Thanks! Danny, this video is the holy grail of my golf swing. I’ve been searching for this explanation of the downswing since I started golfing 30 years ago. I played today incorporating this technique and hit nearly every ball straight and true, effortlessly. The ones i didnt hit well were in difficult lies. Thank you!!’
This is the single most important golf video I have seen on UA-cam. Starting the downswing, and allowing the club and body to take over, is the most difficult part of the swing for new players. Breaking it down in this fashion makes it make sense and gives people a true step-by-step for how to properly execute the downswing. Thank you for this video!
This video is excellent. I’m a 10 handicap who has struggled with shanks for years. Have been to a number of top local instructors to no avail. I watched the video several times, practiced a few dozen swings and took it to the course. No shanks and many more absolutely pure shots with all my clubs. I have to work on the rhythm next season but am thrilled to find some swing thoughts that actually helped. I appreciate your manner and videos Danny. Thank you.
Many thanks again Danny, Ive been playing for 25 years and had many many physical lessons but your videos are better structured than any lesson. I moved to NL three years ago and just had my first lessons here and it was better than most. The pro told me exactly what I already knew but importantly he showed me how to fix it, get your hips moving first. Didn’t try to change the world, just how to fix it. He finished with one small comment that resonated with me, “ don’t let your trail shoulder overtake your lead shoulder” . I so wish someone would have said that 25 years ago.
@@vincentkingsdale8334I’m no expert but imagine swinging so that a right handed golfer’s right arm is coming around so hard that you end up pointing left of the target as you hit the ball. That would be the “trail shoulder (right shoulder)” overtaking the “lead shoulder (left).” Anyone is free to correct me. Another way of thinking about it is being square at impact means the club facing the target. So if you are too fast with the right side you won’t be square. Golf is hard because you can’t be too slow either. It’s all about balance.
@@vincentkingsdale8334Yeah, can mean many things, as it’s impossible for your back shoulder to be ahead of your lead. What it likely means is don’t let the trail shoulder drive the swing. If your trail elbow is tucked, your trail forearm facing up, your trail wrist flattened and you’re dropping the club, then your trail shoulder drops and follows. To me, that means don’t even think about the trail shoulder; it just follows everything else. A ‘shoulder turn’ is also one of the misconceptions about a swing; it doesn’t drive the swing, but follows naturally. IMO, and I’m a huge fan of Danny so hope I’ve not screwed that up….😮
This is by FAR the greatest video EVER on the downswing. I can’t believe after 7 years of struggling to get the “feel” I literally got it within 30 seconds. Thank you Danny! Is this movement the same for Driver as far as the trail elbow? Also, would you also say this is the same motion for shots inside 100 yards? I’m confident this video just changed the golf community forever.
Exactly what I was working on at the range yesterday. I’ve been coming over the top for 40 years. The difference when swinging like this is incredible. I knew what I had to do to fix it and yesterday was the first time I’ve been able to do it. This video has just confirmed that I’m on the right track. Brilliant lesson as usual Danny. Thank you
Love the fact that you spend a few seconds to explain proper grip. Sometimes I’m too fixed on other parts of my swing and get lazy on making sure my grip is right.
I spent weeks trying all these things trying to correct a slice. Then I saw this video, changed my grip and all my shots were pure. Always start with grip 😂
Danny, In the few years I have been playing (now in mid to upper 80’s), this is the single most transformative piece of instruction I have ever experienced. Although I am right handed I have relied on my left arm/hand to do all the work from the top to impact, never feeling any right- hand contribution. After watching this video, I went straight to my garage setup and I was astonished that letting the club drop and using my right arm to throw the club at the bottom was a miracle (I think I heard the angels singing). It made everything so much easier, and my club speed and ball contact so much better, and my finish was naturally picture perfect (versus semi-forced). Consider posting this video again, maybe with a new title re: “throwing the club” or whatever so that another 500k viewers can benefit from this SUPERB instruction. I am still astounded by the immediate results!!!! Wow! So many thanks!
I wish Danny was my original swing coach! I was instructed to swing downward when I began playing. My swing has been much too steep as a result. How Danny demonstrated and explained the downswing mechanics was the easiest to comprehend. Now, I'll need to repeat this new mechanics over and over until it becomes natural to me. Thank you for making it easy for a guy like me to understand.
This really tied together for me Monte's No Turn Cast concept and AMG's video of lowering the arms. You really did an excellent job demonstrating this. I recently had a lesson due to me rushing the downswing and my instructor was trying to get me to do this, but you put it more simply where i could get the feel of what he wanted me to do. Tried this in my sim last night and it was a world of difference in my ball striking. Thank you for the video!!! It was a tremendous help!!!
