I'd definitely go for oats and some kind of legumes to cover protein along with a nutrientdense veggi like broccoli, but 3 ingredients is pretty hard to work with. Going up to 5 I'd add some berrys and either apple or tomato
The mousse looks really good! Makes me wish I could be bothered to use and clean the blender more often lol Ah btw about the miso oatmeal Miso is usually added at the end of the cooking process because boiling it destroys a lot of the nutrients that people like Miso for. In Japanese (and Korean) cooking, you'll see people dilute Miso (and other fermented soy pastes) with a spoonful of broth, water, or soup, in a ladle or sieve, and the stir it into the dish. Maybe you can add it later on, after the oats are mainly cooked?
After using your blender, fill the bottom 1/4 of it with warm water, add a bit of soap, and blend for 45-90 seconds on high (depends on your blender power) and it takes care of 90% of the cleaning job, especially of you do it immediately after you empty whatever you were blending in the first place.
I didn't know that about miso, but it makes sense since it's a fermented product. I actually like to make a simple sauce with the miso and drizzle it over the top of my oats. 😋 I usually top mine with a fried egg and some steamed or stir fried veggies as well, usually onion/bell pepper/greens.
You can also just make a big batch of oat flour. And then mix the flour and milk etc by hand when you want to make pudding. That way you don't have to use the blender everytime
Barista here, about the latte art: it is more difficult doing latte art in a high vessel because you need to get as close as possible to the surrface of your drink so the foam doesnt just fall through the surface but actually stays on top:) so id recommend using a wider cup or vessel thats maybe not as high :)
Thank you for displaying the brand names of products that you are using (even if you aren't being sponsored by them)! I find it super helpful to know which store you get a vegan product from so that I can purchase the same if I recreate one of your recipes :)
That chinese marinated tofu is something I gravitate towards alot. That brand also makes smoked tofu and it's so freaking delicious. If you see it anywhere, buy it instantly
In the 1960's porridge oats were a staple of our pantry, with old family recipes from Granny Andy new ones of our own. Even our Dog had oats for breakfast when we did! Oat flakes make fabulous flour which produces many different cakes, biscuits etc. It's banana and oat pancakes with blueberries and nuts this morning.
Steel cut oats is ‘Hafergrütze' in German. Since you don’t have to soak it overnight, it’s much quicker to prepare. I just discovered it recently and absolutely love it 😊
oh my gosh I HAVE to try the first one, I eat porridge like every morning so it gets boring sometimes and I love biscoff spread so that recipe is just calling my name
Mina! Thank you for the recipes :) for latte art, give your plant milk a few second to open up after you steam it. The best way to do that is either tap it firmly once against the counter after it's steamed, or swirl it around in the canister once or twice and let it stand for a few seconds. Then, tilt your espresso towards you and stream the milk in slowly! You can start to introduce the more complicated stuff once you get that part down. It takes time to learn, and there's tons of youtube videos for each milk type. You got this!!
Your Nutella overnight oat mousse is still a staple for me especially if I'm having not the greatest mental health time so I'm definitely gonna try out the Biscoff one!
I'm usually not a fan of savory oatmeal, but the miso oats are amazing. Thanks for the recipe :) Also gotta try the Biscoff oats ASAP, they look heavenly!
THE MISO OATS!!! I'm eating them for the 2nd time today, so good. I didn't have miso and used a bit of tahini and some veggie broth instead. Thank you for this!
I was literally looking for a youtube video to play in the background as I made my overnight oats - you literally couldn’t have timed this any better 😍
The oat blondies are devine! I've made them a few times now, so here a few tips for people who want to experiment: just oats is fine, but quite dry and crumbly, probably needs more moisture in the form of apple sauce. I've also made them with just whole spelt flour and oats+whole spelt when that was all I had, tastes amazing. Instead of apple sauce I've also used two flax eggs (2 tbsp ground flaxseeds + 6 tbsp water) They also work great as a dessert, still warm with some ice cream
Love this recipe❤️ My go-to recipe is almond oatmeal risotto🙃 Mushrooms( or any kind of topping) + onions+ oatmeal + almond milk+ vegan cheese + spices and sriracha = is just magnificent❤
my favorite kind of apple cinnamon "oatmeal" is putting apples with some lemon juice and cinnamon and other spices in a baking dish and then mixing oats with some apple sauce and a little bit of vegan butter and covering the top of the apples sort of like a pie crust and baking it in the oven for 25-30 minutes
Been eating oat as breakfast to recover from denutrition after the birth of my son. Was going for 70g of oat, 1 banana and 20g of peanut butter smoothie every morning (as the liquid state is easier to eat when you don't have a big stomach). After a year of nearly eating the same thing, i'm kind of tired of it so will try some of those recipe to change a bit !
