Murder Song 54321 performed live at the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert and It Happened Quiet live at The Current are 2 of the most amazing and well performed songs. You won't regret watching them.
She lives and breathes the music and always feels the songs completely, earlier in the career she used it to "escape" and forget the crowd because she was nervous. She never dreamt about being a singer originally only about writing songs, and she said that for the first 2 years (2014+2015) she did not actually enjoy it. But then she learned how do deal with the fans and now she loves it. She is 26 now (22 in this performance) and has already 3 albums + 2 EPs out. What a great first pick for Aurora. Her song Churchyard from this mini concert is worth a watch too. You would enjoy Through the Eyes of a Child live on Vevo for a beautiful demonstration of her vocal power and control. Look forward to future reactions to this exceptionally talented artist.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My name is Shawn, I'm a FIFTY TWO year old METAL HEAD!!!! Nonetheless, Aurora is one of my favorite Artists OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!!!!! What a great pick of a song for your introduction. She is genuine and your impressions of her and her music and Vocal skills are spot on. Her connection to nature, the earth and human emotions are evident her work. It's hard to put into words. Catch more of her performances and even her cover material, you won't be disappointed.
To really appreciate her magic vocal range you should listen to her song 'through the eyes of a child' live at Nidarosdomen, the oldest cathedral in Norway where the acoustics are phenomenal as is her performance...it's breathtaking and brings most people to tears! You get chills and cold sweats, it's just ethereal. The entire concert is a must, please do listen to it :)

Her other songs have different energy, but are still beautiful and heartfelt. She is really talented, caring and just amazing! Man you are in for a treat. I definitely sub you for your Aurora journey. She is the most interesting artist just now and my seven years with her have been heavenly. She is a pure spirit and a natural force. Aurora Exhale inhale vevo live is my favourite from the latest album. Extremly interesting and haunted beautiful. Thank you for your interest in our Queen.
I love watching people discover Aurora. I check for new reactions regularly, so if you post them, I'll probably be here to watch them. I'd definitely recommend her live performances over her studio versions.
Nice reaction. Magnus, the drummer is not only one of her producers, but a sensitive musician. You can hear him pull back and make room in all the right places, then really deliver the energy toward the end. Melisma is the name of the many-notes-one-syllable form I think you were thinking of.
Very cool reaction. And I love her music (it is diverse, emotional, with great lyrics, often poetic and usually open for interpretation). Of course it is always a matter of music teste too, but for sure she is great natural artist, songwriter and producer :).
Really loved your expressions throughout this whole reaction. Tells me all I need to know about your spirit. I think you get the Aurora vibe. You feel like family. ☺️
Kudos to your violinist to introduce you to Aurora, and great choice to continue with her music, you won´t regret it! Aurora is special and my favorite artist, next to Angelina Jordan, and both are from Norway. Enjoy your journey. Subscribed!
I absolutely love Aurora! My biggest regret is that once she came to my city, but I was too insecure and didn't have anyone to go with me, so I just returned my ticket. @@i_d_i_e_h Yes :(( I'm from Porto Alegre, in Brazil, a city from the south of the country. Is one of the main capitals, but only after Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, but it's becoming rarer and rarer for international artists to come here, they usually stay only in Rio and São Paulo. It must've been an iconic show!
@@giovannapadilha I guess you know she will be at the Lollapalooza festival in Brasil March 24, 2023 at Autódromo de Interlagos in São Paulo. I'm pretty sure she will do some solo concerts in Brasil next year also, but they are not scheduled yet. You might have to travel to a city where she play. Most of her fans have to, because she tour all over the world so it's limited how many cities she's able to play in. She's totally in love with Brasil and the people there though. 🙂
@@i_d_i_e_h Yes!! I know she'll be going to Lolla, I really hope she goes for some solo concerts here as well though. The tickets for Lolla are way to expensive for me to be able to pay for the travelling as well, but for a solo concert I think it's possible! (For you to have an idea the ticket for lollapalooza here costs almost the double of my salary)
@@giovannapadilha Oh wow, yeah that's expensive! I'm "spoiled" because I live in Norway. She actually don't have that many concerts when she's home, but it's a small country so it's easy to travel to the cities where she play. Tickets to her solo shows are usually cheaper than other big artists, because she don't care much about the money. She just want everyone to be able to come see her. Just keep an eye out on her website or Instagram for solo concerts next year. I hope you get a chance to see her 😊
Welcome to the Aurora rabbit hole. You have discovered a truly magical place. I hope your journey here is long and beautifully strange. Not long after this song in the concert, she throws her shoes away. She doesn't like them as much as you do.

