I can't WAIT to see the Kaffe Fassett interview, he is just incredible and looks like he's such great fun to be around with the way he made you both laugh at the end. As a Cumbrian who has lived in North Wales for 48 years I have thoroughly enjoyed this vlog, watching you drive through the beautiful Cumbrian countryside. I am looking forward to watching your interviews in future videos. You are both so professional and beautiful. xx
Wow,I think this is the most beautiful video I have ever seen and I can’t wait for the interview with my hero kaffe fassett . Thoroughly enjoyed the video from start to finish. You both did a great job, and look forward to the interviews. Madeline looked wonderful in that amazing forty’s dress, and the choice of music throughout was spot on. Look after yourselves. 👏👏👏
I'm loving this travel series! The landscape is food for the soul - esp mine because I live in a rather unlovely region of southern Ontario! Also, just want to say (as a mum of a 21 yo daughter): Madeleine (I hope I'm spelling this correctly) is a wonder of composure and articulateness - just like her mother. How proud you must be, Andrea.

Oh, wow! That was a terrific travel blog and oh, I can't wait for the Kaffe & Brandon interview! Mother-daughter team making memories and terrific videos for all the viewers - thank you for traveling for us when we can't. (My special request....please go up to Norway and interview Arne & Carlos...they are huge fans of yours and I love them, too.)
I loved everything about this travel vlog: the behind the scenes snippets, the sneak peeks of upcoming interviews, the Yarndale interviews, Madeleine‘s burgeoning interview skills, Andrea‘s filming and directing talent, the beautiful countryside, the history of the Brontés, the music just everything!
Oh ladies, This was absolutely brilliant! You had me grinning ear to ear. The landscape, music and behind the scenes footage had me feeling that I too was traveling and adventuring among new frontiers. The 40s dress is stunning and watching the two of you work out how best to display its beauty was tender and lovely. I hope you both had fun creating such a rich, joy sparking episode! Im so grateful to enjoy your work♥️
I love these vlogs....an interesting behind-the-scenes look, and the upcoming interviews look amazing. I particularly loved seeing the medieval embroidery with the pot head :D, the 1940s dress, and the knitted butterflies.
Wonderful that the two of you took a little road trip and looks like some great interviews, I am so excited. Most of all I am so happy to see you both smiling, beautiful ladies! 💕
Absolutely loved watching this! The work you do in documenting all these crafts, techniques, skills and interesting people and places is so important. I always love the music as well! Thank you ❤ j xx

I cannot imagine a better 30 minutes spent transported into this magic land of fiber and gardens and breathtaking landscapes. Thank you both for your absolute generosity in bringing us along.
Madelin is becoming a real model, beautiful! What a lovely vlog and so good to see that you have fun with the people there! And get comforting and loving hugs💜
This travel blog is a wonderful idea and a great way to allow us a chance to see and learn things we would otherwise miss. Thanks for sharing the beautiful landscapes of Cumbria and for the interesting vendor interviews at Yarndale. Such an amazing variety and creativity! Looking forward to all future interviews and in-depth segments.
These vlogs have a very different look and feel from your regular episodes, and I enjoy them immensely. You're rounding out the viewers' experience by giving us more of your personalities. Thank you, A&M, for giving this beauty to the world.
Well, if that wasn't a highlight of my week! What a lovely relationship you have together. I watched with a crazy smile on my face the whole interview, especially that last part. And the variety of the knitting and fabric world never fails to astound me. Moths! Medieval Embroidery with a touch of KISS! Oh, Andrea--I so want everyone who watches to become a Patreon so you continue this work. You are so talented and professional. Andrew and you learned so much, and now Madeleine is learning and carrying on with you for now. I wish her luck in her studies, but really, I want to see more of her when she can. The two of you are the best !!!!!
Thank you for another vlog! They are so interesting to watch! I just cannot wait to see all the interviews on the show. And you met Kaffe Fassett!!!! You ladies rock it! Exclamation marks after every sentence but that is how your vlog made me feel :)
Oh my gosh, what a gorgeous minisode! I was so excited to recognize Kaffe Fassett, I can't wait to hear his interview! I think I first bought a book of his in the 1980s... he's so amazing. sadly, I must say that Fruity Knitting has totally spoiled me for other knitting podcasts. Most folks just point a camera at themselves and talk about... whatever. None of them (with the exception of Arne & Carlos) ever come close to the professionalism of these beautiful videos. I'm so excited to see more. Good luck and safe travels in beautiful UK.
Oh wow what a beautiful travel vlog and wow you interview Kaffee I’m making a quilt out of his fabric 😊 thank you and Madeline for doing these I for one are surely enjoying them
Truly enjoyed every minute of this. I think you are giving us something really unique. It peaks our interest for what your future episodes will hold and gives us some behind the scenes filming. Then, to cap it off with the reveal of your interview with Kaffe-I’m so excited to hear what he has to say as I am a big fan of his work both in knitting and in fabric! That will be such a treat!