Just thought I’d jump on here to say a huge thanks … I have been struggling with strike consistency for a long time now, especially 120 yards in. I played in a club comp recently, and whilst I played OK I only managed to score 20, because I just couldn’t manage my direction, distance control, and was tense and fidgety over the the ball. I have been using this method a few days and today I scored 34! Not only could I not believe it, neither could my other half, who I was playing with … she said and I quote “It was like playing with a proper golfer 😂 “ Everything was just so crisp and solid and the sound of the ball coming off my irons! … Pessimistically, I’m now expecting either the bubble to burst or for my alarm go off for me to get up! Thanks again Danny another pearl!! 😊
@@DanielMaude Thanks Danny, quick question … after a chipping session, I took this exercise to the range today, off mats, and bizarrely, I just couldn’t make it work … I’ve always, always had a problem off mats, just can’t get on with them … is this common and if so why … Thanks again … Best wishes Robin
Absolutely fantastic swing lesson Danny! This has become my one and only swing thought, and it has made my ball striking so much more consistent. Thanks again for another great training video.
I tried incorporating this drill in my downswing and after I got the feel for blending the connection of the right arm to my right side as I straightened my right arm really helped my downswing. I achieved more consistent contact and ball compression at the range today.. The up, down, and around really works. It works best when you make a complete backswing prior to incorporating these downswing techniques. To me it seems to ensure that I turn my right shoulder thru on plane in the downswing which really stops coming over the top and increases side bend in the downswing.
@ hi Danny, I haven’t quite mastered it but definitely not hitting as many fat shots. I think my main problem is I swing to fast to try generate power. Thanks Paul
Hi Danny! I just wanted to say thank you for doing these wonderful videos! I usually just play 9 holes with my Dad & yesterday on my birthday, I broke 40 for the first time! I combined this video & another video of yours about 3 years ago called “how to start the downswing like a tour pro.” I’m thrilled that I can finally play some decent golf! Thanks again!!
What fantastic, simple explanation of the golf swing. I’ve tried this and it’s changed my swing from an out to in to a more in to out or straight path. Thanks again Danny. 👍🏻
Great lesson Danny- I am hitting little punch 7 irons about 160 yards with little knock down shots. Haven’t yet mastered the full swing yet. Focusing on Turning more at impact as my tendency is to hook the shot if I let me hands take over
Right...so...I never comment on videos, but I have to thank you for this one Danny. I worked with an instructor who was trying to get me to move the club more vertically as I had that wicked over the top, left shoulder leading move. I struggled with it mightily and I just couldn't seem to grasp moving the club downward with the arms to start my swing. Now I get what he was trying to tell me! Part of my pre-shot routine now is to sense my right elbow connecting, then right arm extending. It's making a big difference. It still feels weird because I'm not used to engaging my arms at the beginning of the swing but the results are undeniable. Thank you for this and your other lovely content.
Hey Danny just wanted to give u a shout out!! I'm over here in USA Atlanta Ga!! I just started back playing back in Aug!! 2023 an I've also lost 115lbs so I'm constantly going threw a swing change an your tips an drills an videos have helped tremendously!! Mr Danny Maude, thanks for this video and how you explained everything. I had a light bulb go off and it all made perfect sense to me. I can’twait to get to the range to practice this. I really appreciate how you simplify things in your videos. It really makes a difference to us average golfers trying to improve our game. 🙏🏼
I don't listen to golf pros or commenters on TV. They seem to express their thoughts without thinking about the repercussion that can impact amateur viewers in a very negative way. On the other hand, I listen to Danny Maude and keep watching his videos repeatedly. His ability to connect with amateurs through words and drills/actions is a god given talent.😇
❤ Cant thank you enough for this video Danny. I have seen heard and read many coaches even Pete Cowen talking about how the arms work up and down and the body around, but I could never get it to work nor picture how that could work. Your 3rd demonstration @2:35 (club thrown down and out at 45 deg angle) made me finally understand the concept better (not completely yet though). Confused how the video thumbnail shows straight down but this demonstration shows 45 degree like the red arrow in the thumbnail. Would absolutely love perhaps another video on more of where students go wrong trying to work in this change. Like if they slice it or have poor contact with this move. I realise even as a right handed golfer, thinking of my left arm helps me swing better. @3:45 when the right arm straightens and gets thrown, would it be correct to say the left arm supinates some? The twin views are so helpful. Many thanks!
