The murder rate in Canada is 2 per hundred thousand compared with 6 in the U.S. and 1 in the UK. Do you really think the U.S. is better? While it may make you feel better, I would prefer a lower murder rate, even if it means killers have a chance at parole. Incidentally, the fact someone is eligible for parole doesn't mean they will get it.

Mental capacity of an 11 year old, indeed....does an 11 year old know how to do all the atrocities this man repeatedly committed? Granted, there have been children who have assaulted and murdered, but none to this extent, that I know of. He's playing the diminished mental capacity card. Life without parole --seven, practically helpless, old people! 😢

You should hear about the one who mewled like a lost little kitten outside the apartment doors of soft-hearted little old ladies, to get them to open the door, looking for the poor little kitten! It was some guy in NY in, like, the 30's -- historical crime channel . . .I forget the name. I think it was a big-name killer, though; I might recognize the name if I heard or saw it again.

Lovely staff member at the Somerville Hastings House 🙄. He/she HEARS the murderer stopping to wash up AND shave in between murders of the two elderly Polish gentlemen........but did that staff member get up off their duff and CHECK that room? NOT!
Very sad commentary on quality of care in that House!
I’m retired now after 30+ years as an ER/Shock Trauma RN, and I can honestly say if I heard a razor buzzing (maybe it wasn’t an electric one) and water splashing late, late at night.....I WOULD DEFINITELY HAVE GONE TO THOSE ADJOINING ROOMS TO SEE WHAT WAS UP!!! I worked at a large, inner city hospital here in the States, and there was never a night we weren’t very busy. One night, we were over the top (winter, bad car accidents left and right not to mention the pneumonia’s, patients needing to go to the Operating Room immediately......etc.) and with all that going on, people yelling orders, etc., I heard a weird noise in the hall. And yes, I certainly did check it out....someone thought they had locked themselves in a patient restroom. 😉 So Happy it wasn’t more than that, but my point is WHY didn’t that staff member check on those two elderly men when they heard something???? Maybe it saved the staff member’s life, but maybe it could have saved at least one of those gentlemen!
God puts us in places we need to be. He doesn’t make mistakes. But it’s our duty to care for and protect those he gives us charge to keep free from harm, to the best of our ability. Sorry this is long, but being an advocate for patients has always been so very important to me......and don’t think the same errors weren’t made in my big fancy hospital! They were! It’s all about how much you care.
May God bless and safely keep each one here, in Jesus’s Precious Name, Amen. ♥️🙏🕊✝️🙋‍♀️💕💜🕎🌹

That might not be the focus of her training. Translating crime scene behaviors into a likely suspect description for practical law enforcement application is generally the work of criminal profilers rather than forensic psych clinicians who evaluate offenders directly (face to face) in order to discern their internal functioning and mental status.

The first poor victim … what an inept and lazy medical examiner. You know if something criminal happens to you, you can only hope there are competent detectives and medical examiners who actually care looking at your case because I think half of them don’t care. Especially if it’s not right in their face that it’s an obvious crime.

How could she be deemed dead from natural causes with such injuries? Well she was elderly so I presume assumptions were made by the doctor who examined her. How disgusting. The lead in commentary talks about how fantastic Scotland yard is and how their forensics solve such crimes. Bit of a misnomer there. She was talking about his animalistic nature when she spoke about him turning family pictures around. I'm thinking he hasn't got a family that loves him and hats that this person does.
