Hey Dave! Awesome dipping stuff. I didn't even know you could do that kind of stuff with paint cans. That's awesome. I love them all. The black and silver reminds me of the acrylic pour my wife did for me on my 93 Ibanez RG470. You have probably seen it on some of my videos. Anyway, they all looked super cool but I love the black and Silver. You have lots of great suggestions! Great video! 🤟😎🎸
Looking good buddy 👍 From what I've seen from dipping on some other non guitar channels (haven't tried it myself) but a little Borax seems to help get an even coat Ratio: 1 gallon of water (~78°-79°F) to 1.5 tbsp borax. Think it helps with getting an even coat. Plus enamel hobby paints (non spray can just liquid) will be easier to control pattern wise. What you've done looks great 👍 All the best.
I am always a sucker for red and black however i love the way the multicolered dip turned out. I would like to see it without the black in it leaving just the red yellow and green. If you dont choose the multi colored one now I would love to see it later! Awesome video! Keep up the great work!
Now you got me wantin to try that now (again). I'd try the last 1 with multiple neons, say blue, yellow, red at least maybe some yellow too n a bit more black between the colours too. guess it would be like those guitars fender did in the early 80's. but Fragnammit I've got 1 guitar to finish now n another waiting to start. Can't believe I'm getting colour g.a.s now.
I’d do 4 neon colors, and instead of spraying as a circle in the middle, spray in random “lines” in the water to spread the colors around the water, then mix. It came out pretty cool for a first attempt.
6StringStanger just a follow up, a friend was doing this and he told me you need hot water and a little soap in the water. Make sure to completely submerge guitar.
@@azbababooey Thanks Man..yeah the water was straight out of the hose..when I was getting ready to dip I was thinking about the temp as I have heard of that as well.
Wow!!!! Just spray paint and 90° water????? I had no Idea... I was thinking about purchasing a hydrographic film print, but now I'm thinking just Black Brown and Beige for a woodgrain look... Great video man!!!! (%
At th3 13:00 I can make out a face. It's right in the middle. I see a wide mouth, the nose and eyes. Then above that, the black can be the hair. The face looks like it's getting pulled into a wormhole or something that would stretch the features. 🙂
*BLACK & GREEN* (that sharp green really makes it pop like it’s glowing fluorescence, That’s the one Brother. -IMO-) I didn’t see anything in comments about this but - Did you ever figure out how to *slow the paint setting up on the water?* *🤟🏼on/✌🏼out*
u should have prob sprayed the glitter while spraying the paint spray glitter with the colors so it would kind of mix in with the colors more like flake or like it should instead of clumping up might want to try that! other wise they all looked awesome i thought
I think they all look sweet, but the green and black and the red and black look the coolest in my opinion
I hear ya...Thanks for Watching
Great Job Again Dave!!! They all turned out Awesome!!! Curveball Time Black, Silver and Red,,, Hell Yea Booooyyysss...
Dig them all, but the black and neon green would really be cool if you added a blue to it. The last one is totally Vai!

Hey 6... That last one puts me in mind of something Steve Vai would have. ITS SIIIIICK!!!!!
Yeah I like that one as well but the more I think about it I dont think it would be suitable for a les Paul style body..Thanks for Watching 🤘🤘
Your stuff looks alright to me. I am going to do my first dip on a diy bass kit.