This is possibly the best instruction of the downswing video I have ever seen. Was actually close to giving up golf before watching this. Was totally lost with lag, shaft lean etc. This when done correctly feels like the purest motion through the ball I have ever felt. So much speed through the ball. Thankyou for this video. 👌
Genuinely the greatest swing video I have watched... and I've watched hundreds upon hundreds. I hover in the 8-10 handicap range and this is going to bring my scores down for sure. Butch Harmon and Tiger do a drill similar but even the two of them couldn't describe it as clearly as this. Great stuff Danny.
This might be the most important golf lesson ever. I've been trying to figure out lag for 2 years. This video immediately clicked for me. After just a few drills I started to see the club dropping down parallel to the ground at the top of the swing and my lag looks much netter when my hands reach knee high before impact. I saw an immediate 10 yard gain with my 9 iron with a baby draw. Thanks Danny. Brilliant!
Hi Danny . Tried the new sequence in my practice yesterday played great afterwards ,I’m off 1 but been struggling with strike . This will be part of my warm up from now on . Cheers.
Dear Danny, hope you’re doing well. I just watched your video and I remember a video from Ben Hogan I saw, a few weeks ago. Ben said that the downswing starts with the hips. You teached us that first we go down, then we turn. I’m struggling with this 2 concepts. And hint for me? And again, congratulation for what you’re doing for the golfer community. Best regards. Didier
I’ve seen Ben talk about opening the hips but what he says he does and what he actually does are slightly different. There is a weight shift back towards the target before you complete your backswing. Your arms lower naturally in transition to start the club down. As your right side begins to rotate back towards the target
Absolutely genius explanation - as a long term viewer have always appreciated your clear concepts and demonstrations, but this video is a game changer and transfers to the course surprisingly well. “Down and thru” is the new, and only, swing thought!!!
This is where I am stuck as well. What a well timed video. I do the same thing and I knew I was doing it wrong. I am going to use this drill to try to correct my p3-p5 in my swing! Thanks for another great video.
Danny, you make it look so simple. Each of your practice swings is perfectly in front of the ball with that crisp sound of the club face grazing over the grass. You make it look too smooth. Another brilliant video. Thank you.
This instantly fixed my path which I’ve really struggled with for a number of years. First time hitting nice push shots with ease. What’s your best drill on getting clubhead squared to get things going straight after this?
Amazing. In the last 3 years every time I film myself hitting the ball I'm fliking and this lesson stop the fliking and also made the shaft straighten after the shot amazing thank you 🙏
Just amazing just been out on the course and never hit the ball higher and longer. Thanks Danny what a amazing drill.. hopefully will keep practicing and only get better.
I have been playing golf for 10 years, and I always struggled with both contact and direction the ball took off. This video cured both! Thank you, Danny!
I have gotten much better at golf since I started watching your videos. I'm pretty happy with my swing now, but I still watch and like every video. They are all so informative.
Wow!!! Danny this was amazing!! I just tried this on some 80 yard shots. The results were amazing! I tried something like this last year, but I didn’t have the explanation you provided about reconnecting the elbows and feeling the elbow start the whip. I was thrusting the right arm down too much. The concept of just dropping and reconnecting the elbows, and letting the energy whip through impact is perfect! There is obviously more to the swing we need in place for this to work (you need a good backswing and follow through too), but man, this is a huge part of the downswing! Explained magnificently! Was effortless distance today! Thank you very much!
Hi Danny, just another great video.Very helpful to understand that it doesn't take that much forward lean to hit from the fairway and the correct movement of the arms and hands. I will try it out this weekend. All the best from the German guy who ran into you in the parking lot at Canterbury CG last week. Hope to see you in person later this year. All the best, Marc
This was an excellent video for my issues. I have had an over the top downswing with no lag. I can’t wait to start practicing these drills!! I hope if I practice them daily, I will see a difference! Thanks Danny!!
Superb video Danny, I’ve been working on this for a little while now and the strike has improved hugely, the bit I was struggling with was my grip being too high in the palm (which is why my glove always wears out in the heel!) The angle and then grip advice is brilliant Danny, thanks👌👌👌
Looks great and will try today after work. Just curious, why traditional coaching always teach us to turn first? And why PGA professionals always turn first? Thank your for your insights.
