@@doktormcnasty sounds like something an psychopath would say. It's okay to "set up" animals getting unalived so you can get a show instead letting things happen naturally, smh. Something being set-up vs happening naturally is two different things.
I doubt it was deliberate, but certainly the cars had an effect on how it panned out. Every one of these vids, there's not one but a whole cluster of cars around the animals. There was a scene shown on BBC recently, there were _70_ tourist cars. Not only is it interfering with nature, I can't see how anybody enjoys being part of a crowd like that.
The calf could have been saved without the onlookers getting in the damn way. I accept its nature if was nature. The traffic kept the buffalo from saving the baby. Get out of the way!

Devils created a barrier so the buffalos could not help the calf.
Not sure if any of you noticed but just out of frame there a male lion with headphones and turntables spinning the soundtrack.
Have replayed this 3 times and still don’t see a male lion.

Unless the clip I saw was another buffalo with the same huge cyst in the same place.😂

I see 7 jeeps in the video. The buffaloes were going to save the baby buffalo maybe they were scared of these jeeps. Everyone wanted the lions to eat the baby buffalo. I don't think it means anything else

There not gonna help the calf because its nature, but they have no issues using the vehicles to block the heard from being able to protect the calf, as long as they could get their pictures and videos . Both the guide and the tourist suck in this video. Too bad the Lions didn't turn on them instead. Assholes

Nature is cruel. While we want every animal to live, every animal has to eat. Lions are at the top of the food chain, they eat meat, and buffalo are dinner. If not this one, then another. That is the hard reality of the situation.
Interesting. Almost like a sort of game, but it is a life and death game. Notice how the lions wait until the prey is dead before starting to eat their catch. If it were hyenas, the 'catch' would be eaten live!

Unfortunately for the young calf ...... ALL they were doing was watching from across the street ....... I don't know if they were tired or what but they did a horrible job of protecting the baby buffalo once he was caught.

If the tourists had seen their vehicle between the lions and the herd, they would have tried to go back to the herd and save the cub.
