HEY Y’ALL! Merina is my name and Mobile Home Livin’ is my thang! Around here I’m known for mobile home makeovers and large family mobile home livin’! I used to do mobile home livin’ in a trailer park in Tennessee. We’ve set out on a new journey and bought our dream home - a double wide mobile home on some acreage in the hills of Tennessee! Taking my son to children's hospital in the morning for mri on his brain and spine he has a disorder where his brain is dropped into the back of his head kind of in his neck. They are going to find out how far it goes. Please pray for us for him that the headaches ease up that whatever they find out maybe it can be treated. And I wanted to tell you me and my mom watch every one of your videos and wonder what you are up to on days when you don't post a video. We love you so much.

That sounds like Chiari Malformation of the brain ...and syringomyelia of the spinal cord. I was diagnosed with that 20 years ago and had the brain and spinal cord surgeries...wishing you well.

I am 68, and tonight when I saw they were on ...I did a hooray! I am alone now. I was married 46 years. My husband strayed and decided to destroy our family. He had a job across the country and found someone to live with there. I was in the dark. I was going about all that a wife and mother should. I lost my mom,younger brother, and sister within 9 months.... Along with going through a divorce. I should have had his support. I struggle and need prayers more than ever.

It sounds to me like you sure need some prayers and I will offer up some for you.
Our Aldi is getting expensive so you don't save money. Wal-Mart here hasn't had any margins and the cuts of meat don't look good. About an hour away we have an Amish store that carries EVERYTHING.the meats are fresh, the jams, peanut putter are homemade, and they have isles upon isles with soup mixes, spices, beans. Plus right next door they sell homemade furniture, and sheds. Always try to buy from farmers because they are close to losing their farms and when the prices keep climbing they will still have food to feed our families. And right around the corner from us we have a lady who sells fresh hens eggs. So we give her our business. Your doing a great job, Marina and Shane.

You could make the front porch into an entrance, build a closet into it for jackets and shoes, it would keep the trailer cleaner.

That budget is excellent. I find that grocery prices have risen exorbitantly. So for a family of 6, that is a miracle! Not to mention the pets 😮

Planting a garden would be great for all of you! Gardening, is one of my favorites! It’s a lot of work but soo tasty, soo good for your health, and the kids will benefit from the educational process!
A very special memory for me, was when my grandsons would help me plant the seeds, and harvest our garden sweet corn! So thankful for all those cherished memories.

I come from a line of “city livers,” so I didn’t grow up with gardens in my life. But thanks to my best friend’s mom who was raised on a small farm and had a backyard full of flowers, fruits veggies, and fruit trees, I always wanted to have gardens of my own! And here I am, 55 years later, with a yard full of flower and veggie and berry gardens! And I can’t explain how relaxing & fulfilling it is to grow your own food!

One way to keep dogs off porch would be to build a railing around your porch and put a gate on it.
Aldi has grocery pickup also. I shop online for them alot. Much cheaper than Walmart. I buzz up the road, pickup and am home within 20 minutes.

You know you shouldnt say you are spending too much money due to having more veggies and fruit, its the fast food you buy that wastes money and is bad for the children. The best thing you do is when you cook from scratch! You do it a lot and you do it from scratch so thats really the best you do for the kids. You are very positive which is why people like watching you. Hang in there.
For future reference, whenever I take something apart, I take pictures along the way so I can remember what goes where. I enjoy the vibe of you and Shane and I don’t care if the videos come in parts or however you want to do them. Try adding some veggies in your spaghetti. I have been adding green, red, and yellow peppers then add my meat then mix my sauce and my kids love it. I also throw in red onions as well.
I do onions green pepper and celery
You can also add shreded carrots and spinach in the sauce. Even the pizza sauce for your pizza.

Hi Rina, I wrote a comment when you showed us your design for the fireplace that you should move it to the side, so you can keep that view. You can place the fireplace on the side where you plan on extending the deck, that way you can have a two side fireplace. Just a suggestion..whatever you decide it will look amazing.

Frozen fruits and vegetables are where its health they retain more nutrients and are less expensive.
We did a low carb lasagna using frozen steamed cauliflower instead of noodles and my husband who is a picky eater loved it.

I love and hate watching the grocery hauls for one it’s nice to see what people eat and plus Shane’s a goober. But also just wish I could afford food myself. If yall could keep me in your prayers as well it would be awesome been dealing with so much lately and watching your videos is about the only thing helping calm the anxiety. For some reason when I watch you guys I feel a sense of peace for a bit. Which even a little bit of a breath is nice when you feel like you’re drowning.

Brussel sprouts sautéed in onions and bacon is so yummy. Saute the bacon and onions first, then I half fresh brussel sprouts and don't cook all too long. A little garlic is good too.