I try that the other day, it feels odd but it works. I used to have a very flat swing and that feels more naturally but it comes round, not up and down. thx
Bravo! Bellisimo! I've not looked at the down/forward swing as a two part process, I've always tried to coordinate it as one piece just trying to get the club back to where I started. But that's prevented me from gaining any real distance. Your process here shows me the lag/whip happening naturally, not by force, but by technique. Thank you!
Hi Danny, all your videos are great but this is the best one ever. Just went to the range, I can't believe what a difference this made, pull the arrow out of quiver! Thank you.
Not sure if it was your post, but I saw basic tip that you’re doing perfectly here: the leg action back and through mirrors each other (or is proportional). My timing gets off if my lower body stagnates and I use all arms. Legs start weight transfer back to load up and the hips start weight transfer through to finish. I think beginners get frustrated trying to figure out where their momentum comes from. The swing to me is closest to baseball regarding weight transfer-the hitter anticipates the ball so that their weight shifts from back foot to front imparting maximum force upon contact. Ricky Henderson and Rod Carew’s batting stances exaggerated the weight transfer as they lifted their front foot as they strode into the pitch. I still have trouble staying in a “contained” form, bc batting makes you lunge, reach and slash in a variety of different directions. Golf requires self-generated power from a stand still and swinging as hard as you can usually doesn’t provide the desired result.
Used the back foot down just prior to backswing as described in last week’s lesson and I won the comp and got below 20 HI for first time! Drives 5 yards more and straight. Made me more athletic. Thx as ever.
Excellent job Danny on describing and demonstrating how to master the downswing! My new thought process is now going to be "down and around!" Well Done Danny!!
Hi Danny! This is super helpful. I am really working on shallowing this off season. Is this similar movement, the down then rotate, true for the driver swing as well? Trying to simplify my swing as much as I can to ensure success in the driver and iron game! Thanks so much for all your videos!
After a summer of playing a lot of “OK”rounds, out of the blue I suddenly started turning my upper body too soon. I hack my body and club around the ball causing very poor contact. Hard to prevent habit. The drop/throw the club motion you describe seemed to be a simple fix, preventing the early upper body over the top move.
This video is timely, because I've been struggling with excessive shaft lean in my setup. I didn't know I was doing it until I recorded my swing from face-on and saw it for myself. Suddenly, I understood why I was topping the ball so much with my irons. Too much shaft lean at setup and trying to hold that position throughout my downswing. All I did was move the club handle about three inches to the right in my setup (I'm right-handed), and it fixed it! Great video, as always, Danny!
brilliant video. it was exactly what I've been working on myself without understanding the correct feel. the right arm drill is brilliant. can't wait to try this on the range
Hi Danny. Just came back to game after 12 years. After 2 months of watching instruction videos, I've cleared every one saved except yours. Thanks, you're really helping me
Hi Danny, a big thank you for thus great video. Been having trouble with consistent and pure striking. Following your instruction really improved my game. Thanks
Why have I never heard the downswing described this way before? Worked beautifully today, hit the ball so solid throwing the club at the bottom. I've always had my arms dragging behind never felt that snap of throwing them. Thank you Danny superb golf lesson.
pulling the trail arm down first really changed my swing last year. I used to try to get the hips moving first but that is automatic if the arms are pulling down first. the hips just naturally get out of the way with this method. Sergio Garcia spoke of this ten years ago but I kind of forgot about it. works with your towel drill from last week too.
This tip really has made a massive difference to my swing and consistency. Playing some of the best golf I’ve ever played. Thank you very much Danny. 👍🏻
*Bing*! Lightbulb moment!! The whole drawing the arrow from the quiver, totally resonates with me. As I turn I reach for the arrow, at full turn I grab it, then pull it out and turn in one fluid motion. Man, I love it when you cover something I'm currently having problems with. I think I've been dragging the arm, or doing something weird to try and stay inside, which has been really randomising my results lately. It's a shame I'm seeing this on the morning I've sold my irons, but at least I've still got the wedges to keep up the practice at my local p&p. As ever, thanks, Danny.
25 years listening to golf pros on TV and in person this is the most simple brilliantly communicated drill thank you

Absolutely, whenever you straighten the arms the muscles will always rotate
This is possibly the best instruction of the downswing video I have ever seen. Was actually close to giving up golf before watching this. Was totally lost with lag, shaft lean etc. This when done correctly feels like the purest motion through the ball I have ever felt. So much speed through the ball. Thankyou for this video. 👌
Happy to help 😁
Your ability to explain and demonstrate the feels of the swing is unmatched. Thank you sir!
