Ao contrário do que muitos pensam, os machos são fundamentais em certas caçadas. Além disso eles protegem as fêmeas de outros machos invasores e finalmente os machos são expulsos dos bandos ainda na adolescência e são obrigados a vagarem e lutarem por suas vidas e ainda encontrarem femeas para formarem novos bandos. This is nature, but the lions are helped by the safari vehicles (it provides a buffer) the herd or any other buffalo may not want to go near them. Of course, the lions will likely win often without humans around too. That being said, I realize it's important that tourists are allowed to visit these places as the people will develop the land otherwise. At least the income from tourism will help keep the land as a nature reserve. Just my thoughts, I may well be wrong.