great reaction and great introduction to Aurora. This is probably my fav performance. She is so free, but at the same time she has immense control. Everyone did their part. I think Bjørk being in the audience might have helped everyone to give their all.
Oh wow! Imagining performing for Björk herself! Not to mention this song seems very inspired by her own work, both the title (All is Full of Love?) and the music itself (kinda reminds me of Hyperballad)

Great reaction to a great song. Continue with Aurora and see that each song is uniquely amazing in both lyric and vocal. Damn even her cover songs are so beautifully crafted it can make you forget the original. Looking forward to hearing more of your thoughts on this artist.
Yes! I've been following you for your Nightwish reactions, and know you are doing my absolutely favorite artist, Aurora. Aurora is the total package - singer, songwriter, musician, dancer, producer/arranger, choreographer, and an absolutely lovely human being (and she’s just 26 years old!). She will often perform her songs quite differently - sometimes with her band, other times stripped down to just her and one instrument, a cappella, with full orchestra, etc. - so it is definitely worth listening to different versions of the same song. Also, her videos are mini-masterpieces as well. A short list of original songs: Runaway - Nobel Peace Prize concert and her music video Through the Eyes of a Child - Nidarosdomen concert, my recommendation Live Stripped - VIVO UK Lift It Happened Quiet - Nidarosdomen concert, but I'd recommend the live at The Current version as well Churchyard - Live on KEXP Winter Bird - Nidarosdomen concert and her music video Murder Song 5,4,3,2,1 - Nobel Peace Prize Concert Lucky - Nidarosdomen concert Little Boy in the Grass - Nidarosdomen concert The Seed - Music Video, HAIK Concert The River - Music video, Live in Bergen 2020 Exist For Love - Music video, Daydreamer - Music video She also does some awesome covers: Life on Mars - David Bowie Believer - Imagine Dragons God is a Woman - Ariana Grande Across the Universe - John Lennon Teardrop - Massive Attack Rasputin - Boney M And of course there is her latest album “The Gods we can Touch” which is pure gold!
Just found City of Sound, Silent Empire release show, fucking cool sound sir, congrats, looking forward to see some more......and keep reacting to Aurora, I can also say, lady with the violin sure has the looks, plays violin so freaking cool and definitely a bright n smart lady that brought Aurora to your life cool how things happen Aurora's Love and Magic working! ha ha Hey Wasteland sounds goood bro! 👍
@@wrighteousj Most people think Freddy plays the guitar. He can, however his bass work, in keeping with Auroras unusual vocals, her chanting and sometimes almost Pink Floyd like production, is briliant. When you add Silja in harmony, Magnus on the Cajon and Freddy on bass, it is quite amazing the quality of sound they can produce. Even playing live at small radio studios. Check out some of their "NRK" or "Like a Version" covers. They do one of their own songs and one cover. Small studio, limited instruments and they are not told which cover song until 1 hour before the performance. I recommend "Teardrop" to start.
Not even going to make specific reccomendations because her whole catalogue is magnificent. The studio versions and accompanying filmclips are pretty much universally stunning; BUT her live performances usually outshine those by a mile! I have my own head cannon of preferred live performances of all her songs. ...I will say that the studio recording and wonderful filmclip to "Queendom" is probably my favourite version of that song so far though. Pumps me up.
Normally her live performances are the best, but just for "The Seed" the music video is also very good and very powerful. Maybe react to both versions in the same video if possible?
She is very talented. She performs her own songs and covers. For the covers, she normally adds her own twists to kind of make them her own. She is also great as an accapella. Her live performances match her studio versions.