@adamoalmer1913 thank you so much. You are very welcome 🙏🏻
@nickpetrillo8512 thank you so much. Really means a lot. Glad you enjoyed it 🙏🏻
This might be the most important golf lesson ever. Brilliant!
Well done Cd, thanks for taking the time to comment 😁
Hi Danny .
Tried the new sequence in my practice yesterday played great afterwards ,I’m off 1 but been struggling with strike . This will be part of my warm up from now on . Cheers.
Wonderful to hear Johanne, thanks for taking the time to feedback
Thank you. This is the part I’m missing 👍👌
One of your best videos to date. The screen shot for the video was also excellent.
Glad you enjoyed it Matt
Nice one Danny… the explanation/debunking of how marginal the degrees need to be was an eye opener
Happy to help
Absolutely genius explanation - as a long term viewer have always appreciated your clear concepts and demonstrations, but this video is a game changer and transfers to the course surprisingly well. “Down and thru” is the new, and only, swing thought!!!
Thank you 😁
Best video on Downswing sequence I have ever watched !!!
Happy to help
I’ve already watched this video several times and my contact has improved significantly…thanks Danny!
Wonderful to hear, thanks for sharing
FINALLY UNDERSTAND HOW TO START THE DOWNSWING. THANKS!
Happy to help
This is where I am stuck as well. What a well timed video. I do the same thing and I knew I was doing it wrong. I am going to use this drill to try to correct my p3-p5 in my swing! Thanks for another great video.
Danny, you make it look so simple. Each of your practice swings is perfectly in front of the ball with that crisp sound of the club face grazing over the grass. You make it look too smooth. Another brilliant video. Thank you.
Thank you Reza 😁
This instantly fixed my path which I’ve really struggled with for a number of years. First time hitting nice push shots with ease.
What’s your best drill on getting clubhead squared to get things going straight after this?
Amazing. In the last 3 years every time I film myself hitting the ball I'm fliking and this lesson stop the fliking and also made the shaft straighten after the shot amazing thank you 🙏
Happy to help Ziv 😁
Just amazing just been out on the course and never hit the ball higher and longer. Thanks Danny what a amazing drill.. hopefully will keep practicing and only get better.
@jav2314 that’s great. You are very welcome. Thanks for watching & enjoy 🙏🏻
I have been playing golf for 10 years, and I always struggled with both contact and direction the ball took off. This video cured both! Thank you, Danny!
Brilliant Karlh! Appreciate the support 😁
I have gotten much better at golf since I started watching your videos. I'm pretty happy with my swing now, but I still watch and like every video. They are all so informative.
Thank you 😁 appreciate the support
EVERY video you make is so incredibly informative and easy to understand and apply! Thank you !
Thank you George 😁
There is obviously more to the swing we need in place
for this to work (you need a good backswing and follow through too), but man, this is a huge part of the downswing! Explained magnificently! Was effortless distance today! Thank you very much!
@dj-flights7376 thank you so much. Glad you enjoyed it 🙏🏻
@@DanielMaude ps. Does this work with driver as well?
A+ Danny! Clear and simple and executable.
Really kind thank you
Well done. Another great video. Congratulations on the 1.3m subscribers. You’ve worked hard and earned it.
Really kind Pete thank you
Danny is the best at simplifying golf instructions on the net!
Esp for us weekend and sporadic golfers. Great stuff as always 👌👌
Really appreciate that Steve 🙏
Hi Danny, just another great video.Very helpful to understand that it doesn't take that much forward lean to hit from the fairway and the correct movement of the arms and hands. I will try it out this weekend. All the best from the German guy who ran into you in the parking lot at Canterbury CG last week. Hope to see you in person later this year. All the best, Marc
Thank you Marc 😁 appreciate the support 👍
Thank You Danny, tried this at the range, and it worked brilliantly. Up, Down and Around!!
Well done Orion!
What a simple and easy-to-follow explanation!! This is great!!
Really happy to help Joe
This was an excellent video for my issues. I have had an over the top downswing with no lag. I can’t wait to start practicing these drills!! I hope if I practice them daily, I will see a difference! Thanks Danny!!
Thanks Deanne 😁
Superb video Danny, I’ve been working on this for a little while now and the strike has improved hugely, the bit I was struggling with was my grip being too high in the palm (which is why my glove always wears out in the heel!) The angle and then grip advice is brilliant Danny, thanks👌👌👌
Really happy to help Ben
Thanks, Danny...the penny just dropped! That tip might be the very thing I'm searching for.