This was so much fun! Thank you for taking us on this journey. It is great to see the behind the scenes meticulous work that goes into making your fabulous interviews. Thank you.
Wow!! Glad I watched to the end. Kaffe Fassett! Can't wait for his interview, plus all the others. Really a lot of exciting fiber content on our way, plus a more detailed tour of the Bronte parsonage. I visited there in 1985 or so, and I can see there is even more on display now.
Ladies! A-mazing job giving us a snapshot of your work and journey! Really helps us all understand what goes into the episodes before they are polished for viewing. I just love seeing your creativity and the everydayness behind it all! Thank you.
This was such a beautiful and sentimental journey. You are both international treasures of the fiber community and first class documentary filmmakers. I am continually impressed by your choices of music, landscape, and interview topics as well as the pacing of your finished pieces. So much work goes into them. But more than anything, you project such love and appreciation for the artists you are bringing to our attention. In every way, Fruitty Knitting models a level of professionalism, preparation, curiosity, and artistic sensibility that is second to none. I am proud to be a patron and hope thousands will join me in supporting your important work.
This is one of the best vlogs I have even watcherd, thank you very much Andrea and Madeline! I can’t wait to see the full interviews and so many beautiful, interesting, innovative people in this episode. Thank you!
I love these vlogs. You always make us feel a part of your family and I have missed you. Thanks for sharing your travels with us. Can't wait for the interviews.
What a magnificent vid! Kudos to the editing and music! I nearly drooled when I saw the yarns and textile fair. Educational on several topics. Travel, local history, specialty medieval technique, dolls, history of weaving, on and on. I’ve shared this vid not just for the content but for the happy healthy vibes in a time when there’s so much online negativity. Huge hugs!🦌💌❤️🧶🙏
So exciting to see what’s to come, thank you for your ongoing work, you make a lovely working couple, as many have said Andrew would be so happy and proud of you both.
I'm loving the travel blog as your teaser for future podcasts. You look at the two of you in the car and Andrea looks like Madeleine's sister. Madeleine looked gorgeous in that black vintage dress. Keep up the wonderful interviews.
Thank you for allowing us to travel with you, albeit vicariously.Looks like you’ve got utterly fabulous material for future episodes. Love you two so much!
I loved this travel Vlog, ladies! Alan Dart - I recognise his wonderful creations. Wow! And Tanya Bentham is such a great character. Thank you, Andrea and Madeleine for taking us along on your road trip. Lucky ducks!

This was one of my absolute favorite episodes! Such a joy to watch! Loved the editing and music and adventure and everything! I felt like I went on a wonderful rich vacation along with you!
OMG! you interviewed Kaffe Fassett and Brandon Mably! I've idolized Kaffe for over 30 years! His colors are so incredible! I am loving this travel series sooooo much and look forward to the episodes you are producing. Thank you soooo much for all of this. I think if you both so often and I'm so impressed to see the partnership you have formed. I know I'm not alone in saying you are loved by so many and you bring so much to us all with Fruity Knitting! ❤❤
Also, Yarndale was amazing and I loved the folks you interviewed (especiallythe medieval embroiderer with her modern "twists"😅). And that 40s dress looked gorgeous on Madeleine.
stumbled onto Part 1, loved it...searched for Part 2, even a tease of Kaffe Fassett is worth the time...will be parsing his sitting room in stop frame...then, excited to see Part 3, I looked and looked for about 10 minutes before I realized you had just posted Part 2, 58 minutes ago!!! I will try to be patient for the new part and will be watching for the episodes with your interviews in, I hope, deep detail...thanks so much for taking us along on your travels. Knitter, weaver, seamstress, quilter, lover of all things fiber related...Arizona, US
Oh wow!!!! How amazing to meet up with all those talented people. An absolutely amazing episode and so privileged that you have chosen our beautiful countryside to bring to the world. Thank you both for all your professionalism and hard work!
Dear, you are making this vlogs very uplifted, full of joy and happy faces. I think Andrew, wherever he might be puts a great smile on his face and be very proud of you two. I can tell I was moved about the music and also about seeing you together as passionated. Thanks from a Belgium member of your podcast, Christiane 😘❤️
From someone who will never see any ot these wonderful places in person, your two vlogs have meant the world to me. The scenery, the Bronte family area, the fiber festival (and the choice of vendor interviews) are priceless. For me, if you happen to slip from A+ to A- quality in your productions, it's not a big concern. Your content alone makes up for any of what you might view as deficiency in experience. The important thing is not to exhaust yourself with worry about it. As far as frequency of segments, this patron will understand that life requires adjustments. If that means you need more time, take it. The most important thing for me is to be able to watch for as long as I can. Thank you and Madeleine for all you're doing. Andrew would be so proud.
Oooh, at the end of a wonderful episode! I thought, Wow! Kaffe Fassett! I have always admired his work and cannot wait to see the interview. I loved Yarndale too and the very interesting people involved. I must try to visit one year. (I’m based in Gloucestershire) Well done for travelling around the UK and fitting in some delightful places, it takes a lot of energy. I can’t wait to see all the podcasts (interviews) in future Fruity Knitting episodes. Well done Ladies! xx
Love it! Oh it's so good to see a yarn show even on video!! Thank you for sharing all of that and I'm looking forward to the interviews you're filming!