Omg I just had to bake the blondies. The dough already was delicious and I'm so excited to eat these for breakfast tomorrow :-) The tahini is so amazing in this.
The final recipe is one that I've been doing for a looonggg time. But instead of just chocolate chips, I add cocoa powder, and ofc peanut butter. If I'm feeling fancy, I'll add some maple syrup as well to take it to the next level. And if you add maple syrup you don't even need to have a banana in the recipe cause it checks off the sweetness perfectly
The fact that I just made a batch of gingerbread overnight oats on Friday and used that tip of yours to blend the oats is just too cool. Also I was looking for something savory to do with oats.. and that miso oats recipe looks perfect. Like you could store the base away and anytime you're too lazy to cook reheat it and make the toppings to go with it.. That's how I would use it. I feel like every video I find a new recipe to try.
Love love love this! Had a Dr’s appt last and she told me that oatmeal would be great to add to my diet and now I have new ways to eat it thanks to you! This was great 😊
Thank you so much for the steel cut oat recipe! I have a jar of those for forever in my pantry and I finally have a reason to make something out of it:)
Mina- I made the Biscoff blended oats, topping it with a little granola, drizzled Biscoff spread, and blueberries. Hands down THE BEST oatmeal recipe I’ve ever had. Cheers, doll! Thanks for the recipe.
Dear Mina, I really like your videos a lot. On top of showing great recipies, your videos are relaxing to watch. I just got a cancer diagnosis, and once I'm better and when I'm allowed to eat real food again, I will so try absolutely all of these oats recipies! ❤
❤ oats. Eat em almost daily. Peanut butter cookie oats for breakfast. Chocolate brownie oats for lunch. Banana oat pancakes for snacks. Carrot cake oats are clever. Yes, I do have a sweet tooth. Why use flour when you can just use ground oats?
I bet you could turn the blondies into biscotti by shaping the batter it in a loaf, baking as normal, then slicing it at a diagonal each about 3 cm wide, laying each on their side and baking for another 10 minutes, flipping, then another 10 :)
What I love abOat your videOats the most is the variety of recipes. There aren't a lOat of channels Oat there that show recipes I always want to try! But I love your ideas and I'm nOat even vegan! Love from Nürnberg 💕 #oats
i tried the savoury oats! it was good but mine was really salty haha i would probably tone it down with the condiments a little, but other than that it was good! and i threw in some cabbage when cooking the porridge and it added a nice texture to the porridge :)
Hi thanks for watching! My number 1 reason for becoming vegan is that i did not want to actively support the meat/dairy industry anymore. the way animals are being kept there is not fun at all to put it lightly, Also u know coming to the realisation that farm animals feel ofc as much pain as pets do, and they also want to be treated with the same amount of kindness and love we give to dogs and cats. There's many more reasons but yeah animals is nr 1 for sure
really if i had to live with only 3 ingredients for the rest of my life, one would definitley be oats
Agreed. Beans would be next.
Oats, beans, and then probably mushrooms to check as many vitamin boxes as possible haha
@@triptripp1873 it's tough to get everything in just three ingredients! I was thinking oats, kale, and banana? Or oats, avocado, and spinach?
I'd definitely go for oats and some kind of legumes to cover protein along with a nutrientdense veggi like broccoli, but 3 ingredients is pretty hard to work with. Going up to 5 I'd add some berrys and either apple or tomato
Good choice! Rice is nice too, or apples, I can eat them with everything 😄
The mousse looks really good! Makes me wish I could be bothered to use and clean the blender more often lol

Oooh what kind of Espresso machine did you get 👀 I've been debating one myself and would definitely make 10 drinks a day as well 🤣
can you substitute chia seeds for flax seeds.
Love your ideas..one question ..what is biscoff spread?
In Italy i doubt we have it..what can I use instead?
Thank you.
It’s cinnamon cookie butter! Very sweet, tastes like heaven. Alternatively u can use peanut, almond butter or even a chocolate hazelnut spread.
@@Mina_Rome thank you so much.
sind quick cooking oats, Schmelzflocken, oder feine/zarte Haferflocken?

I'm curious, why did you need to cook the steel cut oats for so long? I usually cook it for two minutes then turn the heat off to get thicker
