This whole song.....but especially the intro, with the backwards looping effects and Aurora singing "waking up thinking of what it is to be loved to be loved to be loooo.....ved" fills me with a super specific feeling. It's the feeling of waking up naturally, before you meant to, very early in the morning...like maybe 4 or 5am, and just laying there, half asleep half awake, in this liminal state of being. That feeling, emotionally, is really captured in that part of the song.
For me, I feel like it's if I'm super high. There is that weird tone and everything seems yellowish. Of course that's just me and I am not good at smoking weed haha. it was amazingly relatable to me for the wrong reasons I guess. I totally understand the waking up thing too though . I still stand by the high effect 🤣
I'm a big fan of Aurora and I haven't really watched this video but a couple of times, it is really a weird video, it really suits her, lol. NIce reaction, I am on board for more Aurora, I only watch those, so, see ya on the next Aurora
@@Oldperson-wt3ui not to my knowledge. On Aurora’s cover of Life on Mars she plays the piano herself. At least on the video I’ve seen. He might have accompanied her some other time.
I love Aurora's collaborations, she has several producer and editing credits. She has a very interesting technique and sense of timing dynamics and lyricism. Would love your thoughts on another group, The Warning they just released a new track produced by Anton Delost and Niko Rubio, very cool.
So this is only your 2nd Aurora song I see? Would love it if you did more. A lot more! tbh, I'm fine with you doing nothing _but_ Aurora stuff. ;) But seriously.
Aurora's music is so diverse, but here I guess it's mainly Askjell's music, even if I can't imagine Aurora not participating in some parts (I mean I can't imagine her only singing what, and how, she's said to sing, without doing anything else). I'm not really familiar with this song, so it was interesting to watch, the song and your reaction.🙂👍
The reason I chose this one for you isn’t because it’s a popular song by her, it isn’t.. but the production is ‘unusual’.. and I thought you might enjoy that aspect of it.
There's a great live version, mobile phone video but whatcha gonna do. I like it more than the studio version, personally. ua-cam.com/video/C0PRiWPV-SM/v-deo.html
My favorite song of all time!!!
Askjell is a composer, producer and musician. He is also a friend of Aurora, and has composed and co-produced on at least 2 of her Albums.

@@tinntinnamp oh I get that too :)
That's the great thing about music and art tho... Everyone sees an infinitude of facets in a single piece of art.

Through the eyes of a child, the Nidarosdomen concert, you can see Askjell play the piano
@@themetricsystem7967 isn't that him too with the song Life on Mars? I could be wrong

@@themetricsystem7967 she sang it at Nidarosdomen with just a piano accompaniment, I think that was him