CONGRATULATIONS Girls - you’ve done it!! This teaser trailer looks fabulous.... looking forward to the episodes coming out of the pipeline...... soooooooooo good. Xx
This vlog was absolute perfection. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed it from beginning to end. Absolutely charming. I know you’ve all been through so much lately and I just thank you so much for persevering and putting together all these delights. I absolutely love learning about different cultures, people, crafts and lifestyles. This had a little bit of everything! I’m still a new watcher but I’m thoroughly enjoying your videos. Thank you so much! ❤️
What a wonderful teaser for episodes to come! I saw Alan Dart’s Cumbrian characters in one glimpse. I’ve enjoyed knitting many of his great characters. Can’t wait to see the future episodes.
Wonderful! I really enjoyed everything about this episode & look forward to seeing your interviews in future episodes. Amazing scenery & fabulous yarn & vendors at Yarndale. Thank you Andrea & Madeleine ❤️xx
Even more enjoyable than your first vlog, and that one was just superb. THis one is absolutely packed full of treats. Alarn Dart! That 40s dress!! Kaffe Fassett! He's been such an inspiration to me. i never made anything of his but, oh, the hours spent browsing through the one book of his that I have and also online. In fact, he's often in my head when i've been travelling or even just walking in my neighbourhood. I am so excited you got to interview him. If I can't visit the UK, then then next best thing is driving along the roads with you two. I've been seeing bits of Yarndale on Instagram so it was great to get a closer look at it. Thank you both so much x
Thanks girls, what a lovely episode of your travels. The yarn festival looked just amazing with some lovely talented people. I would have had trouble containing myself in that place. Madeline looked just amazing in that 1940's dress what a good choice. What a valued experience with what looks like some great people.
Fruity knitting has changed my life on so many levels. I know this is a big claim to make but it is completely true. I have gone from only having the confidence to knit scarves to having the confidence to knit anything I want, a confidence which has spilled out now in everything I do. Fruity knitting has connected me to designers and yarn suppliers who allow me to have little love affairs with everything I knit, for example at the moment I am knitting a Ysolda Teague hat ( Rose Red ) using Fleece and Harmony's wool and as I knit I swap from looking lovingly at the lace work to admiring the gold colored yarn. I am a woman in love. I have also become inspired to knit my own designs which I know will have the best chance at succeeding because of all the knowledge I have acquired. In short Fruity Knitting has changed me and now I look at this travel vlog and get so excited because during such a terrible time in all of our lives, we have Fruity knitting and everything that means. The really great thing is I am pretty sure that thousands of others feel the same.Thank you with all of my heart.
That is a very special message. I am gratefully for it and I know it would have made Andrew very happy. He loved to make a positive difference to other people's lives.
I’ve said it before, Il say it again, your the best knitting blog online. 💖

Another amazing episode! Beautiful cinematography! And Madeleine did so well! She is so stunning! Thank you so much for your great work!
Vey nice episode and Madeline did great. Dad would have been so proud. Thanks Ladies. 😍🥰👏👏👏💐💐
Oooh, at the end of a wonderful episode! I thought, Wow! Kaffe Fassett! I have always admired his work and cannot wait to see the interview. I loved Yarndale too and the very interesting people involved. I must try to visit one year. (I’m based in Gloucestershire)
Well done for travelling around the UK and fitting in some delightful places, it takes a lot of energy. I can’t wait to see all the podcasts (interviews) in future Fruity Knitting episodes. Well done Ladies! xx
Traveling with you is so charming! Loved the music at Yarndale of course. So interesting at every turn.
This episode is absolutely one of your very best…. And what a joy to see your smiling faces., God bless you richly!
Love Tanya Bentham the artist who finds a small niche she is passionate about and makes it into something educational, a bit cheeky and beautiful.
What a wonderful teaser for episodes to come! I saw Alan Dart’s Cumbrian characters in one glimpse. I’ve enjoyed knitting many of his great characters. Can’t wait to see the future episodes.
Brilliant! Such a wonderful teaser trailer of things to come. I am excited.
Fruity Knitting just keeps getting better and better! Well done … superb production!
I loved all of this. Your music is perfect. Madeline looked gorgeous in the vintage dress. I look forward to Kaffe Fassett. ❤️🌺
Love this vlog - love it, love it, love it. Love the teasers, the scenery, all of it!!
Thanks girls, what a lovely episode of your travels. The yarn festival looked just amazing with some lovely talented people. I would have had trouble containing myself in that place. Madeline looked just amazing in that 1940's dress what a good choice. What a valued experience with what looks like some great people.
Lucky me to watch this entertaining and beautiful trip with you while I knit. I look forward to each episode.
So true. Your words are exactly how I feel. Fruity Knitting has made a lasting impact on my life. I will never forget Andrew.
