      It's a problem, huh?
      Definitely my #1 -guilty- pleasure.
Not even reaction videos.....but specifically _Aurora_ reaction videos.
idk....it's a super effective way to decompress at the end of the workday imo. :P

She is. Askjell does not fall short, either. Bergen and its surroundings are magic somehow bc there are so much talent coming from there. (OK, Aurora was born in Stavanger IIRC, but anyway.)

Askjell is credited as a co-producer on some of Aurora's songs. Have you watched the official video of Askjell featuring AURORA "to be loved". If not, watch it with decent headphones to hear all the different layers, and of course, Aurora.

I used to listen to a lot of sonata arctica and aurora reminds me a lot of that time. I get what you love about it, that epic sound of fantasy that lets us dive into our own imagination.

Askjell is a GENIUS. His 2022 album 'Everything will be ok' is next level. Just fascinating music

Askjell is very experimental with his music (he is the keyboardist). He composed the entire piece with possible contribution of lyrics from Aurora.

@@wrighteousj She has done several different performances of Life On Mars, I highly recommend the one from channel NRK with 4.4M views. 2nd best imo is the one at the Howard Stern show.
I also recommend you watch the music video for "To Be Loved" privately if you want, it is really good, very artistic.

She has such a beautiful voice. Really beautiful. The performance is great with the soulful playing of the musicians and in this beautiful setting. Thank you for sharing this video with us.
And I want to say something about your comment from the beginning about you and your band. not only is what you do very good. City of Sound deserves success as a fantastic band that is so close to the fan base and lets us (Madness) share your journey. Thank you guys. ❤💚💙💜

This has a really cool music video, and I never thought we'd get a live version, so this is really cool. There were a couple other featured singers during this show, and at the end, Aurora was cutely giving their empty spaces props when Askjell was thanking them for being there.

There is another live version from Sep 2019 ua-cam.com/video/C0PRiWPV-SM/v-deo.html
It is a phone recording, but still very beautiful and just next to the tiny stage.
There is a 3rd live performance of this from Sep 2018 when the song came out, but only tiny snippets have been recorded: ua-cam.com/video/-pgrpGRYX28/v-deo.html

I even think I like it even more then this one with better quality :). I would love to be in the place where these people were during this intimate performance :).

Askjell is also a producer and I think Aurora worked with him and that's how they met, they have collaborated on a couple of things now, she interviews him and features some of his music on her EFLSession event. That's a cool video, and great music. Askjell put together a very moving video that features Aurora and Sigrid, called Sofia, for a young girl who was ill with cancer. Thanks for a great reaction!

They have worked together since the beginning( around 2014). When Aurora heard he was going solo she wanted to contribute and they collabed on this song.

lol....I like that you were drawn in by the aesthetic of the screencap.
tbh....so was I. I mean, I was gonna watch it anyway, cuz it's Aurora.
But that church is just stunning....especially with the way the bright diffused white light is bouncing off everything. It's like the light on a clear sunny morning when there's a ton of fresh powdery white snow on the ground from the night before. THAT kind of light. It's hands down my favorite kind of light. And this performance....has that vibe imo.

    • @taccamine8312
      @taccamine8312 Рік тому +1

It is not a church. It is an old Kings residence in Bergen (Haakonshallen) from the 12th century. This concert was during the covid pandemic period, and therefore had very restricted seating arrangements

Well I haven't listened to the reaction yet since I popped over to Spotify and listened to some of your stuff.
TBH, I thought I knew what to expect given your intro music (which I would've been fine with), but I was really impressed with the ethereal soundscape and unexpected changes.
I put bands into 4 categories after I listen to them a bit:
    1. bury myself in their catalog.
    2. liked an album, save it and just play it through regularly
    3. liked one or a few song(s) and they went on my playlist,
    4. not my style,
I was expecting 3, but found you were 2. I started with and liked your latest two "Lost Valley" then Andromeda. Then I started into your album Silent Empire and am still liking it. Saved Silent Empire to my Spotify and started following you there. I also followed you on bandsintown. I couldn't find you on bandcamp (I would've bought your album) - there's another band there with the same name from a decade ago (nothing posted since 2016).
I'm having trouble placing your genre (I know you said "Cinematic Rock" but I don't know what that is). I found you on everynoise, but I think they got your genre wrong (or at least it's too specific).
All in all, I'm glad you put the intro in. I listened to you once when you first started reacting, but in my listen today I really listened and I'm glad I did.
Best of luck, I hope you find the success you're looking for.

Aurora is a pixie kissed by and angel. * I would like to recommend another singer to you * He has a huge fan base and its a bit mind blowing once you get started. His name is Dimash Qudaibergen. Reactions to his music are very popular. I know I search them up specifically. I hope you give him a try. He has been called the best singer in the world btw...

    • @elisabethstermo9396
      @elisabethstermo9396 Рік тому

Dimash is the best singer in the world and this century right now. No male or female can match his voice. Not even Mariah Carey can match his voice. And every reactor starts with his signature song SOS, and can't believe what they just heard. Their minds are just blown away. So, yes.. if this guy doesn't react to Dimash, he's he's missing out the greatest singer we have ever never seen and heard anything like it ever. That was a lot of ever never ever lol 😂 😂 And I know Aurora, because she's from my home country Norway. And so is Angelina Jordan. Just sayin. 👍 Best regards from Norway 🇳🇴
