 352H stands 4 inches taller than 352, the cosmetic differences being the cab panels below the headlamps, wider step pockets, lower mounted turn signals, taller grille and unique bumper (center mounted fog lamps vs. wide spread on 352). 352H required a unique cab tilting system, a wider doghouse and a 1510 square inch radiator. If you have a 352H that you don’t want anymore, please let me know 😉
The 352H was developed in the mid-70’s expressly to fit the Cummins K-series engines and Caterpillar 3408, and facilitate the much larger radiator required to keep them cool. Everything learned from the 352H went into the design of the succeeding 362…wouldn’t necessarily call the 352H an “interim model”.