Thank you gor a great reaction. She is special, nor only when singing. Her interviews really are very entertaining, sweet and funny. She is unfiltered in the most positive way. But react to a few more songs first perhaps. There are a couple of must watch epic concerts: live in Nidarosdomen, a cathedral in Norway with organ, symphony orchestra and choir. Every song in this concert will blow you away. Also the Haik concert held in the woods where she used to play as a child. Just amazing! These two must be two of the best concert recordings I have heard in my entire life. The Haik concert is an interesting show. It starts with the artist being taken on a day trip where the host has arranged the day with various activities, including a mini concert for two fans, a performance of one of her songs by one of Auoras favorite artists, all endind with the concert and all beiing surprises. (Haik means hitch hike as the srtist is taken gor a ride, but a besutiful one. I believe other Aurora fans (called Warriers and weirdoes) will confirm this. This being said pretty much all her performances are brilliant and moving. Her vidoes also and her vevo videos are just …. Have a great day and a Happy new year!👏😊
You are in for a treat then!!! This woman sings like the angels in heaven. Her live performances are better than their production videos. She is a Norway singer. Her originals are crazy insane with talent! She is extremely animated and her whole being is in the performance. Sometimes you can see her shake out of the emotion she feels in her music. Please check out Murder Song 54321 live at the Noble Peace concert in 2015, I believe. Any of her songs will touch your soul.
I’m ecstatic to see you check out Aurora!!! I saw her live in September and it was definitely one of the best concerts I’ve ever gone to. She has a shared 1st spot for the best live vocals I’ve seen. I really recommend “It Happened Quiet” live at the Current. It’s a studio performance but it’s just so gorgeous and enchanting.
Very nice reaction🤗 I absolutely love this song and performance, she’s on fire 😍😍 During this concert she takes her shoes off and says “life is better without shoes”😅 She’s often barefoot on stage, she likes to stand on her tipi toes 💕 Could you please react to: “Through the eyes of a child” live from Nidarosdomen (cathedral in Norway) “Runaway” live at the Nobel Peace Prize concert 2015 She wrote this song when she was 11 years old 😳
You should check out her live performances from the HAIK concert! It takes place in a forest in Norway. My faves from that concert are Daydreamer and The Seed. And if you want a song to cry to I recommend Through the Eyes of a Child live at Nidarosdomen. It's a very moving song and her voice is beautiful in it.
The key to Aurora is "Different". All her songs are different and each time she reinterprets them. That's why the live performances are best. Her lyrics reflect her different way of seeing the world.

Great reaction to a great song. Continue with Aurora and see that each song is uniquely amazing in both lyric and vocal. Damn even her cover songs are so beautifully crafted it can make you forget the original. Looking forward to hearing more of your thoughts on this artist.
shes. incredible. i love her so much.
You found the only performance where she's wearing shoes lmao
I'm looking forward for more BTS and Aurora songs ❤️❤️❤️ My two favorites I can't believe it 😭❤️ I recommend Forgotten love - Aurora live on kexp ❤️
More aurora please!
We here in Brazil call Aurora a fairy, her falsettos are perfect, because she is an alto.I love Aurora, greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷🇧🇷
She's soprano and she use both head and voice falsetto and mixed voice and so is chest voice she occasionally belt too
Great reaction! Check out Through the eyes of a child from Nidarosdomen consert! It is mindblowing!
Nice, you started with one of my favorite songs of her's, from one of my favorite performances!
A short list of original songs:
Runaway - Nobel Peace Prize concert and her music video
Through the Eyes of a Child - Nidarosdomen concert, my recommendation Live Stripped - VIVO UK Lift
It Happened Quiet - Nidarosdomen concert, but I'd recommend the live at The Current version as well
Churchyard - Live on KEXP
Winter Bird - Nidarosdomen concert and her music video
Murder Song 5,4,3,2,1 - Nobel Peace Prize Concert
Lucky - Nidarosdomen concert
Little Boy in the Grass - Nidarosdomen concert
The Seed - Music Video, HAIK Concert
The River - Music video, Live in Bergen 2020
Exist For Love - Music video,
Daydreamer - Music video
She also does some awesome covers:
Life on Mars - David Bowie
Believer - Imagine Dragons
God is a Woman - Ariana Grande
Across the Universe - John Lennon
Teardrop - Massive Attack
Rasputin - Boney M
And of course there is her latest album “The Gods we can Touch” which is pure gold!
