@@Zekrom249 maybe but even with nails he knew that it was betrayal of his own sons and get along with it. I never understood how he could do it.
@@ukaszbiaek6641 they weren’t his sons, from his POV. His legion was forced upon him by the Emperor. His true family died on his planet, thinking he abandoned them.
@@heathenpride7931 it was already retconed. E came to the system when angron was last man alive from his army. Secondly after meeting with Kharn he was blabering that he will set them free etc. but in the end he just kept murdering them
The emperor could have come down from the ship and help angron and earned his loyalty but instead he just takes him and let's his friends died.
This is great! The text you chose for the voice actor was the first thing I had ever read that gave me a deeper view of Angron’s character- (then the book “Betrayer”, the short story “After De’shea”, and then more and more)- I had always previously dismissed him as a one-dimensional rage monster, boring in what I thought was a simple character. However, after reading those, I realized the complex tragedy of who Angron was, who he was forced to become, and who he could have become. He’s become one of my favorite Primarchs- oddly, because he isn’t who I’d normally choose- but I find him and his story fascinating. Thanks so much for this- excellent work, as usual- and I am truly looking forward to your take on my real favorite- Corax.
Thank You! I totally agree. Though my most favourite Primarch is Horus Lupercal, since he was my first introduction to what a magnificent being he can be (and how tragically he can fall).
I will try to keep the order as secret as possible...mainly because many are still in working progress and some I still need to get to know better. And of course surpirse is fun ;)

Angron is actually my favorite Primarch. His story is the most tragic. Everyone viewed him as a weapon, even his father. The only ones to respect were his fellow slaves. And the Emperor forced him to abandon them when they needed him most. Plus he was actually an empath who would take on the pain and tornent of others and put them at peace. And then he was violated with the Butcher's Nails.
I'm glad he gave himself to Khorne. It's literally the best thing he could have done considering that the only he's not in pain is when he is blooding for the Blood God.
Perfectly captures the feal of one of my favorite Primarchs. I'm looking forward to hearing what comes next.

I'm relatively new to the 40k verse( only got into it a couple of years ago) but I gotta say I really love what I've seen so far. A lot of the "villainous" characters have so much depth to them and after reading about Angron's tragic story I can't help but sympathize with him. He was literally only forced to feel anger by his enslavers and was forced to become a daemon prince by Lorgar. He probably had one of (if not most) tragic of the primarch back stories.
Anyway sorry for the long discription. This really was a great depiction of his character and I can't wait to see how you depict the other primarchs.keep up the great work!
I don't mind the long description at all. One of the aspects that really grew on me regarding Warhammer 40k (and well 30k) is this very thing. Horus surprised me so much after reading the books. And then there's the Talos and his gang from the Night Lords...Iskandar Kayon...Fabius Bile...so many great, deep characters!

Absolutely amazing work. The quote fits the music perfectly, the music is almost an essence of Angron. Simply put, a wonderful track.
Is this going to be a weekly series, or more of a "when it's done" thing? Looking forward to Magnus, Lorgar and, surprisingly, Guilliman. I'm really curious what you're going to squeeze out of them!
Thank You. It's more of a "when it's done":) Some of the big bois already have melodies and ideas sketched down in Ambiences & Battle Drums, but some I still need to learn about to get the feel of their essence. But everyone will have their turn :D

That's a funny idea lol. Especially since Magnus is my favourite from that series. However they are their own, comedic interpretations, and I wish to pursue a different, more approach in this project.

I actualy hope not. Their voices are good for the parody because they fit the goal to be fun and dumb at the same time. But for something serious those voices can sound realy stupud like the voice of leman. It just doest fits if you try to do an actual adaptation of the character. Leman is brutish salvage stoic but also controlled and has his own charm and stoic wisdom. The voice in TTS is ment to be the oposite to make ligth on his character and fit the target of TTS, to be funny and dumb. So no they dont fit at all.
@@ShadrackMeduson I really don't agree with that honestly. Superanchors does a flawless Rogal Dorn whether its played for laughs or not. And in the show Dorn is still a serious character just with certain traits exaggerated for comedic effect. I would say the same of Zegram as Magnus, but its even more apparent because Zegram has proven on multiple occasions that he can do serious Magnus as well as TTS Magnus. And Zoranthebear has proven he can do serious Russ quotes, just look at the #9 entry on 40k Theory's top 10 primarch quotes video. Admittedly I don't think Zoran's Russ voice was designed for Russ's more long winded & flowery quotes, but I don't think it should be dismissed as 'too silly' I can definitely see him playing Russ in a genuine animation rather than parody

Michael Ironside as Rogal Dorn. There. I said it.
If listening to the recordings from both Angron and Lion El'Jonson has taught me anything, it's that Roboute Guilliman is a flawed figure, despite his noble intentions. Angron thinks him a hypocrite leader because Robby G. had it pretty easy growing up on Macragge, as opposed to Angron's own harsh early years on Nuceria. The Lion, like Guilliman, remains loyal to the Emperor, but is wary that his blue-armored brother and those other Primarchs who are close to him may try to usurp the Golden Throne, since the Emperor himself is as good as dead. Guilliman wants to make the Imperium a better place, but that can't happen so long as they face unending war and the people continue to worship the Emperor as though he actually were a god.

OK, I suspect I am in the minority here, but I do not like this.
It does not sound like Angron talking, it just sounds like a guy reading a script.
Don't get me wrong, he reads it well, but I feel like it lacks emotion, pain, anger, rage ... like Rambo at the end of First Blood.
I understand and thank You for Your feedback. From my experience this kind of thing can be very subjective, as I consume most of 40K lore in audio books and dramas. Some voices resonate with me and convey the character perfectly, some not so much.
We all have a picture, a voice in our head of these magnificent demigods.
Angron wouldn't be perfect at speaking, think about the nails
