Where did you learn about the second heart being completed in 4E 200? I don't remember learning anything about it or reading anything about it in Skyrim.
So that's how the Clockwork City and its inhabitants flourished after the destruction of Lorkan's heart. Even after his death, he has kept the walls of his cell sturdy, and his people safe. This is why Sotha Sil will always be my favorite. That, and he admits that he's not a god. It's still sad, however, that the entire Island of Vvardenfell was destroyed by Red Mountain after Vivec's "disappearance." Almalexia? Her death didn't cause any large loss of lives. Vivec did, Almalexia never even came close and Sotha became the god of the Clockwork city.
Metal, Cold, soulless. But Alive.
This seems to be the first lore video I've seen on this
First minute squad where you at?
Wow, you guys are pumping out content like crazy! *Thank you* for doing this!
Ooooh I've been waiting for this video ever since I set foot into this wonder for the first time.
These visuals are absolutely stunning! If I ever get to play ESO, it will be for that
Drew, I loved your narration in this, as with most of the Daedra Lore vids. Kept me listening despite working on another monitor.
I am so happy you came out with this video. Definitely my favorite, too.
Fudge muppet is an endless source of knowledge!!!
They must serve herma mora
If you want two other endless sources of knowledge, look up Imperial Knowledge and Lady Of Scrolls.
''If one intercut piece of the system were to fail, the whole mechanism would be rendered obosolete''
Am I joke to you?
- Sotha Sil
Seeing the Clockwork City in ESO for the first time was so cool.
If it's supposed to still be around even during the events of Skyrim, I'd absolutely love if Bethesda brought the Clockwork City to a mainline Elder Scrolls game(which I'm sure is unlikely but a guy can still hope).
I hope he talks about the mysterious/unknown hero that traveled to the clockwork city at the heart.
Where did you learn about the second heart being completed in 4E 200? I don't remember learning anything about it or reading anything about it in Skyrim.
@xeniasvoid Thanks
Wait... 4E Y200. We could have had an adventure there in skyrim... Oh wait, modders probably made it.
Hated how the end of almost every sentence was drawn out for no reason verbally. "To others it was an unceasing nightmareeee." "Soulgemmmm"
Me too, me too...
It's really annoying
I just love these lore videos! You guys compile such great info with interesting and relevant visuals.
I never liked her, to be completely honest.
I think Vivec saw the damage The Tribunal's rule had done to the Dunmer and decided that they needed to go through trials and tribulation if they were to be as strong as they could be.
Eh ? What game is the footage from I thought I had every TES game that ever released but never seem these graphics before
Elder Scrolls Online, the MMO.
@@Manfromthenorth0551 Oh right, OK, thanks for letting me know its the only one I don't have but should have realised it but completely forgot about ESO as I've no interest in mmo titles so never thought about that one lol.
@@dominicwebb4416
As someone who has played a fair bit of ESO, you can play most of the game as a "Single Player" experience.
As in you don't need to group up with other players to enjoy the content. The only time you need to is for PvP raids, raid bosses, and overworld bosses.
Main story and most side quests can be completed alone.
@@Manfromthenorth0551 and some overworld bosses can be soloed with careful reasouce management!
If you want to try it out I recommend getting the subscription for just the one month as it helps out a lot. It is hard to get used to, at least for me since I dont play mmos, but it has been an amazing experience so far.
This video is the best elder scrolls related video I have ever seen
My favorite zone in ESO by far.
Is being a daedric artifact worth it?
"Yes...."
"The Clockwork City - it just works"
The mechanicum of mars on nirn basically?
Wow cool! I never heard of it. Im so thankful for all your videos i nerd out over elder scrolls hard. Keep it up guys its great quality!
Shout out Drew!
People like to hate ESO but in 25 years of playing elder scrolls, a quiet conversation with Sotha Sil meant more to me than 1000 fus roh dah's
Some parts of the eso storys are better than the skyrim storyline
fudgemuppet: clockwork city is the best city in the elderscrolls . Umbriel allow me to introduce myslef
This channel's story telling skills improve with each video uploaded. You guys are doing a great fucking job. Please keep it up :)
I agree
Yo I thought this was gonna be a review of the clockwork mod...
Lol nah. Clockwork is based on the mansion and the underground city. It’s different. :3
The Wheels of Lull mod references Clockwork City though :)
Forgot to sleep, but was given a boon!
7:25 From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me...
Is sotha sil wearing that helmet that crazy immortal guy was wearing in fallout 4???
Guys please play Enderal(Skyrim mod) and make a video on that ... I love you guys and Drew is megalove
I have to agree, Enderal Forgotten Tales is EPIC.
You're new UA-cam icon should be curmit as the dragon born eating fuge
Sorry to say but that City, a perfection of Nirn it is not.
But it is an incredible place!
A thought occurs.
Can objects mantel objects? Could the Heart of the Clockwork City mantle the Missing Heart of Lorkhan?
This was shared by the official ESO Facebook page lol
AWESOME!!! The perfect video I didn't even know I wanted to see....
Until I saw it! Thank you :)
I was shocked when I walked up on ClockWork City and it could fit in the hand actually.
In oblivion there is a Fort called Teleman and when you go inside and explore a bit you can find Nocturnal's ruined shrine guarded by some stunted scamps and one dremora churl. I need an explanation please because I've been standing here asking myself wtf is happening. There's also a lot more of these kind of little secrets in caves and forts that no one seems to talk about and it's kind of a shame.
:48 that's very similar to Lorenzo's helmet I fallout
Man I want like Skyrims cities because I have that game ,but Morrowinds Cities are Awesome!
What if the dwemer are living in their own clock work city?
Very likely given that you can summon clockwork, and summoning come from somewhere and its a daerdric skill
Clockwork apostles are just the synths of the Elder Scolls universe.
Sotha Sil: "Reality is flawed, I can do better..."
Vivec: "Reality is an illusion, the universe is a hologram buy gold, Byyyeeee!"
So during the events of skyrim there exists ab artificial but fully functional heart of lorkhan? Can we use it to reach godhood outside the city? Can it become a new Tower? How did it's creation influence Nirn?
I always come here when I need good sentences and big and unique words for when I'm writing a story in language arts class
Fudgemuppet the Youtubaedric god of knowledge
It brings tears of joy to my eyes that you’ve used ESO footage.
What a ridiculous nightmare of an idea
*Behold these nuts!*
The eye of magnus belongs to the Falmers is the greatest thing I never saw
This was nice. I enjoyed it a lot
I never player ESO, if it were a single player game i would be all over it but i hate MMOs and multiplayer only games in general mainly because i suck at them and have to time to dedicate to actually become good.
Eso can be played single player tho....
Yo sotha sil is the tony stark of elder scrolls
1) Reality lies between order and chaos. Too much order is like a prison, and too much chaos makes it meaningless.
2) You can never achieve perfection, but it is always in front of you.
3) Lorkhan is the true god, because he gave ultimate sacrifice to create Nirn and its people.
Sotha Sil, Elder Scrolls version of Mechanicum.
I read somewhere that apparently Clockwork city is instrumental to the 5th Era? Is this canon? Also, what is the 5th Era?
FOUL TARNISHED!
Sotha Sil is definitely my favourite False God
I'm curious what happened to the Clockwork City around the time of Skyrim because I know the video you mentioned a 4th era 200 and that's just one year before Skyrim
