I appreciate how the runners appreciate the story. It kinda shows that speed running doesn't mean they hate the amazing story like people assume. Though... it ruins the amazing story for newcomers, lol
You have never seen GDQ (Games Done Quick). As there. They have a block of playing really bad games quickly. Though will say some of them are gems for being bad but others are so bad. You can't believe someone put themselves into physical harm. All to entertain...oh wait. There are other activities that are a tad worse that playing a bad video game but the mental trama...man nothing can compare.
From central ( or center, I can't remember) seal island- Swim directly under prison island and pass it to hit the bionis occipital. From there swim left. You can see the cave. You can jump off reefs to get closer to kromer coast, and the lower islands. Warp to the high entia tomb, and jump over the railing to the left, to get to the other area. If you do it right, there isn't that much swimming. You can't get down from prison island, or it would be better to jump from there, in order to get to the occipital. All you have to do is make sure you're in the center of the sea, when you're swimming to it, because if you swim beside the beach, you'll have to swim further.
Get that guy who doesn't like Rikki off that couch. "Pet character", really? Rikki is the oldest member of the party and a legendary Dad. I guess he never saw that scene with Dunban on the Mechonis Beach.
I cannot agree with you more! I disliked Riki until you realize how subtle of a character he is with that specific scene! It entirely changed how I viewed him! I'm so glad you feel that way!

There was battle with lot of sword bearers but most of them are swords recycled through others battles, etc. New swords were pretty rare. Lance were the most common weapon because they were cheap and quick to make, unlike a sword who can take months to make! Spears were the most common weapons, not lances. Lances are only used by cavalry, which was often restricted to men of at least knightly class. Also, swords didn't take months to make. They did take longer, but they used more metal and honestly just weren't as effective as spears. Swords also just took longer to train a man to competence with than other weapons. Accessibility was also a factor; if we're talking about medieval Europe, most soldiers were peasant levies, many of whom were expected to arm themselves. Swords were more expensive and harder to come across than spears - also lots of farm equipment could be used as makeshift spears. Now, just because swords weren't as common in war didn't mean they were _uncommon_ necessarily. Swords were by far the most popular weapon for personal protection; you couldn't well walk about town with a big ass spear.
HOLY CRAP THAT RUN SPEED... That's probably one of the biggest reasons why I hated playing this game. Running around felt like a chore, you barely had any speed unless you wasted slots on gems for run speed. That and many other issues, but wow

Speedrunning involves playing the same game repeatedly for weeks and months. I can't imagine anyone choosing to do that with a game they don't love.

The boop-grind is the best part of the run. Not that the rest isn't neat, but I had to replay just to do dumb stuff with sleep after seeing that.

LostSoldier20 You only need one gem slot for run speed and you can get like 7 or 8 per character...
I'm also a min-max type of player.
Meanwhile here they are just like, naturally twice as fast as normal.
It's not that bad to be honest, you must be kinda impatient.
You must be really inpatient, none of the characters with even the most agility decreasing armor still run at pretty good speeds.