Really happy to help
Easier said than done. It is what I struggle with and working feverishly on, thanks for some great info.
Thank you!
Happy to help you James 😁🙌
Hi Danny, all your videos are great but this is the best one ever. Just went to the range, I can't believe what a difference this made, pull the arrow out of quiver! Thank you.
Thank you Clareo 😁
Sophia (Σοφία) means wise, in Greek, was probably doing what I was. This lesson will help many. Great post.
I really hope so Chris
You are an amazing teacher Danny. This video is Gold. You helped me with my swing.
My understanding of what the arms do in the swing has been flawed my whole life. This video has helped me so much. Thank you.
2:16 Thanks to Danny, I finally understand the trebuchet analogy. It's the trail arm! 😍
Absolutely 👍
Separating the arms and the body turn like this completely simplified the golf swing for me. Thanks!
@rwldebruijn1979 you are most welcome. Thank you for watching 🙏🏻
Used the back foot down just prior to backswing as described in last week’s lesson and I won the comp and got below 20 HI for first time! Drives 5 yards more and straight. Made me more athletic. Thx as ever.
Happy to help 😁
Excellent job Danny on describing and demonstrating how to master the downswing! My new thought process is now going to be "down and around!" Well Done Danny!!
Thank you John!
One of the best drills I've ever. Learned
Really happy to help
Hi Danny! This is super helpful. I am really working on shallowing this off season. Is this similar movement, the down then rotate, true for the driver swing as well? Trying to simplify my swing as much as I can to ensure success in the driver and iron game! Thanks so much for all your videos!
Absolutely, check my video that’s being released on Saturday as I think it will clarify a lot of things
@@DanielMaude awesome, thanks! looking forward to it
After a summer of playing a lot of “OK”rounds, out of the blue I suddenly started turning my upper body too soon. I hack my body and club around the ball causing very poor contact. Hard to prevent habit.
The drop/throw the club motion you describe seemed to be a simple fix, preventing the early upper body over the top move.
Happy to help Rex 👍
This video is timely, because I've been struggling with excessive shaft lean in my setup. I didn't know I was doing it until I recorded my swing from face-on and saw it for myself. Suddenly, I understood why I was topping the ball so much with my irons. Too much shaft lean at setup and trying to hold that position throughout my downswing. All I did was move the club handle about three inches to the right in my setup (I'm right-handed), and it fixed it! Great video, as always, Danny!
Thank you 👍
brilliant video. it was exactly what I've been working on myself without understanding the correct feel. the right arm drill is brilliant. can't wait to try this on the range
Up, down and around! This helped me immediately. Great lesson as always. Thanks Danny!
@MrMrl69 that’s great. Thank you so much for watching 🙏🏻
Hi Danny. Just came back to game after 12 years. After 2 months of watching instruction videos, I've cleared every one saved except yours. Thanks, you're really helping me
Happy to help 👍
I have never had the downswing (forward swing?) explained in such an understandable manner before!!
Hi Danny, a big thank you for thus great video. Been having trouble with consistent and pure striking. Following your instruction really improved my game. Thanks
Thank you Mike 😁
Why have I never heard the downswing described this way before? Worked beautifully today, hit the ball so solid throwing the club at the bottom. I've always had my arms dragging behind never felt that snap of throwing them. Thank you Danny superb golf lesson.
Happy to help Matt 😁
Thanks Danny really helpful.
Another of my problems for not striking well is when the ball is above or below my feet. Can you do a video on this?
Absolutely James will do
Best drill I have ever tried. I deleted all the previous downloads. I don’t need them after I discovered this video. Thanks
Happy to help 😁
I’ve been trying to fix these for months. First video that I actually get it.. Thanx Danny
Really happy to help Shannon
"vinaka vakalevu". So easy to grasp the concept with your demo.
Glad you enjoyed it
Should we also be trying to put our weight on the lead foot before we complete the backswing? Great video!
Yes you do, 💯 Molly
Danny, this is superb instruction. You'd be a gem in the U.S.
Really kind thank you
pulling the trail arm down first really changed my swing last year. I used to try to get the hips moving first but that is automatic if the arms are pulling down first. the hips just naturally get out of the way with this method. Sergio Garcia spoke of this ten years ago but I kind of forgot about it. works with your towel drill from last week too.
Happy to help 😁
This tip really has made a massive difference to my swing and consistency. Playing some of the best golf I’ve ever played. Thank you very much Danny. 👍🏻
@StevieBuckleyPT that’s great, thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Thank you happy to help 😁
