I tried acrylic pouring on a guitar body. Part 1

I recently got into acrylic pouring, in case you don't know what that is, its when you take acrylic paints and pour them onto a canvas giving you endless amounts of designs patterns and in the end awesome abstract art. there are many different techniques you can do to get unique results every time. In this video I use a guitar body as a canvas and the results are awesome.

This is so cool! I'm a pro player and also done about 300 acrylic pours with various techniques. I've thought about doing this, and it's nice to see your project turned out so well. Look forward to seeing the completion.

When I painted a guitar I used a plank of wood both as a blank and a handle in the neck socket & bolt holes - massively helped. I had drilled holes in the plank to hang it for drying and clear coating.

Damn, this is gonna be a sick build bro! Hopefully you can get some nice b-roll shots of this thing in some more natural lighting when it's finished, so we can really see that metallic sparkle! \m/ I'm sure we're all expecting some planet-heavy riffs inspired by the finish in that demo track!
