Wow! Nice looking boat for a 1990. I just had mine scanned for the Nauteva brand, but I really like the way that yours turned out. After seeing yours, I'm going to have my gunnels scanned along with a-lot of other areas.
great point about the floor texture. my buddy has his boat covered in stuff like whats on your gunwale and it absolutely sucks to clean. also, light grey was probably not the best color choice for him.
Patrick, this is an awesome video! The texture on the floor pads is called 'embossed' and the texture everywhere else is called 'brushed'. I think you really proved that if you take care of this material it will last a lifetime.
O.k…..o.k… you want to keep your seadek looking brand spanking new. Go to the hardware store and buy a small tarp to cover the bow when you fish. Lock it into your front bow hatch and anchor hatch. When you stop fishing hose it down and store it. Case closed🤙
Great video. Dark grey is smart. If you use any light color and fish a lot YOU WILL STAIN THE SEADECK ! SEADECK stains easily no matter how maticulous you are cleaning it. I wish there was a better material.
No when you order it from the company you can order it in different thicknesses and every 3mm is usually 1 layer so you can pick a different color for every layer.
@@darielnavarro2151 stuff is not cheap, I would use it on an older hull to spruce it up, but not worth it on a newer hull. Youll eventually start dealing with peeling and cracking imo... Salt water and heat, it's just inevitable imo
Horrible trash company. I had Seadek on my new boat. After a year it started to peel up. I contacted SeaDek and they said it was installed incorrectly. It was installed on a new boat at the manufacturer. They refused to do anything....trash product.
I cannot believe this boat is 90's. It looks like 2020
Excellent video and greetings from New York. This has really motivated me to do this on my Searay.

9 months is hardly a lifetime.
@@biglaverstyle 9 mos of hardcore fishing can tear a lot of things up, especially in salt water
@@mabelpup8502 i say again, 9 MONTHS IS HARDLY A LIFETIME. Read it again... there you go.
@@biglaverstyle Shaddap!
I wish I knew where the hell to get all of the stainless latches, turn lock latches, etc for a boat from the 90’s, late 90’s, and early 00’s.
West coast marine, maybe?

Super nice but man is it really worth the price ? That job is atleast a couple thousand dollars
This job cost him atleast 4K. My buddy did one like this for just the floor and his boat is way smaller. That cost him 1,800 so this is atleast 4k
@@Murfdigidy yea for my 21 tarpon bay the whole boat they were asking 3K like that’s crazy to me

Quick question my man, is the dark sea deck hot on the feet ?
It gets warm but never like terrible hot

Don't pressure wash all the time and it'll last a lot longer
What's the colour of your boat called
Dark Grey AwlCraft
What was the cost?
Sea Dek is expensive. Probably $5k or more
How much did your sea deck cost.
For a boat this size with this amount of product is about $48,000.

9 months isn’t a useful review. You have folks asking for an update 1-3 years now.
South Florida boat center redid this 👌 boats a 1989
All that seadek cost more money then your boat is worth 🤣
