@@TwinStix Why not? It is a nice Cab. Of course, it will be a lot of work. But I think that the Result will be amazing. You know Marc, the craziest and the most impossible Ideas are the best. And Aerodynes in restored Condition are pretty nice.
You should build a wall with beercases in the opening of the trailer so that when someone opens those doors it looks like it is packed full. Perhaps put some hinges on one side so it can swing open and access further inside.

Had to go back & make sure I wasn't trippin. Was that a commercial flaw. I just saw a squirrel. Didn't I ? Went back, saw it again then came here. Glad I'm not trippin lol
You need a huckbolt cutter/shear and a low profile 90 degrees adapter for a drill. It's a good little tool to have in your arsenal. The shear registers on the huckbolt and then as you rotate 4 cutters zip off the collar. It's fast and simple (well, faster and simpler than other methods) and it makes quick work of the relatively soft collars, leaving you an easily removable core bolt.
Wow that was some big bone yard. I hate to see all that equipment in that condition. I usually get attached to my truck like most drivers and to see them all smashed up and all apart tugs at my heart strings. Some one at sometime has some great miles behind the wheel. A freedom that most jobs do not give you. That trailer find was a great score. I love when you chuckle as it is when you are the happiest. Being happy is why we do what we do. Well Twin I thank you once again for another fine classy video. Stay safe and let them twin sticks fly..
Seeing that old trailer brought back a lot of memories from when I was a kid in the 70s and would see them roll by my house. Looks to be in great condition!!
Junk yards/ salvage yards/wreckers use to be my favorite places when I was a kid, sadly they're far and few between these days and the ones that are left don't let you walk around like we use to Thanks for the memories Mark
Love it when the parts needed for a project finally become available. Cool score on the trailer Mark. I know you've been trying to find one for a while. Thanks for posting.
Since I'm a UA-cam subscriber, this came up on my feed when I woke up this morning. I put off drinking my coffee for this. It made me laugh, and cry at the same time. Great episode Mark. Thank you.
Hey Mark I love your Chanel! I watched your last episode In it’s entirely that was a heck of a haul! That trailer is PERFECT! I don’t know if you are going to find another as clean and straight as that one! Great find!! I’m so excited to see Snowman in all her glory! Keep on trucking brother!
Mark, I really enjoy watching these videos where you go to look for parts to use on your trucks. The knowledge you share on these vintage trucks is very interesting!
That trailer is sweet. Pop a dummy reefer unit on the front, and viola. You may even find a slider to replace the walking beam on it, but then again, it’s unique. You can’t even find aluminum box vans like that with only a few years on them that don’t look beat all to heck. Lastly, the Peg references are miiiint!
Wish I had a dollar for all the miles I pull a trl just like that one lol good times great to see u bring old stuff back to life keep up the great videos love each and every one my father had the pace scanner ur looking for but we’re having hard time finding it best wishes
Awesome video update and lots of parts for all your projects and the trailer that's awesome look forward to seeing your next video update have a great day 👍😎
That trailer is in good shape. It’s a old CP intermodal (piggyback)trailer. Most of them had the logistic floor in them. They dropped down from the roof. Me and my boys enjoy the videos.👍
I will be doing the big hole conversion on my 359 on my channel about mid summer. I just bought my gage huck bolt gun last week. I will probably just buy my rings. This week I am converting front axle to a late model axle.
I wish you had another space in your garage, that K100 Aerodyne was stunning . It's my all time favourite. Someone needs to save it. The trailer looks awesome, I can't wait to see you pick it up. Another great episode, thanks Mark.
When you're doing your junkyard tours, it might be fun to show us some of the funny slogans lettered on some of the trucks ... sorta like my " pass with caution .. driver chews tobacco ". LOL
Love your videos, been watching every week for years! Love the builds! You have so much hands on knowledge, things I never knew about. Keep getting it man! I enjoy learning about these old big rigs.
Great find Mark, and I hope you are able to get the sleeper and cab hole sorted out. Have been missing your on the hunt videos. Hope you are able to do more. Cheers, John Queensland Australia.
My grandfathers brother so my great uncle worked for paccar back then. He actually was one of the designers of the unibilt cab and sleeper system. He designed a lot of other things too but the unibilt was a big one. I’m not positive but I’m pretty sure he also designed the best dash ever put in a truck. The b model kenworth flat dash. I don’t expect anyones gonna believe me but I’m not lying.

My Uncle, James Bradley, painted those trailers for Mr. Reynolds at the shops on the Old Atlanta Fair Grounds for the Smokey and the Bandit Movies. Move of the filming was done in Forrest Park and Riverdale.
In 1978 or so I was in a truck stop in Salt Lake City and the original Snowman trailer was in there. I took a few pictures of it. The guy even had a Kenworth pulling it. It didnt look great but it was still original. I forget when the movies came out. But you could see that trailer a mile away.
I know it wouldn't of made as good of a video, but you shoulda just called truck shrouds, in illinois. They even supply the rivets and gun if you need it. Super nice guy's. I did a big hole conversion on my 95 kw.

That old 1978 Pullman Trail Trailmobile trailer looks similar to the 1980 Great Dane stainless steel ribbed beaded panel reefer trailer;that Tim Gentry recently bought along with the 1962 White Freightliner cabover, that was hitched to the trailer. He said that these old vintage trailers have become highly desirable & sought after by owner-operators and by truck collectors & truck enthusiasts over the years as restoration projects to take to the American Truck Historical Society truck shows.Because of how rare these old vintage trailers have become over the years;as many trucking companies sold them for scrap after 5 years of heavy use and he was getting all kinds of offers for the trailer, but Tim said that he's not going to sell it because these old rare vintage trailers holds and maintains their resale value.
Today is a good day indeed when it has a Twin Sticks vid. I def need to try to see if i can hit the Lesco show that keeps getting mentioned so i may be able to see either LBL or Snowman in person some day.