Yay! Aurora!
Hope you like it!
This was in Iceland..Bjork was in the audience.
Subscribing to follow your Aurora journey. One of my favorite things to do is watch people discover and sink into the world of Aurora.
I like this concert a lot. It is short, but really nice
You HAVE to listen to her song RUNAWAY. Aurora's voice brought peace in my life.
Also, please react to I Need You and Butterfly by BTS.
You should watch the live performance of Runaway from the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert.
Just found City of Sound, Silent Empire release show, fucking cool sound sir, congrats, looking forward to see some more......and keep reacting to Aurora, I can also say, lady with the violin sure has the looks, plays violin so freaking cool and definitely a bright n smart lady that brought Aurora to your life cool how things happen Aurora's Love and Magic working! ha ha
Hey Wasteland sounds goood bro!
👍
O thank you!and thank you for supporting City of Sound!!! Update me when you hear our album and singles!
@@wrighteousj Absolutely so far sounds fucking awesome great music!!!
Awww 🥰
Subbed for more Aurora, and because you recognised the Fender Bass VI. 👍
Lol! Thank you!!!
My daughter who introduced me to BTS…. Also introduced me to Aurora! 💜🙌🏻
I highly recommend her performance of The Seed at the Haik Concert. I know your violinist will agree with me about this being a special one 💜💜💜
Normally her live performances are the best, but just for "The Seed" the music video is also very good and very powerful. Maybe react to both versions in the same video if possible?
@@Einyen He doesn’t react to music videos 🥺
Agreed
Have a great day and a Happy new year!👏😊
Aurora is a angel...her voice is what I imagine heaven will sound like...
Very nice reaction🤗
I absolutely love this song and performance, she’s on fire 😍😍
During this concert she takes her shoes off and says “life is better without shoes”😅
She’s often barefoot on stage, she likes to stand on her tipi toes 💕
Could you please react to:
“Through the eyes of a child” live from Nidarosdomen (cathedral in Norway)
“Runaway” live at the Nobel Peace Prize concert 2015
She wrote this song when she was 11 years old 😳
Starting by diving in the deep end proud of you
I loooooove Aurora!! Saw her live a few times and it was magical... She also seems to attract the most loving and caring people to her fanbase 💜
She’s a different kind of genius!
I love so much Aurora, she is my favorite artist ✨🦋🍂🤎
Bjørk was in the Audience 🥳❤️🇧🇻
Haha a little fun fact about the “badass pink shoes” is that they were pretty much the only shoes she wore in 2019- they are definitely iconic 😌🌸✨
hooo yeah !! Looking forward to see what you're gonna discover next with her ! She is magical !
You should check out her live performances from the HAIK concert! It takes place in a forest in Norway. My faves from that concert are Daydreamer and The Seed.
And if you want a song to cry to I recommend Through the Eyes of a Child live at Nidarosdomen. It's a very moving song and her voice is beautiful in it.
yes and yes!!!!!
Watch the Live at Nidarostomen concert. Thru the eyes of a child...Will Make Yu cry. Yu gotta check it out.
React to any performance of Aurora at Nidarosdomen. Nothing better in this world
Dive more into her stuff - hell, yes!! I'm in!
Yes please! We want more!
Ppssstt.. did you know she’s a siren? When she sing, she stole your soul & lock it In her magic world!
The key to Aurora is "Different". All her songs are different and each time she reinterprets them. That's why the live performances are best. Her lyrics reflect her different way of seeing the world.
❤️🇧🇻 Aurora
Yes! Everything you said! Yes Yes Yes!
Thank the violinist for her great musical taste and ask what other music she listens to 🤣🤣🤣
Thank her for Nightwish and Aurora ... ❤
True LOL
@@wrighteousj btw. More than the aforementioned artists, but I would still recommend many more great ones to you, possible reactions.
