Helmsley Castle - North Yorkshire, England

In today's video, I visit Helmsley Castle and Manor House - a nine-hundred-year-old medieval fortress which fell to Parliamentarian forces during the English Civil War. The castle stands above the market town of Helmsley in North Yorkshire. It's managed by English Heritage and is within walking distance of the magnificent Rievaulx Abbey.
